Great oldie world deco from outside which is genuine. Very friendly staff. Great range of beers and wine. They do a comedy night once a month which is very popular so recommend booking in advance.

I'm giving it a 5 as it's one of those pubs that does what it sort of suggests before you walk in. Regulars mainly and full of every kind of weegie you could imagine. Mixed shop for celtic rangers matches and reeks of punters past and present almost as much as you try to avoid using the toilet door handle on the way out again. No surprises but a genuinely mixed crowd from all walks

Popped in for a quick drink with my better half during corona social distancing phase 3. Very impressed that all staff were taking every precaution available. I had a pint and the bar staff offered me a straw to drink from? A little weird drinking a pint from a straw but just shows how far the staff have went to ensure that every precaution available was utilised to prevent the spread! And the great thing is that the atmosphere was friendly and the experience felt extremely normal thanks to the staffs efforts. We'll done

Called in on way to a concert nearby. It was busy following a Rangers v Celtic football match. The atmosphere was great. The staff were really on the ball and we had our drink orders taken and supplied right away. Full marks for a well run pub.

Traditional, Scottish old mans style pub. TV's showing sports in the bar, with lots of men around. Very busy bar with the usual beers on draught. Upstairs is a quieter lounge area, also with TV. No food served anymore.

I think the people leaving the shocking reviews went to a different place! the staff could not have been nicer if they tried and the food was fantastic!! A group of 10 of us went for lunch and there was not one complaint.
