Wasn't the happiest chappy when I came into the restaurant today, just had a flight home cancelled but Lauren (my server) was most helpful and I really felt she emphasised with my situation. Very friendly and the food was quite tasty! A great place to hangout while waiting on a flight and again excellent service. Well done Lauren on an excellent customer experience in a trying situation!

Good, quick, friendly service by Jamie, who was very patient when dealing with rather odd requests, like people trying to order off menu (Can you make me a soup? How about an omelette?) and wanting customised receipts. Guinness was good. Food is basic, menu could do with a bit of work. Still, very pleasant for a busy airport pub

Had a meal and drinks here while dropping my boyfriend off for his flight. Staff were friendly and the food arrived quickly, even though it was quite busy. We both had burgers and they were very good. The place was comfortable and felt quiet despite the location next to the security entrance.

These places will always be a bit soulless but for an awkwardly positioned bar in an airport you can do much much worse! Place was tidy with super-friendly staff who were helpful and very professional. Food looked pretty decent and the pints aren’t badly priced either

Stopped in on the 26th of January. Made a 3 hours fly by. The bartender Jamie was exceptionally friendly, quick with a joke and made great recommendations. Cannot commend him enough.

I had a amazing experience at bridge and castle bar. I was served at the bar by Daniel who was polite and efficient. Kian brought me our tasty food and was helpful and tended to put needs. Anne created a welcoming atmosphere from the get go. All in all a brilliant experience and will be back !!!

Served by Lauren today, explained the lack of items quickly, offered alternative food items to compensate for limited range. Well looked after throughout, Lauren was cheery and positive whilst serving and clearing a table of 4, a very enjoyable dining experience. Would happily re visit this establishment.

My toast with avocado/ poached eggs arrived quickly, looked and tasted delicious. Plus Jamie and Daniel delivered an excellent customer service: they were very friendly, polite and quick. The bar has also a nice ambience with dim light that helps to relax.

The cheese and bacon beef burguer was incredible, the burguer sauce was so tasty and beef spectacular. For just 3 more pounds you could add a brownie and vanilla ice cream. Very calm place and great for working too. Staff were welcoming and very polite.

The guys behind the bar are a little confusing about who is doing what. But the drinks are good. The nachos with pulled pork are really good. The guy with the red beard is very nice, came over to talk about the whiskey because I ordered a Jameson. A very nice guy

I was recommended to have a breakfast here on my break. The staff were lovely especially Lauren. However the food was really disappointing. I ordered the classic breakfast. First off there were no sausages of any kind, so was offered an extra slice of bacon and toast instead. Breakfast arrived and the egg was cold, bacon mildly warm, and the tattie scones cold. They were not even fried, just baked and could still taste raw potatoes. Was offered a new egg and tattie scones. Still couldn't eat it as it was still uncooked as far as I was concerned. So disheartening as my colleagues had suggested this. Even with my staff discount I don't think this breakfast is worth the money, as it stands ☹

We arrived at EDI well before check-in for our flight, hungry and in need of tea and coffee. Luckily, we came upon this Bridge&Castle unit. Mila and Julie were fantastic, served up a warm welcome and a fresh breakfast! Will plan to come here again the next time we pass through!

Cracking wee place to have a bite to eat or a drink in the airport. The team are kind and willing to help, plus the food is really quite tasty. Newly opened and so a few things could be sharpened up but that’ll come with time. As for the people writing reviews complaining about the prices?! It’s an airport, of course there’s a markup! This isn’t the cheapest place in town, but it’s probably one of the best value spots on the airport. One thing that could be improved? Get some local beers in!

I phased by the medics attending to a poor soul on his way to the sunshine, promotes them to superstars!! Only comment/help/I can offer. I hate wee sachets!! I know the logic but it’s so cheep and mucks up your hands! There needs to be a wee bin for the detritus of sauce sachets. Get the salts and peppers back on the tables, post covid laziness is laziness! Thank you for your wonderful help, food & coffeee!! Urn bring wasn’t too shabby!! Stuart
