Reviews of Church on the Hill
R. J.
I had expected an actual roast dinner before arriving and looked forward to it all week; however, the menu noted the roast was within a Yorkshire pudding.
Although the photo does look nice, unfortunately as everything had been soaked in gravy it was all soggy and the gravy was too rich for me. The beef wasn't the best quality and not something I would normally complain about, but there was also too much of it.
The signs were there upon arrival and on exit not to get a roast though and in hindsight, should have noted these walking in. In a fairly busy restaurant, I spotted one other table having the roast with remaining tables having burgers and panini's.
The other food did look nice and may be back, but won't be back for the roast.
D. H.
Lovely cocktails served by friendly and efficient staff. Interesting that they no longer use real passion fruit due to the severe environmental impact. The rice paper equivalent is tasty anyway.
C.
Great food.. Good service.. quality staff
C. B.
The revamped outdoor area / beer garden is looking rather nice. Table service was great when we were there, quick and efficient, no ordering through any stupid apps which is nice. But they need a better range of beers.
L. M.
Never disappointed. Staff are friendly, consistent and pleasant. Great food quality and portion size. Atmosphere is always lively. You can tell it’s run by great management. Will be back
L. S.
Awsome place, driven past many times and finally got to visit last weekend. Great experience, very professional and on the ball staff, sat outside and had some drinks and food.
Everything was spot on and will definitely be back.
Well done
A. M.
The food was lovely. The thing that stopped me giving 5 stars was the fact that one of our meals came much later than the others. In fact, the rest of us had finished our meals by the time it came. They didn't charge us for it though.
A. M.
Popped in for lunch with my better half today. Enormous and tasty haddock with chips for her and spiced lentil cottage pie for me. Food and service both excellent.
C. F.
An amazing night here once again! Staff, drinks & food fantastic as ever! A big thank you to Amber and Kieran who were great. Thank you for a fabulous evening! We will be back!!
A. G.
Didn't disappoint 🙌 Wanted to try here for a while and finally got the chance. Food was great, hopefully return again soon. Service was good, was fortunate enough to go during a quite weekday so was seated and served right away
D. S.
First time here, chosen for ideal location near to Hampden Park. Glad we chose it for our Pre-Event meal. Food good and looked after well by a super team of staff. Lastly check out the weight of their Pint Glasses, lol 🍻
R. M.
Good food and service, but don't be that chef that makes your servers lie to the customer saying it's all when clearly you can't be bothered making an item off your own menu i.e. Smoked cookie ice cream or something close to it.
P. F.
Great staff, great food & drinks. Dig friendly. Value for money.

Good food and drink made all the better by having a warm sunny day. Hygiene standards were excellent. There was a good outdoor seating area
A. H.
On the whole, a great local restaurant. Just find mixed experiences with the attentiveness of staff. If staff were a bit more attentive and friendly I would push this up to 5 stars.
K. M.
Quality food and fast and friendly service. Also the bar and restaurant is dog friendly. Great selection of beers, reasonably priced
T. D.
Good gastropub just south of Queens Park. The large and spacious venue has a good food menu, including daily offers, an extensive drinks menu and has a variety of seating (tables, booths and bars).
The staff is friendly and the venue also shows sports and hosts a regular quiz.
l. b.
Had a lovely lunch and prosecco 🥂🍸, cocktails were lovely too , nice staff 😀 will definitely be back 😊
J. H.
Food menu's need to of a standard people can actually read ink in printer needs replaced. Food was fine never had a steak served with rocket and cheese usually a tomato and mushrooms. Service was good. Desserts not great
W. C.
Sibling who live close took us for lunch.EXCELLENT first class food and service.
Will be back
I. S.
Brilliant food and service was the best we've had for a long time.
R. G.
Cosy in a large space. Full of craft lagers ales and local ciders. Great for sport fans.
L. M.
Lovely staff and is dog friendly such a nice place to eat and drink :)
E. J.
Such a good vibe in here. The staff are lovely and the foods great.
C. T.
Came in for a juice with my daughter and grandson on Tuesday 6th July after a long walk. I've been in here a few times albeit inside for a meal and a few drinks. It was a nice day so sitting outside was better. The staff are friendly and attentive and the place is very family orientated.
We will go back there soon again and hopefully the weather will be just as nice.
