Popped in for pub lunch today. A wee trip down memory lane for us....we frequented The Stobbs in the 80's. Lunch was.... Lentil soup with bread and butter. Garlic creamy mushrooms on crusty bread. 2 hand made beef burgers, bacon, cheese, fries, salad...... 2 large soft drinks. £37.65 Jonathan served us. Pleasant and chatty with his customers. Service was quick and food was hot, tasty and plentiful. Thanks chef!! When we're on the area again, we'll be back. Pet friendly....parking on the street. There was a car park across from it......way back in the 80's......can't believe that was 40 years ago!! Love the atmosphere, that's still the same. I wonder if it's still owned by the Galbraith family....I remember the name Jimmy. Lovely time we had.

All 3 of us had different meals. I had the superb lamb curry, my wife had garlic chicken and chips and my neice had steak pie and chips. All 3 meals were superb. For sweets I had apple pie and custard my wife had ice cream sundae and my neice had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Again, all 3 were brilliant. Definitely going to be a regular in there.

The staff at the Cross Stobs Inn are always lovely and welcoming. The pub is dog friendly too which is a bonus. The food choice is your usual pub grub and is delicious.

My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting for food and drink recently. Extremely friendly welcome, very attentive staff and bearing in mind they were operating their Social Distancing measures we felt very safe and comfortable in the beer garden. We both ordered fish and chips and it was the best fish and chips we have had the pleasure of tasting for a long time. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Went here today ,foods always nice but,personally I think its time for a change in the menu,for 1,why do they insist on having two soups that are all ott, why not have an original soup & a fancy one,also the last 2 weeks ,was there last week also ,the macaroni is not the same as it usually is very dry ,I will go back luv using local places just a wee menu uplift would be good ,xxx

A friend and I attended for lunch today and what a fantastic choice of restaurant. The two young people serving were an absolute delight. The food was plentiful and very tasty and the grounds are beautiful. I have already spoken to two other friends and we plan to visit within the next few weeks. 10/10 all round. Thank you

Great warm cozy pub. Staff and people are really friendly and service is great. They also have a well balanced well looked after pool table which tickles me from time to time. There was live music on which really lifted the atmosphere and the guy was excellent. They also serve food which is second to none. Worth a visit with a friend or on your own.

We will definitely be back our meals were lovely. I’d the steak pie which melted in your mouth and my daughter had the home made macaroni it was delicious. My only moan about it was I couldn’t finish it as the portions are big especially having a starter 🤪 the young girl that served us was very pleasant. X

Nice food, decent price. The garden area with animals is a cute touch to a family pub. The location makes for retried parking and you can bring the dog. Friendly and accommodating staff.

A lovely wee local pub. Staff are wonderful and the food is good too. Had live sport's on multiple screens. If you fancy showing of your skills they have a pool table along with a darts board along with a electric jukebox if you fancy a song of your choice.

First meal/drinks in a pub in 2021, good food,great service only let down by the dodgy Scottish weather as we are still not permitted to drink indoors as COVID only spreads when you're drunk and have a roof over your head....apparently!
