G. W.What a great place to come and chill at! Not only did I eat some of my favourite Dim Sum and Noodles, I was able to play some retro games and enjoy their recurring Board Game group. Everyone is always super friendly and helpful.

H.This was perhaps the best day out I've had in a really long time. A great selection of games but in a soulful and intimate space. Had a much more casual and friendly atmosphere than other arcade bars I've been to. The food was great and very reasonably priced: Asian noodles and dumplings. Also really nice coffees plus a great selection of soft drinks, beers and cocktails. Can't wait to go again!
B. S.I visited Cardiff for the weekend and the Arcade Vaults was amazing. They have a PC suite that we played some left for dead on and tons of retro consoles to play on too. The food was excellent, and so was the cider! Staff where extremely friendly, and so were the other patrons. If I lived in the area I'd be here all the time.
There seems to be something for everyone, whether you just want a bite to eat, play some games from your past (or present!) with a beer, or grab some gaming merch for a friend.
It was awesome, can't recommend it enough 👍
A. Y.This is the best game cafe in Wales as far as I'm concerned, the staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Super friendly and super passionate about the work that they so. Not only are they helping foster the gaming community in Cardiff but I would say they are the epicentre of all things gaming in Cardiff! Truly a wonderful place. It was a nostalgic date night for us both because it was all the games we used to play in our youth. You can come and go as you please and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I really like this organisation and what they do for the local indie game development scene. Highly recommended!

Tournament Structure could have been better as I faced 1 person 3 times out of 3 games, and another 2 out of 3 in a 16 person tournament.

G.Ace set up. Decent coffee. The guy working there was really sound. My kids loved the games, upstairs they do D&D game sessions I think monthly. Can't fault it

A.Great find this one, if you want to show the kids what gaming was before FPS then this is great. Machines come with preloaded games, lots and lots. Amiga, BBC micro, sega, PS1 all sorts and all working. Plus they have a small cafe. We will be back.
S. R.Had absolute blast at Arcade Vaults! Big thank you to our host Chris as he catered for all our needs. I had rented out for a private hire for my fiancee's proposal party for around 30+ people.
We are big o'l nerds and this place is perfect! Three floors filled with board games (At request), video games and ample supply of booze at good prices!
My night considered of playing various multiplayer games and by far my favourites were classic Halo, Mario Kart, Smash Bro's' and my guilty pleasure Metal Slug 3!
There was many other options to play and you can request games to be played from there vast collection. Perfect for any video game buff!
On a final note, I will be back and especially for there new lunch time menu because it looks bangin.

H.Me and my friend went as first timers to the arcade vaults, I walked in to find a ps4s, pc etc they also had a bunch of retro games as I walked in. All staff were welcoming and very friendly. Definitely going again 5 stars 100% from me.
A. M.Great little arcade and games playing experience if you loved the 80s and 90s onwards. Plenty of classic machines well worth a visit. Only minor complaint is the controller's on some of the consoles are a bit worn.
