F. M.We had an epic time! Got in at 18:00, cocktails started flowing. Decided it was a good idea to get in some tapas. Would recommend the prawns and the bravas potatoes. Rum selection was great (very well priced). Vibe was a bit more mature which I greatly appreciated this being CardiffCentral. I feel the music selection and live music was catered to those late 20's & up.

K.I visited Cuba Revs several times pre-pandemic for bottomless brunch and always had a good experience. Tried it again on the weekend and was pleased to see that it was still a great experience. Staff were friendly, engaging and were regularly topping up drinks/checking on our party. We never had an empty glass in the 90 minutes we were there. The menu wasn't huge, but the food was tasty and arrived quickly. The atmosphere was great fun. Easily one of the best bottomless brunches in the city.

Even though it was quiet there was a lovely genuine Cuban feel to the place with the music playing in the background and the decor of the restaurant.
My wife had a mocktail and I enjoyed two glasses of the Argentine melbec (Very nice too)
The food was truly amazing and the prices we thought are very reasonable.
We were only in Cardiff for two days but should we return we would definitely return to sample more from their menu.

Firstly the covid measures in place where reassuring and the venue was spotless and knowledgable and friendly staff!
I tried one of their mocktails and I wasn’t expecting much but I have to say it was the best I’d ever had and I didn’t even feel I was missing out. The children’s menu was good and the kids enjoyed their meals. I tried three of the tapas and it all was cooked to perfection.
I am normally hugely critical as I own my own venues but I was so impressed with the staff and the whole experience.
Thank you for making a meal out on holiday fantastic!

K.Absolutely fantastic place food is amazing and so are the staff, shout out to Annie, Ella and Will they were brilliant, in fact they were so good and the food was so good, we decided to cancel Miller and Carter the following night which we had booked for my husbands birthday,and return here to try all the tapas we hadn't tried the previous evening. Wish we had one of these in Worcester. Will return as often as we can as we love Cardiff and this is now our most favourite place to eat.
The staff all say what a wonderful company revolucion are and say they are one big happy family and you can see that from the moment you walk in. Thank you all for making it two nights to remember!!

Possibly the only place worth visiting if on Safari or on tour in Cardiff. Fantastic atmosphere and music, especially when Graham D J arrived and lit up the decks, playing the tunes you love, everyone got up and danced. All the bar staff are super-efficient, bubbly and polite. The door staff were friendly and helpful and welcoming. Great choice of Cocktails, lager, wines and cider.

K.The cocktails are good, though seem a little more expensive than I would expect, the biggest problem I had was the order people were served at the bar, some people would end up waiting for quite some time even while others could walk up and get served ahead of them, even when not particularly busy. The live music tends to be entertaining and the place is large and quite open so doesn't feel too cramped even with quite large numbers of people.

When I was there they had just changed chefs so the menu was a little restricted, but enjoyable. I'll definitely go back, perhaps on a Wednesday when they have a salsa class, as I enjoyed the Latin music that was playing during my meal.

My main was a huge disappointment, nothing was properly cooked. I had a dish with undercooked aubergine, which was inedible. The tacos hadn't been cooked so they were hard and spilt.
The service was really friendly and lovely. The bill took a long time to get to us, but it was a busy Saturday.
Would go back but probably just for drinks!
I. R.This is my favourite place in Cardiff. A huge choice of cocktails (which are delicious btw) and great food. The atmosphere is always very relaxed, but sometimes the music can be a little too over powering - especially if you're just looking for somewhere to eat during the day. Overall I would highly recommend this place.

The table she reserved was in a good location and the service from the waitress was really good. She was friendly,happy and nothing was to much trouble. The table service was a little slow but we had been told in advance that the cocktails would take a little while so that wasn't to bad and the other drinks We pre ordered as part of the package arrived promptly. We also ordered some food and it all arrived together and was tasty and good value.
My only negative is that it was really cold. It was a hot day out so I understand maybe why the air con was on but it didn't add to the Cuba vibe. All in all tho a good night was had.
m. r.Been here 2 or 3 times whilst working in Cardiff, I understand how you get mixed reviews here and I think it's simply down to who is working on shift on the day, kitchen and service as I've had mixed experiences. First time I went I was served the best GnT ever.. The barman salt rimmed the glass very slightly with something else. It wasn't visible but my goodness it was sooooo good! Another night I went different bar staff on shift didn't have a clue what I was served and couldn't duplicate it.. So disappointing! But that said, the Tapas on 3 different nights was very good, great value for money too, I would highly recommend. But the server service was different from one night to another. There was one girl there who is very efficient, smiley, without being over the top. But the others are pretty poor.. You may as well be invisible! The girl that was good I saw sitting at a table with a laptop one time so maybe she is a supervisor of some kind.... She seriously needs to pass her skills and passion on to her coworkers. One other thing... What an amazing decor, this place has so much going for it and I will be back :)
F. 1.We celebrated husband's birthday at Rev de Cuba. They kept our drinking booth reserved for nearly one hour, we were a bit late. Amazing cocktails, lively atmosphere, fantastic music! Thank you for a great night!
N.For a restaurant/bar chain this place always delivers. Reasonable prices both for food and drinks.The food portions are generous and they serve the best calamari. They have also happy hour for drinks- bonus! Atmosphere is wonderful you feel transported to little Cuba. Quiet on most days of the week which is great if you want to escape, but on the weekend -evenings in particular - this place is animated. You can dance without feeling awkward as most people are also dancing away. It strikes a good balance between bar and night club. Service is on the slower side but that can be overlooked for all the other positives.
N. H.Have always enjoyed a night out there. However we tried to book a party there for 20 people. We were encouraged to choose a particular food package which included meals which wasn't suitable. We were later told that to book we had to adhere to the booking policy of paying 20 pound per head.

M. T.We were visiting Cardiff and saw this restaurant had good reviews and the food we like. We had Shaeem as our waitress ( Hope I spelt that right ? She's very pleasant and helpful. We chose the 2-4-1 tapas and cocktail menu on promotion during January. Everything came within good time and the variety on offer it tasted great and the cocktails she recommended were perfect !. We ate at 5pm on a Saturday and it was reasonably busy and lovely atmosphere with the latin music on in the background. We stayed after dinner to make the most of the happy hour they had one and a they even had a live band!
Got to say everything was perfect service,food,drinks astmosphere !! We are going back before we go home!

I had the early evening 2 courses for £10.95 and a half lite carafe of a good Chilean red wine.
I started with the albondigas which had a lovely intense with a deep flavoured rich, tomato sauce. For my main a had the Cuban cheeseburger which had a lovely moist, steak pattie with a good cheese topping.The fries were lovely and crisp and were accompanied by a great rum mayo which had a nice touch of heat.
The service was friendly and very efficient and it was great value with enjoyable food

The drinks kept on coming and even though we were 20 minutes late they didn't take it off our timeslot they just pushed it back. Would definitely recommend but the prosecco gave me a hangover from hell!!!
U. C.I am rating this on the staff quality alone. Came from Heathrow on the coldest day to find Cardiff shut down. We went in out of the cold and the girl there was amazing. Very welcoming and made us tea to warm up. Let me charge my phone to phone taxis. Will go back there purely because of that staff member.

Food is nothing special, a bit better than Chiquitos in the brewery quarter though not on par with las iguanas.

That's a good choice of music and on the weekends you have to pay to go in which is ok this place opens till very late and as a great mix of Ages at the Spar the price of drink and food is good value rearrange of shots and cocktails is an absolutely splendid if you ever looking for a good pub and place to go while in Cardiff would definitely recommend this when you would have a great evening and night enjoy
