Booked a table on line (through the wifes Facebook) for 13.00. Arrived a bit early, drinks order taken then shown to our table.
3 types of roast meat and a nut roast to chose from. Then 5 or 6 deserts to chose from, all cold deserts I believe.
Food arrived hot and in good time. Enough veg fo us both. Waited for our food to "Go down" before ordering the second course.
All food was great, at a good price. Staff great and attentive. Will be going again soon.

W.If you are running a failing pub do yourself a favour and pop along to The Romilly. I hate to see pubs run down and close. Brains seem to be following Whitbread and have decided that their future lies in coffee shops. Fine...but many of their managed houses are looking distinctly run down . No such scene here .Clean pub, polite staff and good food. Being retired we eat out every fortnight, have visited quite a few establishments in the area around Cathedral Road and this has by leaps and bounds been the best yet.
H. B.The Romily has been a favourite local Brains pub of mine for many years. Serving the locals of Pontcanna & Canton, & an easy bus hop from further afield.
There's a quiz on Sunday nights, & their dartboard always gets plenty of action, from the darts team, & visitors alike.
They serve good food here & have a great selection of quality Welsh ales to quench the thirstiest of patrons.
In the Summer months, the rear beer garden is the perfect place to enjoy a drink.
This place feels like my second home with it's cosy, warm & welcoming ambience.
Highly recommended.

Un pub típic gal.lès, m'ha encantat, molt acollidor, un bon lloc per fer una bona cervesa amb tranquilitat, la gent que hi va, és tranquila i es respita un bon ambient. Molt recomenable.
