J. L. D.Visited with family for lunch. Food was lovely, very reasonable and a great choice of meals for all taste. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Grant served us and made out visit very enjoyable. Definitely recommend this pub!

R. B.We came across this pub while walking around on stay in Cardiff. Our usual pub was full. We had delicious. Meal of pork and leak sausages x 3 colcannon mash lots of it as well. Plus peas and gravy. Our friends had wraps with an excellent salad. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed there the evening. Only one minus the TVs were very loud. But we could still talk and enjoy ourselves. We will go again next year. Thank you

I thought I could imagine this becoming my new local. But as I walked closer to the bar I could smell and overpowering cleaning fluid smell coming from the toilets entrance which obviously didn't work because it was followed by the smell of Urine.
We stayed here for One, the staff were pleasant enough and the beer was decent but tbh I haven't been back since.

Always love coming here but unusually the music was very loud for an early Saturday afternoon whilst trying to have a catch up with a mate and it was also very warm! - too warm!
I. D.Went in to watch the Champions League final. Got a great table by the bar. Staff were excellent despite how busy it was. Food ordered was great. A very enjoyable Saturday evening /night.
M. V.Popped in here a few times for a quick drink and a sit down on my way to places. The staff are friendly. Drinks reasonably priced. Usually fairly quiet but I would expect it to be busy at peak times or if there was a match on. There are about 6/8 tables and chairs out the front.

Great food and drinks which kept us here most the evening and then when the live music started, we were hooked! Cannot praise the staff enough, it was busy yet the smile never left their faces! J. P.Great little pub in the heart of Cardiff. Awesome selection of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcholic) and good value too, especially the 2 for 1 cocktails! Live music on a Friday and Saturday night and a great place to watch sport too! The food is traditional British pub food and you get huge portions on the burgers and steaks, good number of veggie dishes (and even one vegan) and a kids menu...family and dog friendly through the day...so it covers literally all the pub bases you could ask for!!!
M. W.Unfortunately fell well below the usual high standards today, whilst I appreciate it was a busy day to bring out main meals while we were only just enjoying the sharing platter was disappointing. Attitude of lady tending the bar poor.
M. J.Excellent service and great food, the steak was cooked to perfection and was a really nice juicy lean cut, normally comes with chips but I asked for extra mushroom and tomato instead and they were very happy to accommodate me. Superb service, central venue and great pub food.
A. W.Have been coming here for some time now. It's a regular for a lunch time treat when working. Very dissapointed today to see my 'usual' - southern fried chicken sandwich - has been downgraded to a wrap, with no flexibility to have it as the usual sandwich instead. Thankfully I was able to change the chips for Sweet Potatoe fries. May have to rethink my 'go to' meal and place.

Only problem I found was the seating, there was only one table available which for some reason was right in front of a door to come in from the outside but wasn't the main entrance. It was on the same side as the main entrance so I have no idea why it wasn't locked! Kept getting barged, creepy guys coming right up behind me without me knowing and the cold kept coming in.

m. s.Popped in for food and a pint, day after Judgement day mid afternoon. Unfortunately no steaks left over. So left to find a pub that had some. Meals looked decent and very cheap, but attitude of shift manager was not good.
