Humber Hotel doesn't offer accommodation but is a historic, family-run pub dating back over 100 years. Eddie (publican), his wife Lynn, and grandson Brendon offer clientele both a family-friendly lounge and a traditional pub with pool table. Prices are very reasonable but make sure you bring cash as the minimum card order size is £5 with most beers (San Miguel, Carling, etc.) less than £5/pint or £2.50/half - e.g., at the date of this review (30 Jul, 2022), Carling is £1.90/half and San Miguel/half. The Humber Hotel is named after the historic Humber Car Manufacturing Factory, now a series of residential housing estates. The factory may be gone but you can see a lot of its history on the walls of the pub. Two of the most amazing photos are of General Montgomery who drove a Humber all the way to El Alamein. As well as reasonable prices for beer, The Humber boasts a full-size pool table, at only £1/game. Across the road from The Humber is Fruity Max, which offers delectable smoothies, waffles and other super-healthy fare - not forgetting ice cream - at customer-friendly prices. Fruity Max is open until midnight Sunday-Thursday; 2 a.m. Saturday/Sunday. Delivery is available. Two doors down from The Humber is Universal Market, a Kurdish-owned market open until midnight 7 days/week. It's cash-only but Universal has a reliable ATM in its front, street-facing storefront. Lastly, a Fascinating Fact: The Humber has a cellar in which, according to Eddie, customers sheltered on the night of The Coventry Blitz (10 November 1944)!

Absolutely fantastic pub. Cannot fault this place or the people who run and work a part of it in one way! I look forward to bringing my family (as a current university student) and always look forward to the beautiful (and very kindly priced!) Sunday roasts.

Excellent landlady and landlord, always keen to please. Good breakfasts. Regular sessions by Celtic, Folk, Rock band 'Rack and Ruin' may be Coventry's best free gig. This place is a hub for a changing, lively community.

A tired and worn, weary town pub. Slightly shabby and run down. One of the old concert hall lounge style pubs with a separate bar room. Good beers, reasonable prices, excellent sandwiches, welcoming staff.

I went along to help out a mate, turns out there's a really fun folk club every Thursday. The staff were dead helpful, even opening the fire doors to let me drag kit in. All in all a very nice place.

Cosy pub that has a lot of original features, one of the best preserved in Coventry. Peasant helpful staff. After Peugeot stop making cars in Coventry, the place has struggled perhaps, but it's come through and doing well.

If your looking for a traditional Sunday dinner The Humber has it. All cooked from fresh, great value and great 1920 surroundings. My son even said it was a nice dinner too 👍🏼

🧐SPOTTED 🧐 One of the best pubs in Coventry. Landlord and lady are some of the most genuine people you'll ever meet. I would be proud to have them as family members fantastic people all of there family and staff and the locals ain't to bad either ha ha. Food will be fantastic as normal when it starts again. Great beer great atmosphere. Also the pool table will be back when this coronavirus is over. 🤩 HOPEFULLY LIVE BANDS AND DJ WILL ALSO BE BACK SOON.🥳 A genuine warm family pub with large function room. You will not find better just outside the town centre. With carpark at rear and street parking also. Many a good night spent there. If only I lived as close as I used too. 😔
