Family run outfit with a warm and carpeted function room. Those running it work hard to please their customers against a small ,visiting minority who seem to enjoy being messy and impolite. Please cut the staff Some slack.It's no easy ride being a publican.

Went into Bank for lunch. Very friendly and welcoming young lady...Laura. she was on her own but was in complete control of everything....bar, waitressing and very professional. The meal we had was presented very well and delicious.....even down to the peas!!!! Had a lovely chat with the Manager Ian who is also chef. Thank you both.

My grandson had his 21st birthday party in the function room which has its own entrance & toilets separate to the main bar. The landlord Ian & team provided the food which was very nice & the music was supplied by the pub DJ & he played a full range of music for all ages. A really good night was had by all guests. Well recommended.

Changed a lot since last went about 15yrs ago. Went to a private function, very well laid out & organised, only 2 things let it down was waiting at bar (1 bar person serving) quicker going to main bar. Other thing no toilets in function room as out of order.

Amazing service, although the bar has a step so isn't wheelchair accessible, the staff came down to me to take my order, and helped me pay. They also brought our drinks out to us. It was fantastic and they where so helpful with everything 😊

My daughter had her 21st party here. The food was lovely, the staff friendly and helpful. The room was perfect. Everyone commented how much they enjoyed it. Disco was brilliant. Nothing to complain about. Thank you very much!

Food was excellent! Good steak and great foot long hot - seriously nice! Service was decent and really friendly staff :) the thing that ruined it for us were (like some other reviews say) some of the people in there. Mostly friendly, nice folk but a couple of groups of younger men jeering, shouting and making so much noise that one couple moved away. It was quite an intimidating group which would put people off :( would be perfect to watch the footy and get rowdy type of crowd - it not what I expected. Again though... great food

This was my second visit and it was better than the first. Lovely function room and the staff were so helpful. The buffet was lovely as well with hot and cold foods..I'd definitely consider hiring the room for myself.

Fantastic venue, we actually had our daughters 1st birthday party in the back function room 10 years ago. I for one can see the transformation the place has under taken. As well as new management its all new furnishing, nice outdoor area, nicely decorated function room etc. The counter staff always very polite and welcome you with a smile

Not been in for years but looking for a room for a party. Saw Ian the manager then other day and he was so helpful. Popped up to show our son and have a pint. Lady on the bar was so helpful and offered ideas. Ian was also so helpful and going to book the party with a plan for a second one later in the year. Will update after a parties.

Amie Thompson - absolutely fantastic member of staff... My visit was amazing. I got told I had been lovely for coming & I told her it had been emotional! All staff lovely and polite! Would definitely recommend this place for all occasions. #stormtroopers

Nothing to complain about... the manager is friendly and efficient, the food is amazing, the beer deals are great and the pub is clean and bright and warm. This is our first visit and first impressions are 100% satisfied and will definitely be back :)

Have to say what great service, we went to have dinner at the bank bar unfortunately my wife hurt her leg before we managed to get there, so I telephoned and asked Mitch if we could some how order the food but take it away, nothing was to much trouble they cooked it perfectly and put it into sealable containers 2 starters 2 steak mains, very nice. That's the difference between average and great service. Thanks.

Fast service, excellent friendly staff. Fayre menu, beers etc. Clean tables and you can book in advance. Car park, and outside seating if that's your thing. However does not have a life sized millennium falcon for dad's to play in.

Decent function room with it's own bar, toilets and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Not bad, but I probably wouldn't go out of choice.

Best pub curries in the area. Plenty of food, and good value for money. The only downside is the smokers hanging around the front area, usually worse for wear and a few kids and tatoo's thrown in. Making it slightly intimidating. This pub in it's many guises always seems to suffer this - equalling it's dimise in the long run. Let's hope this version lasts. A bit dark inside. And a bit confusing on the food ordering side, waitress service, but have they seen you come in? Or do they know you want food?
