Been here twice now and both times were a lovely experience. It is a little bit on the small side but it's clean and comfortable. The drinks are delicious and overall a nice place to start for the night 🍸

as a person in their mid 20's i felt welcomed, me & my mrs went here for a cocktail or two, great music, awesome cocktails & they have a hashish too for anyone who would be interested in that, would recommend with a strong 4/5 stars.

Went here New years day 🤗 very friendly staff doorman outside was a good laugh too very attentative to make sure your not left without drinks even gave us snacks 😀 all in all had a great evening here so will definitely be returning thanks 😀

It's a shame in-door seating is still not available and we had to sit outside for table service. Considering it was a really wet and cold night it wasn't too bad as we managed to get a seat in one of the booths which has electric outdoor heating panels on top which you can switch on and off. Food is only served until 9pm which was not convenient for us as we arrived around 10pm and therefore could only order drinks alongside a complimentary bowl of nachos. However, our time spend at Mocka ended up being really pleasant, as the atmosphere and vibe was quite chilled and the music in the background was of good taste. A random find which happened to a hit with no planning or booking beforehand.

Great atmosphere, we went for the endless martinis and your own platter of food. From the time our 1 1/2 hours started, we were served constantly with drinks, not just Martinis but prosecco, and gin cocktails, and the brunch was excellent. Our glasses were never empty. Needless to say we left a very happy group of girls. For £25 we cannot wait to go back. A special thank you to the staff on the floor

Delicious 2 for 1 cocktails we tried a lot of the menu and there is more to go through. Service was shockingly slow, we waited 1h for the first lot to arrive but it was not too bad as we had more friends arriving and this corner is buzzing with people in their best clothes.

Holiday vibes and such a nice atmosphere in the lounge. Couple next to us brought two very adorable puppies. The cocktails were amazing, shisha watermelon flavour was lovely. Will definitely be coming back.

Very nice place that was very clean and comfortable with plenty of seating for customers. The range on the menu was extensive and imaginative and of reasonable price. The staff were very polite and friendly and although it did take a while for me to be served I could see this was because they were busy which I see as a positive so didn't mind the wait. Will definitely return.

The Ultimate Bar for Cocktail Lovers. This is a real bar, make no bones about it, they serve damn fine cocktails. Their cocktail actually also look like they do in their photographs and taste amazing. The bar tenders are very knowledgeable and it's fun putting them to the test. Yes it's busy at the weekends, but don't forget they have more than the ground floor, their have the ultra cool 1 Below downstairs and a great dance floor and VIP area upstairs too. The food is exceptional and the Bang Bang Chicken is devine. Very cool, very sexy and very Mocka Lounge. Highly recommended for a sophisticated night out.

Had a fab time after a meal at sister establishment The Meating Place. The 20% off this gave us was the hook, as cocktail bars just aren't our thing. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The drinks were amazing, proper cocktails, mixed at the bar with obvious skill and care. We loved it because it was totally different to our usual choice of establishment, but I'll wager cocktail afffectionadeos would rate it highly.

Great music on valentines day but we had to have our shisha changed 3 times because it wasn't working and still the last time it wasn't good but we put up with it as we got sick of asking for it to be changed. Won't be going there for shisha again.

Great little spot to sit and relax especially when it's quiet. Mocks is a bar and restaurant that seems to specialise in artisanal cocktails. There cocktails are both tasty and appealing to the eye. Myself though i enjoy a good gin and tonic and they have a variety of gins to offer including some of my new favourites which were recommended by mocka staff and garnished specifically to compliment the flavour of the gin. The seating area inside is cozy but i prefer outside were you can either sit on a sofa or on the super comfortable bucket chairs. Definitely recommend you visiting her at least once.

It's a semi chilled out place. Needs a little tlc now and it is of course a regular haunt of the Mill Lane crowd. It is a good place for cocktails and long drinks. Whenever out I do visit for a few drinks.

A bar with a reputation for fine quality cocktails and an almost balaeric atmosphere. We sat outside bathed in a soft neon glow, candle flickering in front of us on huge sofas and after asking for reccomendations, ordered a couple of their signature drinks, the Berry Mocka and Cherry Mocka. Nothing to do with the chocolate coffee mixup, these two drinks were a wonderful pair of creations, melding fresh fruit juice with raspberry vodka, amaretto and cherry brandy in the case of the Cherry Mocka. The Berry Mocka was based around gin, apple schnapps and lemon juice to give it a slightly sharper, refreshing tang that I preferred, however both were delicious and as the Cardiff night closed in a little we headed inside. The interior decor was fabulous, a blend of futuristic surfaces, gentle illumination and bizarre fishtanks all marked out by their refinement. We got a couple of free and very tasty Brownies brought over (a huge plus) and finished off before calling it a night there. Mocka holds up as one of my favourite places in Cardiff, it's an independent in a street of great bars and thus has to fight it's corner against more established brands and thus it's the fantastic quality that keeps it going so well.
