Reviews of Malt Shovel Inn
H. C.
My favourite pub to wait for the train in. Typical belhaven menu with nice pubby character and handy for Waverley station. Nice range of seating in a few rooms. Not cheap but normal for Edinburgh.
K. H.
This pub has been here forever and it is doing the same as it always has- serve good beer, hearty food and give a warm welcome. It's only a short walk from the Royal Mile so tourists are frequent and they keep those with kids away from the saloon - so enjoy a pint, a bit of peace and quiet and then maybe a second.
D. S.
Visited twice during a short break in Edinburgh; excellent on both occasions.
Every member of staff made us feel welcome; food was top quality.
No hesitation in returning on a future visit.
Thank you.
J. B.
Nice pub, but very busy, we were lucky enough to get a seat outside, it was cold but dry. It would be better to book in advance if you want to be inside, huge selection of beers, and as you would expect by the name an abundance of spirit's.. excellent selection of malt whisky, prices are typically what you would expect from a city centre pub in Edinburgh.. service was good staff friendly nice place to stop for a refreshing drink.
j.
Came here today with a friend and it was really nice. The staff were friendly and the Covid set up very good - even in the bathrooms!’
I had the Balmoral burger and my friend had the salad with halloumi. It was incredibly filling and well priced - also tasted delicious as well. Would recommend.
J. G.
Service was excellent as was the food. Large portions and freshly made. Would definitely go back
B. T.
Lovely pub, food was good but cold in places. Can't fault the staff's service, they couldn't have been more helpful
j.
The food was nice, the place was cozy and comfortable and staff were friendly. Shoutout to Hannah who made sure I had everything I needed even she was running back and forth to cater others.

Food was good! A great pub but the waitress was very unfriendly. Fortunely there was another man he was very kind. When you eat in the weekend in a restaurant you better reservate a table otherwise theres no table. Fish and chips was delicicous here
S. S.
This was OK, I used to go all the time as it used to be the bar to go but now it seems to me a slight tourist place but it is middle if town.
Not overly great service the girl working the floor was not very attentive and I tried to contact her quite a few times and at least on time she saw me and totally blanked me.
Apart from that it was OK but I feel I will never go back, plenty other places to go.
Beer was fine food was none to bad.
Thanks.
E. C.
Came here for dinner during a trip up to Edinburgh. Food was lovely and came quickly. Staff were also very friendly and welcoming!
H. W.
Great beer and friendly staff, their haggis fritters in whisky sauce was divine!
S. B.
Staff were very friendly however they didn't have some of the food options we ordered, we then ordered and a member of staff came to let us know they had ran out of that also. The food we received was brilliant and the place was very clean and tidy.
M. R.
Great little place. We decided to have fish and chips here. It’s was huge and pretty good. The beer was excellent. The prices were very reasonable. Best part was the atmosphere. In a corner, there were three locals having a spirited debate. At some point, the bar broke into a song. Good times here.
A. D.
Typical pub.
Very nice and friendly staff.
Good proposal of dishes and beers.
They manage very well the security rules against Covid-19.
Ther's tables on the outside, but certainly the indoor is nicer.
Well done guys, keep on this way!
P. H.
Nice place, grub till mid late evening & nice beers & ciders. We all liked it 🍻
L. P.
Well poured Guinness and a very festive pub just off the Royal Mile. A good liquid pit stop!
j. S.
Cosy, comfortable and friendly pub with great service. Had a nice meal and will visit again.
M. A. W.
Chips and beer, what's not to like? Old pub, busy but with a good atmosphere. Visited mid afternoon
V. P.
Had a great day in Edinburgh, we had drinks and food in the malt shovel ,the atmosphere was great ,very busy,so cosy on what was an icy cold night,we both had different meals from a great menu, great service, lovely staff, didn't take too long and food was delicious not overly priced (for our capital city)I would highly recommend.

Very mixed review so bare with me : greeted by a young lady which explained the rules of the COVID and the one way system to which we as customers comply too. However the rules seem to not apply to the chefs who walk where ever they want on the route out to have a smoke over the road which you can smell on them when they walk past you.
Moving onto the food, very nice I must say however the Gammon either needs more time on the grill OR needs to be cut in more thinner portions as it was the most chewy gammon I’ve ever had. Also perhaps a nice touch would be to hand out steak knifes with the gammon or steak dishes. It is unbelievably difficult with a standard dinner knife.