D. G.
Need more staff when there are cup semi finals on. Other than that, it was fine
J. C.
Beer selection ok if you like lager only. Grown ups may find choice a bit limited. £9 G&T was left for another day. Birthday, graduation or bridal toast perhaps.
A. C.
Stylish, plenty of seating and good service. Staff clearly well managed, no issues with ordering or food. Only complaint is chairs at rear-outdoor seating could do with feet extenders to prevent them sinking into the wood-chippings.
A. B.
Good beer selection, nice staff, nice bar
J. K.
Nice place food was really good. Excellent choices. Friendly staff.. good outdoor space.
E. W.
I don't understand why so underrated. The place is beautifully designed and the food is great.
A. S.
Constantly seems to be reinventing itself, honestly I like this iteration, so please keep it for a while. Good food, good ambience, well priced, super friendly staff.....(update) it's changed again, looks great, but the menu has shrunken, which is a shame, however the food in the menu is great (the steak pie is GREAT(
H. B.
Would like to see more vegetarian and vegan options, love going there when down visiting my daughter as I can take my little dogs
J. C.
Lovely bar / restaurant with great staff.
T. N.
We were here for the Monday night quiz which was brilliant entertainment! Far more engaging than anything else I've been to recently, I don't want to give too much away for anyone that hasn't been but if you enjoy a bit of lighthearted competitive quizzing then you'll love this, trust me
A. W.
This is a lovely place. Great staff and service. Made you feel looked after during covid restrictions and with an outside area there's plenty of seating. Lovely layout inside and several big screens to watch the footie on.
R. M.
Decent pub next to Queens park. Good on sunny days
p. h.
Had LOVELY family lunch with my daughter, son in law and 3 (under 5) granddaughters. Wee ones had chicken nuggets (actually chicken breast) and chips followed by ice cream. Daughter and son in law both had huge burgers and chips and I had the very generous roast beef Sunday lunch. Really nicely cooked and so tasty. Will definitely be back.
E. B.
Good first impression with great use of outdoor space and Covid regulations followed. Lovely food, quite fun given typical Scottish weather 🌧☔ No itemised bill so not sure what we paid for 🤣 I'm sure we'll be back.

This is an amazing place to take friends and family, its an amazing atmosphere with cracking staff who are so nice to talk to and will help in any way they can!
They are dealing with the current world problems very well all staff are clean and smart with how they take orders, there are protective screens and a one way system in place making it very comfortable, only thing i wish is more time in the venue as its just such a great place to be in!
Thank you staff for all your hard work!
N. M.
Highly recommend the steak sandwich with a pint or St Mungo.
N. P.
Dog friendly, good food and atmosphere
A. M.
Great spot with plenty of space outside. They have adapted well to covid, decent pub grub, friendly and efficient table staff. Only shame for me is a lack of tennents but plenty of other options.
D. D.
Disappointed in the range of beers on tap and in the fridge. Behind the curve.
M. C.
Was great front of the house staff around love to steal him for a more advanced roll on bigger place but made to fell welcome even no restrictions are in place they done well food is awesome.e as usual if dnt believe me ask elton John dinner her many times ad a well knowing
A.
Quite a cool pub. Nice big open space. I felt the bar staff were quite slow to serve in spite of it not being that busy. That's my only real complaint, the staff seemed pretty slow and it could take a few minutes to wait when there was only 1 person ahead of me at the bar. Good selection of beers and some fancy cocktails. Ordered a cocktail tree that came with 9 cocktails for the table which was kind of cool and different. I would go again.
S. R.
The staff are friendly and the food and drink are pretty good although it feels rather expensive sometimes but it’s the outdoor “rules” that really let this place down. It’s like trying to have a pint with an over zealous headmaster glowering at you ready to whack you with a ruler. Firstly it’s cheap, plastic pint pots instead of glasses which make the beer taste warm and flat and blow over at every opportunity not to mention being catastrophic for the environment regardless of recycling claims. There’s also no standing allowed! Seen a mate walk in? You’re not permitted to walk across the yard to say hello at their table and do not even think of lighting a cigarette or vaping. No, they’d rather smokers stood six feet away in the street with nowhere to put their stubs.
