Where do I start, from walking through the door I fell in love with the place. It felt so comfortable and the staff extended a very warm welcome! It was hard to choose what to have as all the meals look delicious but being a Sunday I decided to go for the traditional Sunday lunch. Ordered a beef dinner and was not disappointed when it arrived, the service was quick and effortless.
The food was delicious and the portions were generous, very well priced and I would have no problem recommending to anyone.
10/10 from me!

I have never before seen so many out of stock items on a menu! We had booked the meal when we stopped in for a drink in the afternoon. My wife fancied a steak, and I fancied the Steak pie. Neither available !At no point, either on booking or at arrival later were we alerted to out of stock issues. The staff were OK, this is a Management issue- customers accept out of stock issues, but it it BASIC customer service to alert us up front, and the whole team needs to be on top of this!

Really nice pub in byres road, nice environment with comfortable lighting. Drinks are in the more expensive side, but understandable as the pub is in the middle of byes road. Cool staff, nice range of drink choices, allows booking on the top floor so if you have a big group of people you can just book the place. Not a pub I will go every week, but it is not a bad pub overall
H. T.
The food was very good. Unfortunately all the beers ran out at the same time. Some of the other customers were a bit noisy and the music was quite loud, so not great for chatting in a group. Staff were lovely.
G. D.
Good food. Great choice of beers and always cheerful service. I love this pub.

Been visiting every now and then over the past few years and have always had an enjoyable experience - good food, variety of drinks and helpful staff. It's also more spacious than other pubs in the area
M. D.
Lovely atmosphere, staff are very friendly and there is a broad selection of drinks.
However, I think staff might need some training on how to serve/pour cask ales; long pulls and a top up at the end. The ones I’ve had have been rushed and pulled in short strokes, end result is there isn’t a proper head which is indicative of a bad cask pint.
D. H.
Surprisingly spacious pub with a very pleasant ambience. Staff were friendly and efficient. Great place to pop in when shopping in the West End.
R. R.
Great service, relaxing atmosphere, amazing cider on tap!
A. M.
Great pub, nice atmosphere, music never too loud that you have to shout over it. Good selection of drinks and tasty food.
L. P. B.
Lovely food with really delicious chips! :) Good friendly atmosphere. Great service.
We will be back! Try the club or pulled brisket sandwiches!!
D. P.
Situated on main road this venue with low lighting to give it a mood of calm to have a good drink & food, good casual place to chat with friends
P. S.
This is a nice looking pub, with an appealing Sunday roast menu.
Most of the meal was nice, unfortunately the roast beef was overcooked, dry, and quite gristly. We arrived shortly after opening, so hopefully we were just unlucky and got the first couple of cuts off the roast.
Service was a bit slow at times, but otherwise ok.
T. S.
Great food with a traditional Scottish feel - Perfect for locals and tourists alike. Phone to pre-book a table for dinner though as they're often quite busy.
K. J.
Food was lovely although quite pricy for a main meal I thought for the type of place it is. Very different from when I was last in when it was much more a student type pub.
R. S.
Curlers is reputedly one of, if not the, oldest pub on Byres Road.
It a great space, spacious but cosy, welcoming and, in these days, covid friendly. Good drinks selection. Friendly and helpful staff. I've only tried snacks which are well cooked and tasty but I've heard the meals are great pub food.
Exploring the west end? - Curlers is a fantastic place for a relaxing drink and something to eat.
W. C.
Great place for good pub grub. Awesome atmosphere for a Saturday night dinner. The Mac and cheese and pie were delicious. Lots of beer choices with plenty of pale ale and IPAs. Lots of room for groups.
P. B.
Dog friendly.
Nicholson Pub, always a treat! Great booze on draught, Joker IPA, Mortimers cider.
Amazing pub grub available, we got the fish starter for two, it was absolutely delightful and was quite shocked how filling it was.
Great bar in a great location, class joint.
Á. C.
Nice staff and good food