With this being said, I WOULD still recommend eating here and giving them a go.
I go all over the country eating out and reviewing so I only give my most upfront honesty.
e. j.
Smashing fish and chips and scampi oh and not forgetting sticky toffee pudding with ice cream
k. D.
Friendly and welcoming pub, good selection of beers and gins. Food looked good although we didn't eat on this occasion.
P. D.
Nice inn with lovely bar. Food is good and not so pricy. Good spot to refresh if you´re traveling.
J. P.
The staff was awesome. Fish and chips were okay. The beef traditional pie was really good
L. N.
very friendly service, loved the lentin soup, overall just basic pub food; would definitely go again
M. G.
We liked this pub, particularly because it was not crowded and they had good covid measures in place like insisting you had a table before ordering.
H. P.
The best fish and chips in town! Staff were absolutely friendly and the place has a very warm and open atmosphere
B. W.
I love it here. Amazing friendly staff and fantastic pub food.
m. T.
Great pub and we were well looked after by the staff..The drinks flowed...
H. L. G.
Great spot for a drink & food. Atmosphere was fun with an awesome music selection (finally no pop music in the background) nice boith right on the streetview and awesome service. Great personalities! They even have Tito's for my Vodka/Sodas!
G. O.
Fairly traditional no frills pub with pub grub. Interesting layout, great lication
A. C.
Great night live music locals and what a great atmosphere 👏 👌 👍
I. T.
Not too busy, not all beer's available which was a pity, but still get a decent pint
E. M.
The Malt Shovel Edinburgh arrived on the first night walking up to the Ibis Hotel we saw a Irish Flag in the window of The Malt Shovel and we're hungry so as you do we headed in for a bite to eat. Went to the Bar we were met with SMILES and given a warm welcome. I asked the barman had he sell Guinness he said yes so we ordered food and Guinness. Didn't wait to long on the food good price and we're full leaving the Malt Shovel. The Guinness was well good enough bit I suppose not the same as the pint in Ireland but came close. The staff were very nice and the Malt Shovel was cosy and had a good atmosphere would recommend to all enjoy. Just took of a point for the Guinness not the Malt Shovel fault don't think the Guinness is a good traveller lol.
N. W.
Little bit pricey and several of their headline menu items were not available, however food hot and fresh and a lovely pint
J. m. m.
Excellent pub to have a relaxing meal and drink with friendly staff and a great atmosphere.
S. A.
Nice ambience, nice a cosy place. Good selection of beers
B. J.
Good location close to the Royal Mile, plenty of seating inside, and a nice selection of ales and lagers.
M.
The staff were amazing, nothing was too much bother and boy did they make us laugh. Food was brilliant would highly recommend
E. s.
Very much your standard green king affair, but not that pricey given the location
S. P.
Bit of a limited choice of beer night we were in, but staff very friendly.
M. N.
Nice place, friendly staff fitted in walk in guests on NYE, no water in the gents makes it ok if not for that woukd be 4 ☆
K. G.
Mix up with the drinks and measurements. Food was OK. Staff were friendly, and it was busy
S. R.
Good traditional pub tucked away in Edinburgh. Clean friendly and serves a great selection of different ales
C. H.
Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. Nice place to chill on a Sunday afternoon. 👍❤😀
D. H.
Lovely place to visit. Nice vibe, great food and friendly service!
c. a.
If you are looking for a classic Scottish pub for a good beer then this is a good option. I had the feeling of a neighbourhood pub with very friendly staff and people. Good relaxed atmosphere in the busy center of Edinburgh.
M. H.
Very nice place very friendly in there. Good beer and food
S. J.
Nice place, sat outside and had cool pint.
S. C.
Very good, friendly staff, food looked amazing.
O. S.
Very good pub. Friendly and delicous.
C. M.
The service was great with friendly staff and the cider is to die for. The sausage and mash was ok but could have been a lot better as the mash potato was hard and obviously instant, hence only 4 stars.
G. R.
Great service good beer and excellent fish and chips
C. E.
Absolutely great pub, very safe, they have a elbow operated sign for the washrooms which is genius and the food is really tasty. The staff were super friendly and chatty and the pub is in the thick of the city but felt very peaceful on the afternoon we stopped in. They have a good selection of rums too!
