H. M.It was heaving and we couldn't get in as the live music draws a surprisingly large crowd on a Saturday. So we went somewhere else and came back for the last song since we were keen to experience even just a wee bit of the place given that we'd travelled all the way from Leith to go here due to our inexplicable love of yellow things. We actually got half of the last song plus the encore which was a real treat considering. Everybody inside was having a very good time also and we made several new pals.

G. T.Fantastic pub. Even despite the restrictions there's actual atmosphere unlike many other places. Excellent for local bands when normality refund and decent priced beer which is a bonus.
Only negative is there's no cask ales but few pubs have that these days unfortunately

Haven't been in the bar for years - only went because HAGGIS NEEPS'N FATTIES were playing. Had a great night, bar was good had a great atmosphere. Country guy was out of place and following HAGGIS was a hard act for anyone to follow, kinda felt sorry for him, in the right setting he would have done a lot better, everyone I spoke to seemed to think he was just a filler in for the band.
