S. S.This is a CRASH Corner!!! After all, there are so many accidents. These drivers dashing about one never knows, do one? Sometimes just one car hit another, is just a scratch but some of is serious. Injured in a car, personal injury or death. Something that happens by chance, without anyone intending or planning it, but somethimes because people are do mistake. Stop and Wait for the lamp is turn to green and please, don't go during red light!!! Don't risk your or others life!!! Keep drive carefully!!!
D. T.Never been before but stopped to have some food. The steak was one of the best I had ever had, it was melt in the mouth with a smokey grilled taste. The chef is a gem!
My husband tried some of the ales served by a super helpful and accomodating bar staff called Izzy.
If we are back that way again we would definitely return.
A. p.Great real ale pub lots of choice undergoing a change of management at the minute. No cooked food only cobs and crisps etc There's a outdoor spot for children . Clean and presentable inside plenty of comfy seating

M. V.I had the BBQ Pulled Pork Loaded Chips (£6.50). Food was generously portioned and tasted great.
Our cycling club was there for lunch and there was plenty of space to park our bikes along with spacious outdoor seating. Service was excellent and our food arrived in good time.
A. S.Good local pub with a decent food menu, the Chicken Coujons in Panko Breadcrumbs are a particular favorite. Decor is clean and eclectic. The Twice cooked chips are good but a bit to thick for me a bit thinner and they would be super fluffy inside. They do not have take out packaging which I think is a bit of a mistake these days. Overall nice local pub.
L. D.The beer is great and the staff are lovely but the heating is never on and it's utterly freezing. What a shame. It puts me off when I have to keep my gloves on inside.

S. E.Great little pub, just outside of town centre, usable car-park and good food too... disappointed that they have stopped selling Guinness though...
D. M.Very happy with the social distancing set up. Everyone being considerate. People queued for the bar but not too close together. Waitress was wearing a mask and didn't touch the plates. She brought them out on a tray and you took it off. Good value on the eat out to help out scheme. Sea bass didn't have much taste but the mint aero cheesecake made up for it.

Edit: Just a few tips since having the burger. Charging so much more to add cheese isn't reasonable.
Also it would be good to add to the menu that the chips are skin on.

The cute quant pub is a lovely location for a light bite, lunch, dinner or even a couple drinks.
The FOOD!!!! The food is made with love, absolutley unbelievable gorgeously cooked freah, locally sources and delicious!!! The puddings are equally as good.
The selection of drink choices means there is something for everyone!! Reasonably Priced and a really friendly atmosphere

V. C.Really enjoyed it here, my friend treated me out for some food and I would said the food was brilliant! All freshly made, nice chips. I had a burger and my friend had the steak, food didn't take ages to be prepared, it wasnt to busy, we went on a monday night.

P.Great pub......one of my faves in derby I travel to derby just for the gammon egg and chips which is incredible. Great beer titanic plum porter on which is awesome. Don't pass this pub go in it's worth it

Battered Halloumi, Gammon, Egg and Chips, and the Giant Yorkshire filled with Beef Stew and mash. Didn't leave a review straight away. No obvious reactions. C. T.Five Lamps is a great Derby pub. Good ambiance, comfy chairs, and a good selection of real beers always on. It can get busy, but despite this, it's quiet enough to talk at normal voice, and bar service is efficient, prompt, and courteous. Definitely worth a visit.
J. R.Nice for a beer but outrageous price for food. £7 for a burger isn't bad until you realise it's an extra £1.50 for cheese. Cheese! I could walk to the next door co-op and buy a whole block for that price. Unbelievable.

R. M.Came here to eat today and was very disappointed to see that the menu had changed. After telling people that the food here was lovely it made me sad. Instead of tucking into a nice meal of chicken and bacon salad I was forced to just have a pint. Saying that, the pint(Jaipur) was lovely as usual. Can't fault the beers one bit but bring back the full menu! Limited choice for light bites.
M. D.Used to be a decent pub but the standards have slipped recently. The service was slow and glasses weren't being collected. Plus they had the TV on in the corner showing BBC 1 and no music playing at all.

Biggest gripe is the use of slates to serve food on. They are useless, &. Much of your food ie. peas end up on the table or the floor. In future I will ask for meals on plates.
