M.Superb Horseshoe Bar well worth going in just to look at it ,we went for lunch at 12.00 .Minimum fuss at the door .track and tracing ,helpful and pleasant young girl showed us to our table .Food was good and did not take long to come to the table. Staff were attentive .and friendly . The bar itself is a masterpiece a double horse shoe so good it should be listed . There cannot be many left in Scotland

B. H.I loved this bar, it is set out with the actual bar in an oval in the middle of the whole area. They serve food as well, I think it was up to 9pm.
There are semi-circular booths with leather seating. It's what I would call an old traditional pub.
There were screens showing two football matches so our son was happy as well.
The staff are friendly and had we been staying in Edinburgh for longer we would certainly have returned, maybe for a meal as well.

J. M.Came in on Friday to take the edge off after a week of hard working. Sat outside for first two pints (cask ale and staropramen) and then moved inside to watch European friendlies game. Cask ale not the greatest, but did the job. Followed by really tasty staropramen served in a branded stein (great head and temp). Moved inside to watch the game and eat some food. I had a steak and ale pie with curly fries on request - one of the most delicious pies I ever had in Edinburgh. Served with steamed veg bouquet, puff pastry and delicious gravy - £8 Unbelievable!!!. Service by two ladies very attentive and professional, whisky recommendation spot on. I would advice you to visit the venue, whenever you're around. It gives you this local feel of a great Scottish pub that you're looking for. Cheers

M. P.Great pub/bar/restaurant situated at the bottom of Easter Road. A vast choice of beers and ales, with a fully stocked gantry offering a variety of malt whisky, vodkas and gins. The bar menu will have something for everyone with daily specials available. If you fancy something different then the adjoining restaurant has a great polish menu with traditional dishes!

Д. Н.(Translated) We were hungry and did not have time to pick up restaurants, we decided to go "by touch". Entering the institution on a weekday, they found that only 3 tables were occupied (there is a spacious hall, there are 20 on the tables and a large bar counter), but it was local elderly people - someone in the company of friends watched the races, someone alone under a pint read beer newspaper. Then I realized that I was not mistaken with the choice. The pub is classic in everything (but with food): ordering at the counter, paying for pints on the spot, at the counter again. It so happened that we arrived at 3:40 p.m. and until 4 p.m. there was an offer for lunch (salad + hot for 8 pounds). They took haggis (went like a salad😁) and some fish (like fish and chips). The portions were huge and delicious. Non-alcoholic cider (for everybody) and Scottish IPA (I don’t remember the name, but decent) were taken for beer. By the way, the choice on the tap is about 5 varieties and a lot of bottle.

Зайдя в будний день в заведение, обнаружили, что занято всего 3 столика (зал просторный, на столов 20 и большая барная стойка), но это сидели местные пожилые люди - кто-то в компании друзей смотрел скачки, кто-то в одиночку под пинту пива читал газету. Тут я понял, что не ошиблись с выбором. Паб - классический во всем (но с едой): заказ за стойкой, за пинты расплачиваешься на месте, за стойкой опять. Так получилось, что мы пришли в 15:40 и до 16 часов действовало предложение на ланч (салат+горячее за 8 фунтов). Брали хаггис (шел как салат😁) и какую-то рыбу (типа фиш н чипс). Порции были громадные и очень вкусные. По пиву брали безъалкогольный сидр (на любителя) и шотландскую IPA (не вспомню название, но достойное). Кстати, выбор на кране около 5 сортов и много бутылочного.
