This pub has just reopened this week. I have to say what outstanding service standards. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. A superb pint of Pedigree, so I had to have two. They're so dog friendly, they're giving treats on arrival. The music was played at the correct volume in the background , so you could hear one another speak. Just a really good feel about the place. Great little pub and being from Hereford it was great to see a Herefordshire cider on tap. Staff were very very friendly and the pub was absolutely full of character. The food menu looked great, wish we had the time to have eaten there. Definitely will be going back

Oh my, the best burger I have ever tasted. I've been to hundreds of pubs and eaten at all of them. None come close to the food here. Just amazing.

Lunch for 4 today. Nice cozy pub but had to sit close to the back door which was a bit chilly. The menu was acceptable but the specials board was far more interesting. The service was rather slow. The food was acceptable and was very home cooked in its style. Pricing was good and worth adding to the revisit list.

Friendly cosy and comfortable environment. The staff are attentive and don't bother you while eating and will make every endeavour to resolve anything you do take issue with, to ensure you enjoy your experience. Good pub grub!!

I don't tend to leave reviews unless I'm really impressed, but oh my god the food is seriously good here, well worth the price, which isn't much. I had trio sausages to change it up from the burgers I normally have, and I was far from disappointed recommend going with a mix of types. I just wish it was local to where I live. And that's the only thing that would make me deduct a star.

Although we don't live far away we have never visited so I phoned first to check types of food as my family consists of my husband who is gluten free and pescatarian, my son who is strict vegetarian, my youngest who is pescatarian and autistic so struggles with textures and tastes and me pescatarian. We didn't need to worry. Amazing menu and food, great service all round and lovely setting. Games available too so we played dominoes whilst waiting for the food which was not long. Definitely going back. Very impressed.

Food has always been good at each of my visits to the mason's. More expensive than the nags head, however from my experience the food at the mason's is always of a good standard.