Now to be fair, I do not know if at least some of this is foisted upon the bar by licensing laws but the overall affect is to make it a pretty miserable place to have a pint outside and there is nowhere else in the local area that I know of that treats customers like this.
S. R.
Good menu that changes once in a while to keep things fresh. Lovely inside since it was refurbished and outdoor seating has been extended. Staff are always very polite.
No ramp for prams/wheelchair as far as I'm aware and you have to go up and down at least three separate sets of stairs to get the the restaurant. This could be avoided by a ramp on the stairs outside and allowing access to the door on the left which you could used to do.
A. B.
Nice staff beautiful inside nice to sit out... So much done to make everyone safe during the pandemic... The frozen cocktails a nice touch but not my favourite.
J. S.
Amazing building, now operating as a bar and restaurant. Decent beer, competitive prices, worth a visit
C. D.
Fantastic lunch, fantastic polite, nice, friendly staff, very refreshing to see good staff 10 /10 ps 25%of the food today, as it's a brand new menu yummy yummy yum yum
S. K.
Visited on a Friday night for the steak night special. The deal is great value for money, although it definitely wasn't a 'steakhouse' steak experience but it was nice. Probably wouldn't go back for that particular deal but the venue seemed cool and the cocktails were decent.
F. F.
Staff at Church on the Hill were so lovely, very attentive, nothing was a bother, food was lovely too, can highly recommend Sunday roast, was delicious, had a such a great experience, will definitely go back soon.
K. M.
My partner and I tried the newly upgraded version of this place and initially we weren't disappointed. We went for Brunch. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and we shared a portion of the Haggis Lollipops. The food was beautifully presented and hot on arrival. The service was also great. Unfortunately upon returning, it was a different waiter serving us and upon enquiry regarding the different presentation and lack of salad with the Brunch, I was informed it was a different chef who tends not to be by the book. So, anyone thinking of going here, ask which chef is on and if it's the one who takes pride in his dishes. If it isn't, you're wasting your money. Otherwise, the place looks much better and depending on the chef, the food looks and tastes amazing.
h. w.
Lovely, helpful staff that catered to all our needs. Was disappointed that the chips, that accompanied the fish, were frozen skinny fries.
D. S.
Service was amazing. However, Mac & Cheese for adults and kids, we got the exact same portions, the only differences are adults got 3 slices of garlic bread, kids got 2 slices. Adult paid £9, kids paid for £5 which for £5 that include either a starter or a dessert. It didn't make any sense! Fix the price please. £9 for nothing special Mac n Cheese is a bit excessive, additional £2 if you put extra. Seriously?
C. A. H.
Despite the information given on the website, temperatures were not taken today and use of the toilets was not being properly controlled. I wore a mask to enter the building as required by law but was followed into the women's toilets by two young women not wearing masks and it was impossible to socially distance from them in such a restricted space. I had to pass closely by one of them who was standing inside the door. When following the arrows to leave the building, I had to pass closely by two other young women who were chatting and again, not wearing masks ; they may have been members of staff. Food a d seating outside all perfectly acceptable.
G. B.
Excellent venue, food arrived very quickly and was really good, staff super friendly and made our dog very welcome. We''ll be back soon.
C. S.
Beer garden outside. Little bit of seating under cover through the main entrance but still outside, quite liked that. Huge place inside but still felt intimate in a way, really pleasant atmosphere.
We had the Sunday roast, a ton of food. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
It's dog friendly. The staff were great. Can recommend you pop in and give it a try.
P. Y.
I ate here on a 5pm Deal the 2 Course Menu with a drink for £13 per person. The food was fantastic and great value for money. So 5 stars to kitchen staff. When I went to pay for the meal it came to £28, £2 is nothing right! However when I asked the extra cost it was for the prawns as my partner chose the curry. The waitress who served us gave my partner the choice and he chose prawn in which was not advised the supplement where the supplement was clear about the steak. The manager advised that's what it was and was not that bothered we were not advised his staffs error or maybe lack of training. As a business owner myself would be pretty sad if my manager never took the £2 off to keep a customer happy so 1 star for the manager bad customer service. Shame as the place is lovely.
E. L.
Really big venue, spacious with a gorgeous interior. Lots of plants and rustic tables.
