C. M.Part of the Civerinos Food Club. It’s a great wee pub which provides a large selection of pizzas, sides and drinks. The cocktails are amazing and the decor is stylish and comfortable.
D. T.I was curious to see how it evolved since I visited as Maltings many years ago. A late night cocktail bar but still a good place for a quite, late pint. Very good DJ.
A.Lively atmosphere and pretty good pizza! I pass this place on my daily walk to uni so thought I'd give it a try.
I got a number 42, I was unaware of the fact I got a vegan pizza without cheese, but the menu at the time didn't have a lot of vegetarian options so this was one of the only ones I could get.
It was a decent price but the seating was awkward next to the window, definitely try and get a table!

K. S.The High Dive are open for take away pizza and drinks, and have a few socially distanced tables outside (self service, with disinfectant on each table to clean with).
We had the haggis pizza which was amazing, the best pizza I’ve had in ages (including pre lockdown). The other options looked great as well, some quirky and some more normal. The menu is quite small at the moment, understandably, but there will be something for everyone including veggies. Good prices too- our 12 inch pizza was £8.50 and was enough for two of us. The staff were friendly and the pizza was made very quickly. I felt really safe with the dining set up, the tables are well spaced and there is disinfect and hand sanitizer available. It was so lovely to have a little slice of relative normality.
There are only 3 tables, due to limited pavement space and I imagine it could be quite popular. You could always take your food over to the meadows for a picnic if the tables are full.
J. M.Went along to this place on the recommendation of friends and it lived up to their very positive comments. Great, imaginative pizzas, interesting sides, good choice of drinks, and all at a reasonable price. Friendly atmosphere, and although they don't take bookings (except for large groups) we didn't have to wait for a table despite the fact that it was buzzing! Slightly off the beaten track, but well worth a visit.

You walk into the bar and are greeted by not only the most creative interior design but lovely staff that couldn't be more approachable. The menu's - pizza, cocktails, regular drinks have a great variety at prices which rival any place in Edinburgh of a similar standard. The pizza is always amazingly tasty, with generous portions for sides. Haven't tried the desserts yet but plan to do so tomorrow. We can't wait to go back!
R. L.My husband and I came to the High Dive to take advantage of an ongoing promotion, but the staff and service were so good that we'll absolutely be returning. Friendly staff and a fun & welcoming atmosphere, the menu has some great veggie options (and they offer breakfast pizzas!) Excited to return and work our way through the menu.
C. C.Went on Saturday night with five others. Food was great but staff spectacular. Really helpful, fully explained menu and offered suggestions.
Food wise. The pizzas fab, the sides better (get the loaded fries) and the dessert spectacular and accompanied by excellent coffee.
Only downside was the little stools, look fab but not too comfy for more than a quick eat and go. We were staying for more drinks!

G. M.Great pizzas, fair prices, and friendly staff. I had the nachos pizza. Weird, not something I'd ever thought about before. I enjoyed it, though the pizzas are big and I couldn't finish it. I have to say a crunchy pizza is a bizarre feeling. When I go again, I'll probably stick to something more traditional.
M. K.A nice place overall, the only minus for me is the pizza size - any chance you could make those a bit larger? I honestly would have to order two to be able to call it a dinner. I can imagine you might want people to order more than one per person to share but then it’s definitely out of my price range as a person on a student budget. So unless you have any student deals coming I shall be coming back for pints only. Having said that, thanks for the place, the neighbourhood feels way more vibrant since you guys have opened doors!

Lets ignore ( i know its hard ) the insanely beautiful furnishings, the prints, the ceiling lamps the perspex chairs and art deco vibes the place itself is cool and relaxed and the staff are incredibly kind and looked after us the entire time.
Nice, simple menu which doesn't scrimp on being delicious.
Good beer selection and I like the no fuss approach. Simple. Beer on tap, cider and wine.
Also, i bought in my boy who is 2 and he enjoyed it too and was made to feel super welcome.
New haunt. Well done.
Also maybe add an olives addition to the menu to accompany the fine wine.

A. S.Nice, friendly and very helpful staff. Portion sizes are also quite big. We chanced upon this place on our way to Holyrood Distillery. Pizzas, Chips, Drinks or anything you order will be served, with love and care.. We are surely visiting this humble big hearted restaurant every time we visit Edinburgh
A. C.Pizza was very tasty and prices were very reasonable. I gave 4 stars as I thought the music was just a little too loud and also not keen on dogs approaching me when I am eating food. Owners when entering food establishments should be asked to keep dogs on a leash or under control as not everyone is comfortable with dogs approaching when eating food.
C. B.My first choice for a pizza in Edinburgh. Delish juicy pizzas, thin base, great range of toppings including veg and vegan. Best of all its good value and has such a fun atmosphere. Great selection of drinks too.
L. E.They kindly let us book when the policy is for walk-ins only for less than 6 people. However, when we arrived we were seated in the right hand side where there was no one else, when there was still room in the much nicer main room. The pizzas were clearly marked at 9 inches so we had one each and shared some fries, this was plenty but £8-9 a pizza will get you a very nice 11 inch in Leeds. The pizzas were very soggy as the sauce had soaked through the centres. The cheesy chips were covered in dried oregano and salt, and while this was tasty it was very dry. The cheese in the chips was pre-shredded mozzarella and so did not melt but sat on top and was quite rubbery. They didn't seem to have the parmesan on them as advertised either. The bill was £32 which felt somewhat over priced. The service was very attentive however and the food was tasty.
W. H.First time visiting tonight, quaint little pizza place, lovely atmosphere and brilliant staff. Very friendly, and helpful. Food was quick to arrive, still piping hot and delicious, chips and cheese (minus the parmesan) were great and came with a tasty BBQ sauce.
Highly recommend and will visit again.

K. M.I want to like this place, so I will be back again to give it another go, especially to support local business. Staff seemed really friendly, aiming to please, which is an asset. Having food is an obvious plus, and reasonably priced too. The decor and music is unique, can't fault it (and comes down to personal taste anyway). I don't even mind the relatively small selection, which has been addressed in the comments below. What I did find a real shame is the eye-watering price for drinks - £5.50 for a basic bottled cider, or an average of £5.50 for rather uninspiring keg offerings. Nevertheless, wishing you all the best.
