I very rarely write reviews but I had to on this occasion. It's my first time in Glasgow and I was recommended this bar. We had a couple of cocktails and had some amazing alternative recommendations from Frankie. He was helpful, really knowledgeable and super friendly. We could've stayed all night chatting. Decent music on a Thursday night. Ordered a couple of mojitos and didn't think they had been made right. We raised our concerns with the waitress and she kindly took them back and made new ones. Unfortunately they seemed to be missing the sugar syrup on the second attempt, but apart from that it was decent.

Cool gaff with heaps of retro almost Art Deco features and fittings. Tonnes of drink selections, cocktails the full works and a tasty looking pastry counter. Dog friendly too 👍🏼

Loved our visit last Thursday. Would recommend the negronis. All the staff were really lovely and helpful especially our male server with brown hair who checked on if we needed anything frequently and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious I'd have the hummus and the olives again. 10/10.

Great time here, fantastic location and great range of drinks, topped off by the BEST service from WONDERFUL Nuna who took care of our group, found us a table and kept us well "hydrated" all evening. Me and a visiting friend came to Banana Moon as part of his Glasgow experience. The bar staff were wonderful, particularly Hannah, who was so attentive in making sure our drinks were always topped up and she always served us with a smile and warm temperament that made my friend feel so at home in the city.

Fantastic place! Went on a Monday for their weekly pub quiz. Staff were so lovely and kind. The pub quiz was brilliant. The rounds are interesting and afterwards a game of higher or lower gets played. Was a proper laugh and such a highlight on this trip. The drinks are very reasonably priced and they offer a good selection. The atmosphere was lively and cosy.

A review to get them flowing. Post-hipster bar. Good selection of bottled craft beer; help yourself from the fridge. Draught stuff tied to major lager brands, but this place isn’t trying to define itself by the beer. Very good coffee. Music is all on vinyl. Mezzanine level is nice, but cheap spiral staircase scarily flimsy and not secured. Didn’t try the food. A too-cool addition to this side of great western road. A guaranteed commercial success, especially with the associations with Optimo and the team behind Alchemilla, Chinaski’s, Tabac and the Berkeley Suite.
