Very quick service despite being really busy, food was decent value considering they will be paying Airport rent / overheads. The staff always are pretty pleasant and helpful. I usually pop in here each time I am at the airport on business or pleasure. The seating area across the walkway is always best to sit, in my opinion. Tables are usually always cleared fairly sharp

Your typical wetherspoon with a much smaller menu and more expensive prices. Quality wise it is the same as outside the airport for both drinks and food. It is the largest wetherspoon I have ever seen, it is absolutely massive! So they do a good job of serving the food promptly despite being very busy and almost all tables full when we went.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable breakfast today, my expectations were exceeded. The yolks were runny, nothing was stale and the butter was nice and soft so easy to spread. The mushroom wasn't the best but an absolute pleasure nonetheless. I was however one of the first people in so can't promise the quality would be the same later in the day when it's busier! The staff were friendly and helpful.

Lots of taps with the nozzles off, of the remaining few lines some had cleaning in progress tags on and the beers i saw been served where lively, staff straggling to pour decent pints. Would recommend drinking bottles. Staff friendly and not a long wait.

Was really chuffed with my large breakfast. Did want the Scottish breakfast but they were sold out. Was able to add haggis to my breakfast anyway and I was very satisfied with it all for the price. Super quick service, friendly staff. Exactly what we needed that morning to keep us going throughout the day. For a wetherspoons, I cant fault it.

Very good breakfast and complex versions for vegans and vegetarians. Also I very liked the idea of calories in the menu. And free refill on tea/coffe. Recommend tetley tea with milk (and sugarfree sweetener). 4 stars because I couldnt find pepper and the hot chocolate was out of milk. Also price is high as usual. Best hash brownies!

Airport bar and restaurant..it is what it is like any other Wetherspoons location. Plenty of drink selections and food options with very large seating area meaning you have somewhere to wait for your impending flight. You can order food from the app seamlessly.

This is now relocated next door to the old location. It feels alot bigger and more covers. The change in decor and colour has helped make this feel even bigger than it actually is. Easily got a table and used the app for ordering a drink and meal. Have to say that within 10minutes the food and drink was brought to my table with a smile. The food tasted nice and fresh and was a good portion considering.

You know what you get when you come to a Wetherspoons. But tonight, I am giving an extra star due to a member of staff who wore a Halloween spider headband called Georgie. She went above and beyond for us with a smile on her face! Not all heroes wear capes - some wear spider headbands!

Cracking cooked breakfast and very cheery staff. Already busy at 6.30am. Get your order in quickly when you arrive; brought to the table in around 5 mins. Large breakfast @ £9.55 was very good. Decent black pudding and sausage, eggs just right. My wife chose the small breakfast @£5.55. It was small and the sausage looked lonely🙄

Great food and great interactions with staff. The food was (in my opinion) the best food in the airport. The only thing that brings it down a star is that you have to go up to the bar to order your food. You also have to pay upfront. Once you’ve ordered the food you give them your table number which is placed and engraved into the corner of the table and they will come and deliver your choice of the menu right to you. Even if it may look like the breakfast menu only is being served just check with the staff there as for us they had started the main menu earlier than the scheduled 11:00 🕚. I would definitely come back here next time I have time in Edingburgh airport to have food there. I can see this place is clearly underestimated by the looks and system.

The staff are brilliant, friendly and welcoming, there’s loads of tables and the drink range is as big as you’d expect. Along with fast service even when almost full, it’s everything you’d expect from a Wetherspoons. Apart from the prices, which are comparable to a central London pub. I doubt this could be blamed on the pub though, so I’ll remain with my recommendation!

I was curious about one thing. You can order and pay on line... It is brillant for me, to have invoice in your inbox instead of small paper. Delivery was fast, and employees check anyway if all was all right. Ready good if you are in a rush. And the food was good too.

I had a berry breakfast which was supposed to be berries, yoghurt and granola - it had 3 strawberry halves, 8 blackcurrants and a tablespoon of museli with two desert spoons of yoghurt. Poor, I'll not eat that again!

Strategically situated towards the extended departure gates, this bar is popular and can be very busy serving food and drinks. There are 'overflow ' tables outside the bar area. Service is good enough but could be improved if drinks only orders were separated from food and drinks orders instead of one queue out of the door. There are two serving areas after all. I have not eaten here but it looks good and people seem content. Update Wetherspoon's newly refurbished bar is now open in the same location ... larger, more open plan and with a separate food counter. It could do with more departure information screens, though .

Big predictable Wetherspoons pub. Spills over both sides of the airport ie both pre and post security. Its always busy here and despite the size and the extra seating area over from the pub (in the departures side) getting a seat (and clean table ) is your main issue. As there are departure boards in the pub - last minute lingering is encouraged ....so you wont get those people to move early. Not a lot of alternatives if you want more than a sandwich or a snack. The menu has taken a hefty hit compared to its highstreet offerings. I can only assume they have chosen to pass on the scary airport rent to its customers. Mains all effectively nudging over a tenner. Good kids menu - ive never brought the kids here before (honest) but they offer two sizes of kids meal. Calorie counts are offered on all meals..interesting that the vegan/ veggie stuff can be more. No pub toilets so both sides utilise the airport facilities which are close enough anyway- if you know where they are. So it offers hearty meals at airport prices. Comfy seats. And either an acceptable pint to wash it down ( real ale snobs look away now) or enough booze for any flying courage or hen party needs. So in the absence of someone building a better alternative (i see Brew Dog bottled it with their tiddly kiosk) or someone changing the air rage laws -this will remain the main port of call.

Great pit stop while wait g for a flight but so overcrowded and it's order at the bar which means single travellers can either leave their belonging unsupervised or lost their table (assuming the find one to begin with) I was constantly bumped, bashed I to and rammed with prams while trying to eat my okay breakfast and drink my vile coffee.

It is what it is, a Wetherspoon pub within the departure lounge of Edinburgh Airport. Not the cheapest nor the best food, but good for pre-flight drinks for those jetting off on holiday or in need of a little Dutch courage to quell any jitters before a flight. Its spacious and has many seats too, however could do with more staff at the bar to prevent lengthy queues forming.

I am a firm advocate of reasonably priced pub food and bear in mind the Sir Walter Scott is in an airport, I feel the prices are very reasonable. Two sausage on a roll and two hot drinks for under £15, is not to be sniffed at! Staff were very attentive and very helpful. Ordered vi the Wetherspoon app, which is an easy way to order nevermind pay. No standing at the bar in a queue! The whole experience started the "airport wait" perfectly. ps. Have the Belgian Hot Chocolate, it's got a lump of chocolate on a stick!😋👍

The dish arrived shortly after by the waiter, a poor portion at a fairly expensive price for the content. The place is nice and sometimes it is so full that it is difficult to get close.