Lovely atmosphere, very relaxed. Tables outside for when the weather is nice, but a vast amount of space inside. The bar is long and impressive. The decor is quirky, but comfortable! Dog-friendly, reasonably priced. The staff seem very friendly also!
L. P.
Great place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. There is a good choice of food and drinks available. I really like the interior of the place too. Its spacious because they havent tried to cram loads of tables and chairs in. Dogs are allowed too. Anywhere that allows dogs in are clearly the best kind of people. I think this will be my new local!
M.
Friendly, cheerful people who serve bevvy so you can watch massive tellies and get drunk. What’s not to like.
J. M.
Not been in for a few years but the quality hasn't dropped at all. The food was amazing. The chef really does deserve some recognition. I've never had a bad meal here. Drinks were reasonable. Service was very quick plenty of staff. Will definitely be back. And cant recommend it enough
J. Q.
Nice beer garden reasonable prices dog friendly and across the road from Queens park which is handy.
The Church on the hill has friendly staff and will get busy at weekends it's pleasant to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal. All in all thumbs up.
F. O.
One member of staff not very helpful, no smoking in the beer garden and food very avarage and a bit pricey.. disappointed as have been offered.
A. K.
Food here was really good you would think a place where the party and drink is popular the food is really good. Rachel was our waitress and she was really good and took care of all our needs. We also took our dog who was made very welcome indeed and given water and treats. All in all a very good day and would definitely recommend this place for dinner or lunch I will be back that's for sure.
C.
One of my favourite pubs on the south side - great atmosphere, the staff are really nice and it just generally feels like a place you would want to be.
Best part is that its dog friendly! I don't believe the dogs are allowed in the raised food style area so there is a nice separation if that sort of things bothers you!
E. M.
Excellent service! We were in tonight, as a party of 5. The dinner was a we debit slow - as to be expected when the pub is mobbed one friday night! Without a complaint the (who we presumed to be manager) offered us another round of drinks on the house. This was greatly appreciated! The food soon followed and it was throughly enjoyed by all parties. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Jsut wish we had the managers name to thank him personally
O. G.
Great beer garden comfy benches friendly staff beautiful building
J. H.
Lovely patio except for the dog friendliness! Gluten free bottled Peroni available. Good service but needs a dog friendly area as do all these dog friendly places! I love dogs but they have their place which, in my view, most dog owners/service providers do not seem to accept!
A.
Good for drinks during covid, safe outside seating and one way system for toilets. Friendly helpful staff.
Drinks very good!
S. K.
Dog friendly and decent food.
S. R.
Friendly staff, great drink selection and brilliant for sports.
Outdoor space is roomy and clean also.
S.
Just visited for lunch on my own. Very like a new York loft. Nice space and decorated well.
Had the chicken fajitas burger. Loved the skin on chips. The chicken breast was blackened well and the tomato/avocado salsa hit the spot served on a brioche bun. The large glass of Chenin blancwas nice and cold and crisp, but not too dry.
Service is fast and efficient and I would come here again.
Gave 4 stars for ambience, service and food but £17 for food/meal just a wee bit pricey.
C. C.
Church on the hill is absolutely stunning! If you are in the south-side, this is probably the best place to have a drink or a small bite to eat.
Visited here a couple of times now after the renovation, the first time was to watch a football game. There is plenty of screens around (including two massive projectors) so you can get a good view from anywhere in the pub. We ordered some food and it was served perfectly. It tasted great which is always a necessity with pub grub.
We ordered a few cocktails and had a great afternoon. The drinks and food were all reasonably priced!
Again that weekend just passed we went for a few drinks. There was not much space inside so we sat at the tables within the foyer (it was reasonably warm). Drinks prices again were reasonable.
My only issue was the waiting time at the bar. For such a fancy bar I feel there could be more staff behind the bar. We were under the impression that a few of the staff on that night were new, given a few issues with our rinks, but nevertheless, there should be experienced staff to aid when required.
M. J.
Surprised at the poor reviews for Church on the Hill as I found the food to be exceptional! I ordered the chicken kiev with haggis inside and it was amazing. We were told it would be 35 minutes as the chicken is fresh and had to be cooked from scratch, but in reality the wait was shorter. The food was Michelin star standard, with crispy bacon on top. Chips are very tasty, as is the mac and cheese (which my mum got). Service also very good for a Saturday afternoon, the waiters were kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend this beautiful little bar/ restaurant if you are visiting the South side. I will be back!
