First time in Colchester and found this pub by chance whilst looking for a swift afternoon pint. A proper pub and good for a late afternoon beer. Went back in the evening and the place was rocking; great live music and brilliant atmosphere. If I lived locally then this is where I would live at weekends.

First time at this pub as not a Colchester local. A great pub, had live music on, pool table and great outside area to chill out in. Really great place to socialise and have a good evening. Will be back.

The best pub in Colchester town! Always something going on any day of the week, the bands they have on during the weekends are amazing! Such a lovely atmosphere Management and bar stuff are exceptional!!! If your looking for a place to go head down to the Bull🙌🏻🤍

Only pub I can find in Colchester with a pool table. It's also a proppa pub with live music and even a venue out back for gigs etc. I will be starting all my nights out at the Bull. Also bar staff are a good laugh and hard working. Oh and there was blue moon which is nice to start off with.

Kind and friendly staff and it is a lovely quiet space. We have and use the bull as a place to meet up for our aspergers group. It's so lovely and cosy and it's just a lovely atmosphere.
