Good spot to watch live sport. Was helped greatly by a member of staff who let our group have the last table after a reservation cancelled. Fast service, good selection at the bar and the food looked decent. A little pricey and the first pint we had was flat as a pancake, hence 4/5

Situated by the station. I had the standard burger. It was lovely and well cooked. The burger was a good size and plenty of chips. Also had a double g&t. Mon to Thurs they have offers. A double g&t was £5. Was sorry that i didn't go back and try another burger. The desserts looked lovely. The toilets were very clean. Plenty of tvs to watch the sport.

We came to Edinburgh for our 2 year anniversary and I surprised my partner with a 'sports bar' to watch the Wales V Belarus match. It's not just a sports bar!!! Good sports bar. I wouldn't pop in if you are just looking to get a nice drink somewhere central (as there are nicer pubs/bars in the area) but it's a great place to watch sport. Food was mediocre, but there are LOTS of TVs so you have a good view of the game no matter where you sit. They tend to play NFL games, so an especially good place to go to watch American football

Great place to watch Sport with loads of TVs so can see from wherever you are sat. Very cheap double spirits for a bar so close to city centre. Didn't try the food but will do next time because the Burgers looked amazing

Nice bar with a good atmosphere a short walk from Edinburgh Waverley and Princes Street. Lots of screens so if you are going to watch sport you won't be disappointed. Decent food and it is nice and clean through out.

For a bar of this nature it's too small. Went on a stag for a 12.30 match and it was rammed. You can book one of the few bench tables with a deposit that goes towards a tab for your drinks. The burgers are good, although I didn't get the one I think I ordered, but maybe the bar lady didn't hear me properly through the mask they force u to wear when ordering. It's only a small kitchen, but I think they should also offer a choice of steaks as well. I was on the Guiness and the Czech lager, which were both good. Spent 5 hours in there with a party that initially consisted of 15 of us, so it couldn't have been that bad!

Never being here b4 well never being to Edinburgh either. Was bitterly cold. We had a great time. My friends phone battery almost died. We had a problem with our train tickets on the way up from Glasgow so needed her phone to prove we had paid for them.The lady in the pub offered to charge her phone. We had several drinks and loved the pub.

Came in to watch the football on Saturday, atmosphere was really good, the lady that originally came over to us was friendly but she advised that we may be asked to move from the booth if a bigger group comes in (which is fair enough there were only 2 of us), Half time came around, both myself and my mate left our jacket, hotel key card and beers on the table to go out for a cigarette, we returned and our drinks had beer poured away, when questioned why the server wasn’t even apologetic, didn’t say sorry and just said ‘well you’re not getting a full pint you can half half’ and brought me over a little half pint. He behaved like a patronising little child. The venue was 10/10 great place, great atmosphere, great location but I’m sorry your 1 member of staff knocked your score down some.

Bit of a mixed bag here, probably works well as a sports bar, but only had US football on, so was a bit flat. Young Aussie guy on the bar was very friendly and chatty. Serves food also, but didnt sample. Close to station and castle, not too pricey

Felt it was a very effective way to book to a table for a sports event (with access to a screen). It was a fair system; simply pay a deposit towards seats on a table and be able to redeem this against spends whilst you're there. Great view and cosy atmosphere though the food and drink quality coud defininetly be better. It was VFM and convinient but for us didn't have't the wow factor. Maybe the oil needed changing and or more seasoning of the food before sendinng it? Enquired on the phone with regards to the drinks selection which was advised was 'endless', not the case but sufficient for our requirements. Ordered a glass of Red during the sitting, and poor knoledge was shown. I did observe thaat there was a lot of standing of people standinng around who were seemingly waiting for the hotel check-in next door. (A lot of waiting and queueing.)

Not really a review of Belushi's but its new neighbour Jake's Place. I went here quite hungover on a Saturday during the six nations and it was really nice. Quite small but managed to get a seat perfectly tucked in the corner just out the way of the rugby. I was glad to see they have a wide range of thistly cross ciders and stuck to one of them. They have a great range of beers and different craft ones on draft weekly to try. I also had food, heading for the burger and my friend went for the pulled pork sub, both were great and not over priced. For two alcoholic drinks, two sodas and two meals it was around £30 which is really good for the location, quality and atmosphere. Guy on the bar was a tad overrun by customers but kept his cool and made everyone feel welcome.

This is a review of Jake's Place which is part of Belushi's. I'm guessing I was unlucky the night that I went to Jake's Place as every other review seems to rave about this place. They have a large menu of American beers, however, the night I was there the first four I asked for weren't in stock. The burger I had to eat was OK but I can strongly recommend the Sweet Potato chips which were, for me, the highlight of the visit. I'll probably go again to see if I was just unlucky on my visit but won't be particularly rushing back.
