Amazing, unique sandwiches and more! We were not sure about the place when we walked in and appeared to be the only ones there. We were also not sure about the place when we saw the number of teenagers seemingly working there but when we opened the menu, we found countless interesting options. Sloppy Joe sandwiches and fries, all sorts of unique dishes and interesting cocktails. The sandwich was totally amazing. Despite first impressions, this place knows what they're doing. On top of the food, there is a casino which I didn't check out. Great location! Great food! I definitely recommend!

I have never been to a bar/restaurant in the heart ❤️ of Derby city like the Hideout. The food was delectable and a real treat to the pallet. Alfie the chef is a master food artist🎨, he is very comfortable in the kitchen and could magically concoct whatever tickle your fancy.

Really enjoy a quick drink and mid-week football. We had a lovely booth with a TV...Great touch. I was tempted by the biscoff dessert but missed out as the kitchen had just closed...maybe next time.

It's ok , bouncers seem reasonable when I popped out and wanted to get back in near closing time. Very large bar and needs alot to fill it. Felt very empty. Plenty of seating to sit down and good volume of bar staff that night.

Came for a friend's birthday meal. The manager was very pleasant and the staff were all friendly. My partner and I were pleased with the vegan options available, although confused why one of the pizzas was not marked as vegan despite having vegan cheese listed as a topping? We weren't sure if it was a print error so we went for the burger instead and a side of the BBQ cauliflower wings. The burger was great - a solid 10/10 as far as chain restaurant vegan burgers go! However the cauliflower wings were awful. The menu described them as 'cauliflower wings tossed in house BBQ sauce and sesame seeds'. What actually arrived were 10 very overcooked battered cauliflower florets with what I can only assume was one of the small catering packets of BBQ sauce drizzled over them. Definitely not tossed in sauce and no sesame seeds in sight. They were so, so dry we couldn't eat them. If they had been tossed in the sauce as described I imagine this would have solved the issue. Overall it was a pleasant experience but I was disappointed by the cauliflower wings.

Absolutely love this new venue! I was told the Covid safety rules on arrival, it’s nice to see a pub following guidelines and looking after their customers! Food was delicious and who doesn’t love 2-4-1 cocktails. The staff were lovely, so polite and friendly. Would highly recommend this pub and will 100% be visiting again

My girlfriend and I travelled to Derby for the weekend and after sampling all sort of food and drink venues, the Hideout really stood out, smashing food the one night and staff so friendly we had to go back, the door staff were exceptional and well organised, pleasant and comfortable atmosphere and could not fault a thing, two particular people we have to thank are Vera for such a pleasant evening and really making us feel welcome, she really went the extra mile and the table manager an Australian fella he was very friendly and even though he didn't seat us the second night there, that didn't stop him coming over to welcome us again, wouldn't hesitate to frequent this friendly venue again next time we're in Derby, thankyou to all the hideout staff, we love the place.

Hideout looks brilliant, since opening it has quickly become one of my favourite venues. The team can't do enough to help and I'm very impressed with the CV-19 safety precautions in place. The games room looks fab, and there are dozens of tvs, great for watching the football!

Visited on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised. The beer garden was a great place to pass the time and the food was spot on. Reccomend the burgers. They took the Covid situation seriously and made us feel safe. Was a fresh change compared to the poor attitude of other venues in Derby.
