C. J.A very nice pub with a very nice and friendly staff. Food was pretty good as well so I do recommend visiting if you are in the area👍
A. M.What a hidden gem, well worth a special visit here for lunch. The unassuming exterior leads to a wonderful warm and beautifully cared for and sympathetically updated interior resonant with traditions of years past. We stopped for lunch and had absolutely wonderful dishes from the day's specials menu. A pan fried brill on vegetable mash was absolutely perfect and the prawn linguine exceptional. Wonderful service too. What a find, will be back!
S. H.Stopped in after picking some strawberries. Had an amazing lamb shank, beef dinner and Glamorgan sausage dinner. Would definitely recommend. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great ambient music outside at just the right volume.
G. S.Really nice pub, food available, has the feeling of a cottagey type pub but is in fact quite large. Lots of regulars which shows how popular it is. Worth a visit, we stop there if we've been on a motorcycle trip round the vale

E.Hi me and our family had a love Saturday night reunion after the pandemic at the Red lion , a lovely welcome by Peter the Landlord was lovely we had a great night and the food was first-class with a great selection of wine and beers ,lovely atmosphere overall a great night , thanks to all the staff , we look forward to returning again ! .