J. C.
Food was excellent but as bit pricey.
G. G.
Nice pub with classic pub food ( with Vegetarian options) and friendly staff.
I had an ipa with the fried halloumi which was pretty nice and filling.
H. S.
I'm always enjoying cheese maccheroni here when I'm in town. Only one time the portion was too small, smaller than usual. But the exception. Good service and nice staff.
S. M.
Great beer, good service, spacious, comfortable
M. J.
Amazing food. Good place for a pint and a meal. Stopped here because it was near our hotel. Made a point to go here more than once. Worth the trek to check out.
B. 1.
Staff absolutely brilliant they make this place, expensive drinks only downside
D. Q.
Great pub. Good selection of beers.
G. B.
Bar staff are fantastic, just a pity it was close to closing time when we arrived as would have liked to have spent more time in the bar.
Had to edit this as I meant to click 5 stars , not 4, so now rectified.
G. A.
Lovely place to pop in for a fish and chips. Enjoyed the space.
J. H.
An established pub with a long history. A cosy setting with a great selection of beers, real ale bottles and spirits. Food quality was excellent too
A. B.
Really nice experience, good service, I will be back for sure
k. p.
Great food and atmosphere, staff very nice
C. G.
Great pub, staff are very friendly.
B. B.
Just a pub that has nothing special I found it quite expensive.
P. R.
Nice to be able to find a 'dry' place to have drink in a rain drenched Edinburgh. 👍🍺
G. S.
Fish and chips! Beyond wonderful- light, crispy, fresh with the sweetest peas on the side. Mark and Liz are so gracious and accommodating.
J. E.
Great food and beers! Cozy place to have your drink and have a nice chat. Reasonable prices
C. C.
A round of drinks for my mates was surprisingly inexpensive to what we were expecting it to be. Had a good time, and the girl who served us with blonde hair was very friendly too!
K. S.
Been there for a drink. Very nice staff and comfortable atmosphere
A. A.
Decent food, great 🍻 though some table cleaning may be improved
A. F.
Great pub to sit outside and watch the street performances of the Fringe Festival. Don't think you are safe sitting watching from the pub though, you are still a target hahaha. The beer was good and fairly priced. The staff are friendly and there is a good atmosphere here. Although we didn't eat, the food looked amazing and the fish and chips portion was massive! Definitely worth a stop of you are passing by
A. L.
Great pub, with an excellent atmosphere.
C. M.
The price is worth it. I've never had a Scotch Egg this good before. The staff were lovely. And the food, holy moly the food...
c. c.
Always good. Nice staff, good beer and pub grub what's not to like
L. B.
Good food. Good music. Good ciders. Scotland spirit ❤️
A. P.
Great pub with lovely staff and a lovely atmosphere. Food is good quality pub food
K.
My order got mixed up meaning I had to wait 20 minutes for my food while my friend was eating. The manager was great though, and gave us a generous deal to compensate for this. It's great to see pubs like this with vegan options, and the vegan fish and chips was really tasty. My friend really enjoyed her food as well, would recommend.
L. G.
I went here back in early 2016 with a friend while abroad. I have returned now in 2019 and the service is exactly the same; amazing. While the food looks a little different, it still tastes as good as it did 3 years ago. The staff, while I can't remember if they are the same, are still as friendly as they were. I highly suggest this cozy bar/pub for anyone who wants tasty food and great service.
C.
Brilliant food and brilliant service. My little dog was also allowed inside and made more than welcome while we ate our food 😁
A. M.
This is a great edinburgh pub it has both local and tourist punters. The staff are extremely attentive and caring. Our dinners were on the house after we had to cancel Christmas lunch due to an accident.
The good is good pub grub. The fish was succulent and the steak pie was awesome, finished with a sticky toffee pudding to die for!
Thanks again for your kind gesture. We will be back!
C. R.
First time in. Lovely place. Very nice folks.Might eat next time as the Greene King places have great food.
C. M.
Food is not their strong suit (takes very long) but the atmosphere is very nice and cozy ! Classic British pub. Great to have a drink (or 10) with friends. Also, location could not be better. I personally really like this place.
N. K.
I visited Edinburgh over New Year's where we ended up in the Malt Shovel Inn on one of our first days there.
