Nice cozy place. Friendly service. They had 2 cask real ales on when i visited with a friend. They even have an Atari/Amiga games console (which I didn't have time to play on)

Friendly staff, beer okay and somewhere to sit. It's the only pub in the centre of Thorne I would drink at.

Busy community pub, just off the centre of Thorne. Games area and a more comfortable lounge area, plus a conservatory, although all open plan. Very little parking at the pub and double yellow lines on the road, but plenty not far away. Plus a great selection of cask beers, possibly the best in Thorne.

Magician Elliot has kept his ear to the ground and at least one figure on the pulse in a dynamic industry called P.U.B. for two decades now. Keeps a pint of ale, better and cheaper then the flag ship pub of the said BREWERY that supplies his establishment. Check out Bolt Maker, 70 pence lower then the town it was brewed in 70 miles away. Keep the magic coming Brov. No wounder house building and increasing real estate PRICES are occouring in Thorne, your my hero Ell. Just please don't blow the secret formula and start serving food.

It's a lovely cosy pub and has a similar feel. Plenty of room outside so great for summer. I'd say over priced though hence 4 stars.

Great place for a craft beer and to watch a match . Particularly great in the Summer time with lovely outside seating for all the family . Main features here are great beers and a superb landlord who obviously puts all his customers first. Don't come here for a meal this is a pub a proper pub. Sadly there are few left. How does it survive you might ask ? Because it's obvious that they all want you to come again time after time .

If you love a good pint of Guinness then this is the pub for you, The Coors is a lovely sooth pint too. Traditional English pub with open fireplace on a cold winters night, friendly staff, customers are friendly too.
