M. A.Walked in a stranger and it was like I'd come home. Friendly punters (not many in but I was acknowledged by some of those that were) and felt immediately in a comfortable place. Barmaid is very pleasant (she's also the owner). I found my new "local"!

Pub has a great community attached with a warm welcom to new faces. They always have something going on, usually accompanied by complimentary, great tasting grub - from a buffet spread to hearty stovies.
With the brand new draft poring system now in place, the lager is cool & refreshing. Great pint of Guinness available on draft, with a range of ciders & beer on tap too.

M. D.What you'd expect from a boozer that's been around for years..in need of a lick of paint and maybe some re-decor but folk behind bar seem very friendly and offers a variety of pub drinks ales/spirits!
W. 4.Stayed hotel close by, Rab the landlord welcomed us two English skinheads , loved the bar,the people and the banter, the landlord even gave us a bottle of whisky from the Scottish houses of parliament free.been back a few times and messy on all occasions 11/10 marks
