Reviews of Maple Tree
Y. D. C.Called for a meal after a busy shopping trip, so we were quite hungry. Sadly the meals are a bit small. Quality isn't bad, but you go away still hungry. We came home and had a bacon sandwich! Prices aren't bad, but we won't be going back anytime soon.
D. T.Previously we did not have a great experience at the Maple Tree, I contacted the manager and was invited back. I can say based on the meals and service we received on the 2nd visit is wow, and thanks to Jenny and all the staff who were lovely and looked after us so well. The food was great I had the steak pie, which is a proper pie, my daughter has a food allergy which is catered for with a bespoke menu. All round great stuff.
L. M.It's a nice atmosphere in this pub and the staff are friendly. Been and eaten a few times and the food has always been ok.
But we recently went on a Sunday for the first time and we were informed there was no food as they had stopped serving due to running out of food. They didnt even offer us like a small meal of their menu, not even a sandwich. We were there more than an hour before the end of service so there was plenty of time.
J. G.Excellent food but poor service, under staffed and no one told us. We got there for 12:30pm and ordered 2 starters and 4 mains, the mains didn't turn up til 2pm!
G. d.Nice, clean, good food. Gluten free options were available as normal in a Marston pub. (I always choose Marston's as my lass is GF.Bit if a confusing entrance as it is at the rear. All in all, really good and will return.
C. P. (.Service was fast and the food was excellent. Will be coming back again. Note - to order food, you need to order and pay at the to rather than there being taller service for ordering food. This works well.