We immediately loved the atmosphere and the very polite staff. Even though we wanted to explore the city, we came back multiple times to eat here.
The food we had was extremely delicious. The fish and chips was very good and I had one of the best burgers I've ever tasted in my life.
We did have to wait a while for our food, but that was understandable, as it was extremely busy over the holidays. The very hospitable staff also made up for any inconveniences.
They had a variety of beers to choose from and we found that the staff were more than happy to help us decide which beer we wanted.
They were even helpful in deciding which non-alcoholic drinks we could choose.
All in all a very enjoyable experience which I highly recommend.
J. H.
Their fish & chips is famous, and with good reason. Excellent selection of drinks. Lovely vibe with a good mixed crowd. You're lucky to get a seat during the Fringe but any potential wait is worth it!
G. “. L.
Excellent food and great range of ales, friendly helpful staff.
R. G.
A quiet evening midweek to catch up with friends
I. D.
Good food and very helpful staff ( well nearly all of them ) !!!
S. B.
We only had a couple pints but this gets 5 stars for being quiet and not jammed pack like everything else around. Nice few seats out front where I had my pint. Food menu looked like one of those pre printed plastic distributer deals which doesn’t always bode well for the food, but beers were great.
m. m.
Wow ! Brought here by google after a visit to the castle and I'm so glad we did. Proper pub serving spirits, ales and lagers along with no frills pub grub (at a reasonable price too). Will definitely be back when we come back to Edinburgh, many thanks guys, your place is excellent. Cheers
S. K.
Great pub always a laugh
c. t.
Great service and location. Excellent place to watch the world go by and drink isnt bad either
L. R.
OK pub, bitty drafty, pints quite expensive but food was ok
N. H.
Friendly and efficient barstaff serving good food make for a very welcoming pub visit.
i. w.
Proper traditional pub in the old town.👏
s. n.
Great pint of best bitter and the soup and super salad were excellent .
F. a. F.
This average watering hole is filled with a fine array of spirits, ciders and ales. The pub fails at being lively like what you would assume an Irish pub would be. The staff are overall nice but I struggle to want to go back. Having visited twice over my visits I feel like most pubs under the “nicholes” heading are lacklustre.
p. f.
Very busy place during fringe. However beware prices. We payed £42 for fish and chips and 2 pints of Guinness. For pub food. Albeit satisfactory. Minus 2 stars coz it's way overpriced. Service was ok too.
a. g.
A clean pint in a clean pub. Friendly staff.
C. D.
Lovely food and lovely staff
S. G. C.
Best Hagis Fritters with whiskey sauce!!!
V. X.
Pretty place but a few expensive around 8£ for one coke and one beer.
B. S.
Nice enough place at the bottom of Cockburn Street..we had the chicken burger and fish & chips.
Nicely presented and tasty.
P. R.
Very welcoming staff
This is a very good place to dine and drink EXCELLENT PLACE
D. B.
Ate here our first night in Edinburgh, August 2018. Unpretentious, low keyed, laid back atmosphere but comfortable. I had the Bellhaven Steak & Ale pie and my wife had the Hunters chicken and bot were delicious. Bartender was kind enough to let my wife sample a couple of beers until she found the one she liked. Would definitely go back.
R. E.
Went for a Sunday roast but the roast had not arrived apparently, strange. Regardless food was incredible! One of the best meals I had in Scotland. Great staff. Was quiet expensive, both the beer and the food.
C. H.
Great place to sit in the late afternoon sun, great beers on tap and able to people watch!
J. M.
Great Pub,Great Vibe,Great Food !
V. C.
This is a quaint pub restaurant on the way into Edinburgh old town. Had some light snacks eg. soup and fresh bread plus some hot chicken wings. Food was delicious and staff were friendly. Would recommend.
L. C.
Lovely location. Great beer. Couldn't order on the app though!
D. C.
Very friendly and attentive staff, in a super cosey and charming pub. Delicious food, served to a very good quality, and brought to the table quickly even during peak times. The triple chocolate brownie comes highly recommended: the accompanying mint ice cream really cuts through the indulgent richness!
S. L.
Lovely pub friendly atmosphere great service
B. D.
Fantastic customer service. The last round of pints tasted a bit off - staff were happy to pour new ones. This is perhaps what we should expect from bar staff but I think it's worth noting.
