d.The theatre of dreams. Was my local watering hole at university. Great drink prices with the usual taps you’d expect in a pub - plus an extra five taps with guest craft beers. Food menu has been shaken up a bit but still good good. Usually has activities going on throughout the week, and for the weekend it’s great to watch sport. Lots of seating inside and limited outside seating.
C. E.Jess and Harry were absolutely amazing for my birthday bottomless brunch! Came in and there were birthday balloons on the table which was so so sweet of them! Couldn’t fault the service at all so quick and the drinks were amazing. Thank you so much Jess and Harry for making my 20th!

J. O. P.Popped in whilst back visiting family, what a great experience. I ordered the peri peri chicken wings, they were fantastic and wash down with a few pints of WRU IPA. The atmosphere was great and I loved the music, couple all this with a game of killer on the pool table made it a night to remember. I'll definitely be returning and recommending.

Good music, good prices and nice staff.
Only thing that stopped me making this 5 starts was the hassle my partner had asking for a mocktial. Should be provided in this generation plus I'm ex bar staff its just "don't add the alcohol"

M. M.If you're new in town and you're a student, head here for a free drink. You have to sign up to their program using the qr code at the door. A lovely little place with really friendly staff, I might just return to say a hello and have a good drink here since it's close to my place.
G. M.The food is decent and the mango cider is very tasty. Communication about the booking was not amazing, but overall an all right place to visit. This is a very student pub so if you want cheap, all right grub this is the place to go - if you're looking for somewhere higher end this isn't for you!
J. W.Well I didnt visit for freshers of student drinks but a date after a lecture as a mature student but I must say. If I was a young student this would be the place to be. Music, karaoke, decent dried drinks and central location
M.Popped in few days ago for drinks, we had an absolute ball! the prices were great and the atmosphere was lovely too. staff member called jordan was fab! although I think friend liked him a little too much lol. Will definitely be coming back. highly recommend

P. G.Call it Bottomless brunch and it doesn't sound great... but when you call it unlimited beers for 90mins with a Full English while watching the football - that's a whole different story!
The staff were lovely too and helped us plan our night as we weren't from Cardiff.

Good to see all the staff were clearly following the new guidance measures, constantly cleaning and ensuring everyone was shown to their table and followed the one way system.

Not only served with a smile but with the genuine warmth and wholesomeness of a baby koala. Felt so at home, like all my worries and cares melted away like canyfloss in a puddle. I would live here if I could, couldn’t have asked for a better experience. So blessed.

L. J.Hadn't been up to my old 'student haunts' for a good few years, but this place as singlehandedly reminded me that there's life outside the City Centre! Obviously it's a bit different during COVID-19 - they handled the social distancing brilliantly I may add - we had the best time! Were seated within minutes and the app was super easy to use, plus the drinks and food arrived within what seemed like seconds (unlike other places!!) A great selection and the food, which was a great price, was lovely. Already arranged my next catch up there. Thanks Gassy's for an excellent night!!

R. F.Was alright, drinks were a good price and there was a decent range to choose from. The lager I got was Ice Ice cold, yum. Staff behaved very annoyed towards drunk people who were arriving quite close to last order and got quite impatient with someone asking for straws. Overall, had a good time. Smoking outside is possible and they have bins for cigarette butts, so that's gooood. Music was great, though.

R. J.Awesome bar - cracking grub, and lots of beer. Screens dotted all over the place to watch sport on. A Favourite for watching the rugby, good covid "controls". Its very popular with the younger crowd aka students, but don't dismiss it - cracking selection of beers / alcohols to try.

F. R.Not bad, a nice student bar with a nice selection of beers and a fairly good atmosphere. The beer was a bit pricey for a student bar however, I payed £10.40 for 2 pints. I did also had to wait a fair bit for my drinks, after having to trek to a cashpoint in the snow because the card machines weren't working. Overall a nice place, I think they were probably just having an unlucky day being busy and short-staffed...

M. D.I absolutely love this place, since the renovations it is especially lovely inside, the staff are friendly and helpful, the drinks are reasonably priced and they have a MASSIVE selection. The food is delicious, and they have a few great vegan options, as well as some amazing deals (make sure you stop by on pancake day!) Any time of day and any occasion, Gassy’s with it’s convenient position just off Salisbury road it is always one to pop into

I. B.Maybe I was a bit harsh giving yourselves only a 3 originally so I've upped it to a 4. I gave an average score only due to the service being a little slow, and when I finally got my meal it was wrong, and had to wait a while again for you to get it right.
The meal itself was nice, staff was okay and everything was reasonably priced
J. B.Tbh it's not a bad bar. If someone invited me there I wouldn't complain. But I wouldn't choose to go there.
It's predominantly a student bar so when it's busy expect a handful of students and we all know what students are like when you combine student loans with alcohol.

I was really impressed recently after I left a scarf in Gassys on Wednesday. I realised the scarf was missing a few days later, but the people who work there had looked after it!
