Loved this place for years. Football, horse racing, karaoke in the evening until late. Brilliant bar staff keep it sensible. God bless Alfredo in heaven.

Excellent for watching the football with a nice pint of Stella. Not very busy but was early on a Sunday afternoon. Staff were lovely. Plenty of tv's with no reason not to get a good view and football and racing on side by side.

I came in for Breakfast on Sunday 19th May. The welcome was warm and the breakfast was cooked to perfection. So I thought I would come back again today (Tues 21st May) for the same thing. The gentleman didn't look too chuffed in having to make a breakfast. And it was clearly rushed. The fried egg was barely cooked and the potato scone looked and tasted like it had been warmed in a microwave. Based on the first experience, I would return, and I did. But sadly based on the second experience, I won't be coming back. Shame really as it seems a cracking place with a good atmosphere.

This is another gem of Glasgow. again it keeps changing over the years will look out images from last few years get them posted up. Dont be fooled by frontage its great size once you enter. good service, its pure gem of a pub well worth visit.

"Alfies" is a pub I've drank in semi regularly for years and in all those years it hasn't changed a bit...and I don't mean that in a good way. Basically it needs gutted and totally revamped, especially the toilets. If you like your pubs basic then this is the place. Not a bad pint, though far too expensive imo and no Wi-Fi?! I mean how many pubs nowadays don't have Wi-Fi? I would've given it 2.5 stars if that was an option tbh. Disappointed.

Great little bar. Traditional and cosy. Good for snacks and serves a good selection of beers. We had a drink here prior to booking in to our hotel and had a really good afternoon. Everyone very friendly and welcoming. Will go back when we go for our Christmas shopping in December.

I'm a regular visitor to this friendly and amazing pub. The staff are brilliant, funny and engaging. The manageress is great, looks after everything and adds to the craic! Excellent pub grub at unbeatable value, their pizza's are so moreish and if you love steak pie get HERE NOW!

It's like walking into Dr Who's tardis small entrance and opens up into a amazing horse shoe bar with loads of seating and standing area great staff and regulars make you feel very welcome also great prices for a middle of town pub. I will definitely look forward to going in again HAPPY DAYS HAPPY PUB

The staff are great and very friendly, however the guy that serves the meals does not listen to his customers repeatedly asked him to do do something about bout the front door as it is Baltic when sitting in that area,pubs are supposed to be warm and comfortable but if you want to visit this sports bar be sure and wear your thermals and gloves as I have said it is BALTIC, if nothing is done in the next two weeks I will definitely not be back I hope the door gets fixed as it's the staff are great people will wswa and see what happens but I am not holding my breath.