Seems to always be full of miserable council workers moaning about their jobs. I assume it's the local for said people. It's also fairly expensive but this is most likely due to location - it's about as bad as the pubs around it other than the Scotsman.
O. K.
Stout!!!
A. S.
Amazing place and ambience!!! The food was great and I really loved the beer battered onion rings!!!
T. B.
Great venue to watch 6 nations
K. B.
Friendly and attentive staff, lovely food and all at a very reasonable price
C. J.
Great food and excellent service ! Stopped in for a bar lunch and a couple of pints. The fish and chips were great , cooked to perfection ! Very reasonable prices , quick service and friendly staff . Worth a visit !
J. G.
Ordered a pie. The oven was broken, so they put mashed potatoes on top in place of a crust. It was alright, but had way too much potatoes when considering it came with a side of chips too. The vegetables seemed to be out of a freezer bag. The meat was good however, and the chips themselves were great.
L.
The food was a little overpriced (the price is not high but the taste does not worth the price) but this restaurant is located in the very center of the city and nearby the station and Edinburgh castle so understandable. A real thing is that I felt a bit uncomfortable being asked to show my credit card before eating(even before ordering food) for some safety reasons they say. And it made me think what was really that for while eating. Maybe because I was a tourist.. Besides that, the staff was attentive and nice.
C. S.
Lovely place to catch the afternoon sunshine and watch the tourists taking photos of the steps opposite. Great service.
J. F.
Great service from alan and Stewart. Alan was friendly informative and chatty and steward was incredibly accomodating despite not even quite having started his shift yet 🤘
B. F.
Good choice of beer and other drinks. Staff friendly and helpful.
L. D.
No complaints here. Found the staff very helpful in finding us good beer and good food. We arrived in edinburgh around 9pm and had a hard time finding dinner spots, the malt shovel was still serving food. We ordered the Balmoral chicken and the steak pie. Both were great and filling, our first time trying haggis! Would recommend the mashed potatoes-the whisky sauce is fantastic. One of the better meals we've had
Z. C.
Lovely cosy pub with friendly, welcoming staff. Would definitely go again.
H. K.
Nice place, good vegan food, good beer
P. B.
Good food and drinks. Very friendly staff.
M. B.
nice vibes. good pint of best
A. M.
Very local to our hotel so we gave it a try. It felt home from home pitty it didn't have more actual space to expand.
Nice atmosphere. Good hearty pub grub. Actually really impressed with food.
F. B.
I have been visiting here for 30 years so that has to say something. Always upbeat drinks well served and tasty bar food. I love the decor this is a proper pub not too fancy, wish it was my local.
C. G.
We visited here around Hogmanay, so it was very busy, but the atmosphere was fun and the staff were very friendly. Good range of draught beers and spirits, they also do food. Nice place to visit near the Royal Mile
S. l.
I want to start out by saying how welcoming Chris, Nick and Allan were when we entered this magical place. The second we walked in we received nothing short of excellent service. We were even greeted warmly by other customers. The atmosphere is cozy and the beer is cold! I would recommend this place to anyone! Will be making a point to stop back in if we decide to return to Edinburg!
- Canadian girls (Shelby and Kayla)
S. J.
Fast service great atmosphere. We sat outside. Great of you love to people watch.
L. M.
Came here on our trip during Fringe festival. Me and my girlfriend loved it. Great ales and fantastic service. Everyone working had a great personality and was a good time. Easily became our most favorite pub.
S. M.
Excellent service and good value.
C. S.
Great pub, plenty of room
A. E.
Great place to have a break after long walk
j. b.
Food is fine. Pub interior and location is very good. Stay away from the soft drinken, they are made with awfull tasting drinking water.
D. B.
Excellent service👍highly reccomend.
By far the best pub we have visited in Edinburgh, excellent controls in this difficult climate.
Superb food👍
b. m.
Great pub, Guinness is perfect, good surroundings inside, very large spirit selection, and plenty of hand pulled real ales.. staff were very attentive but not overly
G. 1.
Lovely pub, staff great,Fish and chips fabulous
M. G.
Great selection of drinks , IPA's ,lagers,
Single malts and gins galore.
We didn't eat but the food being brought out looked really good.
J. O. (.
A really nice place, a bit expensive, but not for the center of Edinburgh I suppose.
