Reviews of Jinglin' Geordie Bar - Beer Garden
K. M.
Nice little pub if you can find it ( not too hard)
Sky sports , great music in background. Decent prices and good choice.
N. C.
Great pub, friendly staff, what's else to say, would definitely go back.
J. H.
Proper pub in the centre of Edinburgh. Nice change to the pubs full of tourists and actually had some real locals in. Felt and smelt like a real boozer. Well kept beer at good prices. Will definitely be returning in future
B. C.
Small pub with good prices . Off the main the
Route beer garden with no sun

Its like steppin back in time
Old school pub. Good selection of drinks go for a drink and banter.....
c. m.
Excellant pub and the staff make you feel so welcome, especially George.
M. L.
Super little pub. A real hidden gem just down one of the many little side streets of Edinburgh. Friendly staff. Well worth checking out.
N. H.
Hidden gem always worth a visit when in Edinburgh, good beer and company. I’m not sure the beer garden has many plants.
R. D.
Great wee pub, a proper pub with proper beer and proper seats at the bar and everything. Love it.
D. B.
Brilliant bar and its in such a brilliant location near the train station. The drink choices are decent and the bar feels really snug and cozy. The decor is proper old style which is what I like. The bar lady that served me was both friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come here again.
M.
Nice old pub tucked down an Alley. 3 real ales on of a good quality. This place and the Royal Oak are a must if you like a slightly off the mile pub. Eastern European bar lady was friendly, very easy on the eye and was happy to change my first pint which was the bottom of the barrel.

I have been here many times, a great starting point with friends for an evening out. One of the best places to have a great city drink. I am fast becoming a regular and can happily say this place is clean, has very friendly staff and a really great place ! A hidden gem.
J. K.
Neat pub with a cool patio out back. Just off the Royal Mile, but with a much more “local” feeing... with prices to match.
Edit: Confirmed the local feeling by drinking and chatting with some Edinburgh residents for several hours. The pub was great, the company fantastic. Had a 10/10 great night here.

Always my last call every time I visit Edinburgh before I drop down to Waverley station for the train home, always a decent pint
P. H.
Old pub off the beaten track. Good local beers. Polite bar staff who let us taste the beers and even offered to top up my wife's pint after she spilled some 😀
K. H.
Smell as like old fashioned sweets or pic n mix, but lovely pub, slightly expensive but good for a quite pint and sky football on if interested, good selection of McCoys crisps as well.
D. M.
Nice enough bar smoking area out the back, just expensive you couldn't afford to drink here as your local!
A. G.
Love this bar. Traditional, no nonsense boozer in centre of Edinburgh
P. B.
Just to have a pint in a haunt of Rebus.

Good old pub between the station and Cockburn street. Closed at the moment because of this pandemic but is on the list for a visit.
E. W.
Perfect pub if you want a pub. Only downside was the slow server who was more interested in gossip than service.
However, certainly worth the wait 👍
S. N.
Nice quiet place a bit off the beaten path
A. P.
Good stop off point on your way back to the train station or when you've first got into city. Nice traditional pub, speedy staff.
i. C.

It's small of course, but don't miss it - it's not among my top favourites in the city but it's absolutely worth a visit from time to time.
R. M.
Always nip in for a drink if early for a train down South. Better than Waverley Station bar by far.

(Translated) This pub is located near Edinburgh Train Station. The pub is located in a narrow alleyway from the station to the old town and is a great place to get a feel for the area. The Scottish people drinking beer and talking with friends in the pub made me feel like a part of them. You may feel like you're located in a back alley, but you're more likely to be in that place. The pub also has a wide variety of beers available for you to choose from. There are many rainy days and bad weather, so it's an experience to stop by the pub and stop watching beer while drinking beer. If you're looking for a Scottish pub, this is a great place to visit. Located near the station, it's a great place to relax and have a beer in time for your train. Staff gave in response to one person only eotneunde, kindly gave greet guests, even when the math, wait until it slowly to match the kind of money.

(Translated) Our favorite pub in Edinburgh
Located in a narrow lane, the pub is inconspicuous. The range of drinks is also clear, but if you go to the smoking area, you get an idea of old Edinburgh
It's a tiny inner courtyard, partly covered, partly open to the sky. The seat cushions have seen better days and the walls of the other houses are very close!
Anything but a chic in-location, but after the second or third visit you will be recognized again - and you will get into conversation with very nice locals very quickly

Unser Stamm-Pub in Edinburgh
