The pub has a nice and relaxing atmosphere, serving well valued drinks and poured by smiley welcoming staff, Maisie and Charlotte (bar staff) are always up for some friendly banter and always have a positive outlook on things. Thank you kings corner for some amazing memories! Will be back time and time again

We came in late afternoon for some food and drinks. Food was cooked to perfection compliments to the chef. Service at the bar was wonderful, extremely helpful, accommodating and welcoming! Special shout out to Maisie, Christina and Declan. Staff were well informed about allergens, one member of our party had multiple allergies and the three were nothing but knowledgeable. We were also with a baby and we were immediately offered a high chair/ baby cutlery etc. food was serviced nice and quickly and there was no rush to finish our food.

Love the place, loved the atmosphere, loved the beer. My partner and I both had the lasagne, it was cooked/baked fine, but we both felt the taste was too bland. It didn't have enough Italian herbs & spices to make it taste Italiany.

Really is a 3 star pub, shocking they have a children's play area outside but won't serve food onit??? Plus I found the landlord very rude and unacceptable when asking a simple question about the menu it was very noticeable he was not coping with the demand and needs more staff.

Might seem werid for a small youtuber to leave a review, but I went here with my dad (Joe C) and the food was so delicious! (The sauce that came with the chicken was barbecue sauce- but I replaced it with Tomato.) Anyways, they served J20s, which is my favourite drink! Other than feeling a little lost on entering as no one was there to greet us (and we weren't sure of the rules around covid) an amazing experience, we booked for Christmas Day lunch and it was gorgeous, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the the food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. The music was in the background so we could chat easily (hate overpowering music) the staff buzzed around but weren't in your face and couldn't fault them. I will definitely recommend and be back next year!! Awesome job everyone ❤️

Kings Corner has been our local for over 20 years. We are always made to feel welcome by Sue, Simon and their team. The food and beer are always good value. We have spent many happy times with friends here. We can't recommend it more as an ideal pub for families.

Lovely meal here from their Christmas menu. Nothing was too much trouble! We had a very fussy child with us who wouldn’t eat a roast dinner so they let us order off the normal menu for him. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was hot and tasty and served promptly. Will be back!

Such a quaint #Greene King / Hungry Horse Pub, situated in 'Oakwood, Derby', on the way to #Mansfield'. It is a little off the beaten track but was well worth my very first visit their. Those who have previously tried these type of 'Pub / Restaurants', know that they do get busy so, it's best to book a table, in advance, via the #Greene King App', or, by calling directly. It is a family orientated pub, boasting a large, childrens play area. The only discrepancies with these types of pubs is, they mainly serve their meals with chips, &, only have 2 salads, on their menu however, they will substitute chips, for salad. It is not in a busy, built up area so, if it's serene you long for, try this place.

Burgers were nice but no salad or dressing on the side. Plenty of benches free to sit at and enjoy the sun in the play area which was great. The thing that vastly let it down was a ridiculous policy about not being able to eat I the children's area as it is 'not safe'. No good reason for this whatsoever and all the other customers there were complaining about this too.

We visit this pub on a regular basis as the food is of a very good standard, the burgers are very tasty and the mixed grill is well worth a try. There is a large car park with disabled spaces outside the main entrance, a patio area with plenty of tables for alfresco eating is available for those sunny days. The children are catered for with an outside climbing frame and a grass area to run around on.

Came here with my mum and sister I got the drinks two coffees and a coke, I didn't want any ice. When I was given my drink it was about 4 inches from the top of the glass I asked for it to be topped up and was told that because I didn't have any ice that is the designate amount even though it wasn't a full glass. The lady behind the bar was lovely and I know it wasn't her doing but I still think this is bad as I paid for a glass of coke not half. Meal was lovely and staff are always polite and lovely

A Superb 8oz Sirloin Steak with additional Peppercorn Sauce. Very friendly and smiling staff serving the food and top marks to the Chef and kitchen staff for cooking such amazing food on such a busy night. The Pedigree Beer is excellent which is a sign that the pumps and kegs are well looked after. Highly recommended pub if you're going out for a meal and drinks.

Brilliant, local pub and grub stop. Come here regularly because of the nice atmosphere, just for a drink at the bar, after work. The food is reasonably priced and there is plenty of room inside for groups. Good size car park and a kids play area around the back

Went as a family of three. They have recently removed the separate vegan menu. The staff said that everything that was in the separate menu was now in the full menu, but that isn't true. There is only one full vegan option as the two other options are cooked in the fryer with the meat products. The staff are not up to date with the menu either, my meal stated garlic bread but it didn't come out as they said it wasn't vegan yet it says VE on the menu. Other than this the food was ok, staff friendly enough and pleasant pub.

OMG vegetarian jackfruit mock pulled pork burger flippin Epic. What a great flavour, well seasoned something different from aubergines and courgettes, as that is what meat eating chefs think vegetarians eat! Good atmosphere, enough table side service, but a bit more smiling would go a long way. 😊

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I frequently take my grandma for lunch at Kings Corner. The beer, food and service is ALWAYS fantastic. Great choices on the menu including Vegan meals, I'd recommend the vegan lasagne and garlic bread. My grandma loves the chicken tikka masala and often states how no where else does it like kings corner. In fact, she'll start looking like a chicken tikka masala soon, shes had 3 already this week Heather is a great credit to the staff, always bubbly and smiling. And most importantly, the beer is always fantastic, in all the time I've come here, I've never had a bad pint.