J. T.
On an off chance visit to The Church On The Hill, my wife and I chose to have some food from the lunch menu. Little did we know what a treat we were letting ourselves in for. My wife had the Church Chicken and I had the chargrilled lamb. Both dishes were excellently cooked and presented. Highly, highly recommended. You will not be disappointed!!!!
m. e.
This place has undergone an amazing transformation! The features & furnishings are so much cooler & more comfortable, the music selection is amazing, the choice of drinks is better and the mood & attitude of the people working there has improved out of sight. What used to be THE place to avoid is now an understated, cool, comfortable place to hang out.
An unbelievable transformation👏👏👏
M. D.
Very nice bar with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Not a huge menu but everything I've tried from it has been excellent and I've heard nothing but praise from my dining companions. The bar section is dog friendly too.
a. m.
Friendly barman actually brought two taster glasses to my table. Ok, he wasn't rushed off his feet and he was selling beer but it was a considerate thing to do.
Also was offered fresh lime as well as cordial and he chilled the wine glass before pouring the pinot. More than I usually pay but very good hospitality.
M. L. P.
Not long after our arrival, the kitchen ran out of their COTH burger, which wasn't surprising with the amount of people who were there, so the menu was swiftly changed and a chicken burger was substituted in its place. I must say, I was expecting a typical chicken burger, the type which has 'reformed chicken' but it was actually chicken breast in a lovely seasoning, and I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised! It's definitely something which I would order again, but I would have liked to substitute (paying extra for) their "Posh Chips" in place of those which are served with the burger, but I was told this couldn't be done, although I could order them as an additional item. Knowing that I couldn't eat all of that, and detesting food waste, I went without, which is the reason I'm only giving 4 rather than 5 stars... xXx
S. L.
It is a lovely bar with good drinks and a good atmosphere but the food we had wasn't great. The mash potato was dry and my mum's well done steak was still red in the middle so I wouldn't say the food was worth it.
A. C.
W.O.W... What a place. Honestly couldnt ask for better service and atmos. Had an amazing night. Top shouts to everyone at the Church 👍
M. C.
Church on the Hill has changed hands since I first started going here and now it has a new Décor and style. The bar seating area has now been increased and yet the dining area doesn't seem to be any smaller.
My friends and I came in on a Friday and a member of staff helped us get a table at the bar area when I couldn't find one. It's the little things like this give a great experience.
T. D.
Father's day treat, food was delicious, plenty of it, friendly and helpful staff, certainly going again
C. F.
Super friendly and helpful staff. I attended a baby shower where there were lots of guests and they all enjoyed the afternoon. Platters of food were great quality too.
A. B.
Staff were great, only ordered some food off the brunch menu that was quite nice and well priced. Kids liked the big screens while eating and the really friendly staff.
M. C.
The place looks great now they have refurbished. Nice friendly atmosphere and they got fresh water for the dog. We sat out in the beer garden most of the time. Didn't eat anything but it looked and smelled good.
D. J.
This is a good pub in the summer. They've got plenty of benches outside but be prepared to move a little bit to chase the sun. Selection of beers on draught is small it's the usual suspects and the one PA on draft cost £5. But we did get free burgers from the BBQ and they were really good quality. After a while they charged £4 but considering the quality so worth it.
S. P.
The food is great and the drink is very reasonably priced. Unfortunately it could do with a bit of redecoration. It looks a bit tired and when it's cold outside it's never the warmest inside. I know they have trouble heating the place due to it's size. Maybe a bit of investment would bring it right up to its former glory.
M. M.
Lovely food and the service from our waiter Kevin was the best i have had in any establishment. Would definately return and look forward to it. Great service.
E. D.
Eatery area was great service if u wish to eat or just drink. But bar service terrible. Dog friendly... But surely should be limited on Saturday nights being a dog lover, at least one night off is good
G. M.
Great location to relax and enjoy the views, had a light bite and a pint of St Mungos very nice!
G. C.
Good beer and good prices. Good selection of local brewed beer and ipa
K.