J. K.
Good clean hotel friendly staff and modern rooms.Hotel has plenty of free parking and has a good pub/restaurant next door definitely worth considering for accommodation if in the area.
D. B.
Nice old style pub serving up good food.
C. S.
Great place. Great staff. Good music.
F. S. M.
Lovely busy bar.
But the heating was sweltering! Even in the middle of winter I was sweating.
But good ale is a busy lively pub.
S. K.
Good service, they handle their covid protocol really well and made us feel pretty safe and looked after us well
P. B.
I really wanted to like this place as I loved the decor and atmosphere and it appeared they had a huge range of beers. Unfortunately it was rammed with people and every beer I asked for seemed to be out of stock. Maybe I just went at a bad time. Staff were nice though.
E. !.
Really enjoyed the fantastic evening with great service! Many thanks! :-)
A. P.
Great pub, excellent service and lovely food at a reasonable cost. Definitely worth a visit.
I. L.
As far as chain outlets go (this on is by Green King), this is a nice little bar on the edge of the old town. While the food and the beers are all generic to the brand it's well cooked and served with a friendly smile
D. M.
Great pub with the normal selection of whisky. Cajun pasta dish was way too oily, all other dishes looked great around our table!
a. a.
Lovely homemade food and very very nice staff
R. N.
Good beer, good food and friendly service! Thank you.
R. D.
This is a fairly standard traditional British pub just a few minutes walk away from The Royal Mile and Waverley Train station. There's a reasonable selection of beers on offer as well as the usual spirits you'd expect in a pub in Edinburgh. The pub does serve food as well but I haven't tried it.
M. V.
We had to wait to get our meal, had to ask about it. Once we did they really got moving and got it out to us. Obviously we were tourists yet gave us complimentary and heaps of apologies, went back and got great service ( and food), thanks!!
J. P.
We didn't know much about the local beer so the barista was kind enough to give us a small sample to help us decide which was the best. Great atmosphere, great beer and great food!
M. E.
Good spot in old town. Nice team. Tasty food.
D. M.
Great food and fantastic choice of drinks...
Staff were very friendly....
Look forward to our next visit.....
M. J.
Nice fish and chips. A great stop off whilst exploring the city.
G. Z.
Nice classic pub in the heart of Edinbrough. Worth it a visit if you wanna try some beers or eat something. Space for smokers outside as well. Reasonable prices and kind stuff
H. W.
Best beer, best prices, best craic found on this trip to Edinburgh. A lovely boozer for great ales and good malts some ridiculously cheap
S. R.
This is a pleasant enough pub, but does have a slightly soulless chain pub feel to it. Certainly not unpleasant, but equally, not hugely remarkable either. Not a locals place, mainly full of tourists.
P. C.
Great pub, good app to order at table. Try the Haggis.
M. C.
Great food and beer and nice staff. Lovely!
S. R. F.
Lush place to sit and watch the public walking up and down Cockburn Street. A lovely pint of Belhaven Black or two.... Even does vegan fish and chips & mushy peas. Champion! Will Be Back.
G. O.
An interesting place to visit food is good and worth trying.
K. H.
Great ales, lovely food, friendly staff
A. K.
Fantastic staff and brilliant food. Went here 2 nights in a row because of the homely atmosphere.
H. C.
Warm welcome covid measures in place
A. O.
Staff was very friendly, recommended a really good pint of beer & the food was lovely. Would come again 10/10
N. S.
Updated 2018 . Busy meeting point with acceptable food. Ales can be good but variety not always. Three IPA and a hybrid, nothing dark.
A. K.
Always been a favourite. Great beer selection, busy pub. Very handy for train station and old town.
f.
Cosy atmosphere, nice beer, it gets very busy and it's difficult to find any tables especially at weekends.
A. M.
Qaint pub, good service and an amazing variety of clientele. Friendly staff, good food and great beer. What more do you need.
N. M.

The Malt Shovel is a cosy pub in the heart of Edinburgh. It has a quaint "olde worlde" atmosphere and the staff are very friendly & attentive.
There is a reasonably-priced bar food menu.
Situated at the bottom of Cockburn Street, the Malt Shovel is very handy as a starting point to explore the nearby Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle.
Transport links :
* Edinburgh Waverley Railway station is a very short walk away.
* The bus station at St Andrew's Square is about 10 mins walk.
K. S.
