Reviews of Clark's Bar
A. C.
A lovely pub with friendly service and great bacon rolls.
A. B.
Not been before as it always used to seem like a place you had to belong and had heard it was not the nicest place to go for a relaxing drink. Not sure if it has been renovated recently but it is quite stylish and quirky. Been a bar for 125 years so lots of nice Victorian features but modernised well. Good range of beers including local craft ales.

Out on the lash, we had a big time at Clark’s. If you are looking for the traditional public house experience, drop by for a pint. Not much has changed since 1899, including some of the clientele…
S. M.
Brilliant wee "old fashioned" boozer. Great mix of locals and passing trade. Decent beers and a lovely atmosphere. Give it a go if you're in the area.
P. C.
Not the plushest bar in the world but extremely friendly, comfortable traditional pub with great service.
E. S.
Served a good half of Guinness & friendly staff. Great old fashioned pub & interior.

Great little pub with beautiful interior. Great Atmosphere And Exceptional Service from all bar staff( more pubs need to come here to take lessons). And one of the Best Pints of Guinness in Edinburgh Also Great Selection of Malt Whiskeys. What Real Locals should be like

With a very friendly and wholesome atmosphere, this pub is a must visit. The prices are reasonable for the area as well.

Under new management. The old place was a little wanting in the hygiene and card processing departments. All good to go now, decent selection of reds, pleasant staff, and when it was on, the rugby shown. I approve. Thanks Matt & co.
B. M.
Quaint bar with a great crowd, friendly landlord and a wide selection of spirits
R. H.
One of Edinburgh's history gem pubs, recently reopened after a bit of a pair job, but all the character remains. Very chatty barerson who managed to deal with a busy crowd with a great smile and lively humour. Nice selection of the big named beers and some local draft lines, sadly no tea or coffee.
F. L.
A very friendly bar in the neighborhood!
M. A.
A proper old fashioned pub serving good Beer. All it needs is a Dog and a Piano 🙂
P. G.
Good place for a convivial pint or two. Staff excellent.

What a surprising delicacy! Who would have thought that haggis Pakora with mustard sauce could be so tasty?!
The ox cheek on crispy polenta with a teeny fried quails egg (£6) deserved Michelin star. The ale was well kept too. What a good place to eat and drink!
c.
Amazing staff, quiet place with a fine selection of beers, whiskey and gin.
J. M.
Just stopped for an impromptu pint after a dog walk, ended up having 3 bar snacks all of which were delicious and well priced. Welcoming and friendly staff, will definitely be back.

Nicely renovated (July 19), original Edinburgh maroon Victorian pub. Some Cask ales and the usual Tennants and Guinness, etc. New owners have brought it some vibrancy and energy.

A great old fashioned no nonsense bar with excellent staff in smart aprons and a great pint. Saw some dodgy football on TV but what do you expect early season
C. R.
Proper old pub with a few screens for watching sport. Shame they ran out of pies on Saturday, I was hungry and they sounded good. They have daily papers so it's good spot for hiding in the corner with a paper and a pint.
D. M.
Warm traditional bar with good real ales and house wines. Well managed. Hassle free. Plus dog friendly!
R. D.

(Translated) A good place to knock out the Innis and Gunn where one of the many wisky offered. The manager and the bartender are super cool. There are screens to watch football or rugby but here priority rock'n'roll sound with a playlist really cool and not too loud in terms of volume. In the late afternoon it fills a lot and there is a good atmosphere very friendly.