Love the new menu. Not sure about the look. Been here loads. Not sure about the hock and cock pie. Can I just say I said we didn't like it and got a full refund. No fuss. The starters...beautiful. haggis lollipops and mussels. Pastry on the pie to die for. Beautifully cooked. In our opinion....very salty. And i am sorry but you cannot marry up a delicate fragranced herb like tarragon to a robust strong meat like ham hough. It doesn't work. They bounce. The tarragon just added a bitterness with the salt. Cream ? Didn't even notice it. A unsmoked bacon would work better in this. Or at least a more comparable herb like thyme. It doesn't work guys. I was intrigued to find out if it did. I was not not surprised it didn't. But...the steak and ale pie is a must try. My fave is haggis burger. Some things in life just dont go. Hock and cock just dont. Won't prevent me going back though. Service good. Took what I said and gave refund. Had ate the chips so declined a further option.
A. M.
Lovely lunch, nice coffee, clean surroundings and cleaning toilets. 10/10
J. M.
Great location with lots of seating outside. Friendly service. Good for big groups. Menu overpriced. £12 for a (small) veg burger and chips?
C. L.
Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Love that it's dog friendly but didn't like the stuffed animals behind the bar and could do with some vegan options on the menu.
G. T.
Great range of food and drink in a great setting with friendly staff
A. B.
Great place for food and drink. Been in here a few times with work colleagues. Most enjoyable.
R. P.
Had some really nice macaroni here, servers were all very friendly, seems very popular and is also dog friendly if you want to get your dogs picture on the wall of fame
c. o.
Much better now its been renovated and changed owners. Decent selection of drinks and food not to shabby either. Outside seating area good size too.
K. C.
Great food . Nice staff.
T.
Lovely staff, interior has been done up and thr food was brilliant, I had thr eggs benedict, not sure what they done to the ham hough but my goodness me it was delicious, the good lady had pancakes and was blown away by how good they were. Go, you won't be dissapointed.
C. W.
The food was good. The fixed menu is great value. Place isa bit shabby. The table was pretty dirty and blocked toilets. Staff were great
P. D.
Fantastic big garden plenty of nice tables to eat safely outside, extensive menu , dogs are very welcome waterbowls supplied
C. M.
Had a wonderful family Christmas dinner. The service and staff was super and made our Christmas day very special. The choice of menu met everyone taste. Would certainly ho again on Christmad day. Thank you
S.
Decent food. Weird stuffed animals. Major complaint is the up-selling of their own beer that takes place, EVERY time you order
A. L.
1st day 🍺 after lockdown restrictions allow Beer Gardens to open friendly staff, felt safe as all guidance explained clearly, good beer too.
S. S.
Great food. Great staff. Can't ask for more.
S. F.
Was ok the bagel was not very 'stacked' but family had the veggie breakfast and the full Scottish breakfast and both enjoyed it. Good coffee
J. W.
Fantastic place , very unusual , first class food , good reasonable prices , table service too ! Loved it , great atmosphere and that was duribg the day .
c. F.
I would just like to thank all the staff at Church on the Hill for their amazing service and patience, ( cause I forgot to mention that 2 folk would be late ) The food was amazing and the atmosphere was brill, nothing was too much bother , so thankyou guys for helping us celebrate our sons birthday
A. G.
Had a lovely meal in Church On The Hill this afternoon. Excellent service and friendly welcoming staff who couldn't be more attentive without being intrusive. Very reasonably priced and really nice atmosphere!
T. D.
Father's day treat, great choices, tasty menu, will be returning
P. B.
Lovely outdoor setting, shame the drinks were served in plastic cups though
G. W.
Absolutely fantastic, great menu, great service, and definitely the best steak and ale pie I have ever had. First class.
N.
I really liked this pub. In a nice area and the beer selection is great. I felt the food and drink prices were quite expensive. One of my favourite places for a beer after work or football game.
A. I.
Great selection of beer. Not had the food so can't comment on that. Yet the drinks are good.
L. B.
Excellent beer garden, sadly the sun is hidden from early evening onwards. Good selection of beer and wine. Not tried the food.
A. T.
Had an outside table felt a bit like McDonald's with burger and chips served in a cardboard box with plastic cutlery
S. F.
Great beer garden, good cocktail selection. Great food offers

Love this place, both previous and post refurb. Nice for drinks, lunch and dinner with various places to stand or sit depending on what night or weekend it is, sometimes they have the footie on, which keeps the boys amused.