I've been in Curlers Rest a few times with my parents and it's always a welcoming pub with a good selection of drinks. We keep saying we should go for a meal one day as it looks like they sell nice food also. It's definitely a "must visit" when in Bryes Road and I'd highly recommend it! :-)
A. G.
Smashing pub, looks small from the outside but its pretty big inside. Great selection of beers and friendly staff as well. It was busy so we went upstairs. Great atmosphere with low background music. What's not to like, worth a visit or two.
A. J.
Lovely quirky place. Food is very tasty and reasonably priced. Good selection of beers and wines
j.
Amazing place for drinks and social events, food you can avoid since it is the typical pub taste except that pricier
E. L.
Pleasant, but didn't give us the feel of a 600 year old pub.
S. R.
Great pub with loads of food to choose from prices are OK for the west end. Dog friendly
D. M.
Great place for a wee drink. Not too busy and has a really good atmosphere.
N. c.
Beautiful pub ,great atmosphere, spotless toilets, fantastic staff, well worth a visit, good prices for the location
m. “. s.
Delicious meal, great staff but very noisy after 8pm when we arrived.
M.
Good sized pub (deceptive!) Great buzzing atmosphere. Mixed crowd.
R. W.
Great pub but the food wasnt up to scratch, way overcooked, we will be back but not for food for a while, although the haggis neeps n tatties was brilliant
A. P.
Roomy, atmospheric.....great staff.... the Curlers burger was fantastic. Everyone loved the food. ...
A. C.
Good pub with nice food. Pint of Plum porter recommended.
H. K.
Sunday lunch and a curer! Definitely sorted me out. What a lovely place! I just loved that they do a proper Sunday Lunch menu! Would highly recommend and I will definitely be back to try more from the regular menus 😁
V. J.
Authentic olds world pub dating back hundreds if years. Great variety of crafty beers on tap! It's a must if your in Byres rd.
R. H.
Love this place it has been a while since I had last been, a few years since a moved away from the westend. Used to love the place for a drink after the rugby but was in a few weeks ago with a nice dude a meet that day for a few beers and very accommodating. Left alone when we had a full pint but straight to us when we needed another. Good job during covid and was a busy place that day
R. H.
Good food and drinks, along with a great atmosphere.
I. J.
Nice atmosphere, very good deal on food and a beer
m. d.
Superb bar reasonable prices,friendly staff
R. B.
The food can be hit or miss but if you want a cosy pub for drinks curlers is the place to be
C. H. v. M.
I loved everything here: the staff, the interior, the place. But (!) and that’s such a huge point so that I can’t ignore it - the food was tasty but for the prices waaaay to small portions. It’s sad, because I think that you would make either bigger portions or lower the prices. I would’ve love to give five stars, but because of this I can’t. Maybe you guys could work on that, read it on other ratings before.
D. R.
Reasonably busy for a Friday early afternoon. Nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly.
S. m.
good pint for a student bar, great breakfast, cozy atmosphere
P. G.
Firstly, great to be back inside this well loved, cosy, friendly West End icon of a pub. It's been way too long. Great atmosphere, superb choice of drinks. BUT!!!!! No acceptable excuse for charging £10.50 for the meanest portion of macaroni cheese I have ever witnessed. I honestly thought it was a starter that had been delivered by mistake. The rest of the food was great, but I honestly, genuinely felt ripped off by the once iconic Mac n cheese at the Curlers. Hence the 3 stars.
D. F.
We visit here every week for our mandarin meetup and have been doing so for several years (covid notwithstanding). We've never had any issues at all and the staff have always been friendly and approachable. It's dog friendly and we love it!
I. F.
Place is very dark and there were a lot of flys about put me off eating their
A. M.
Nice cozy pub. Staff were nice. Had a good range of lagers. Could have done with stout or porter options other than Guinness, but that's just me
J. P.
The Curlers rest forms part of my early life growing up!
It and they can do no wrong.
Good beer, good selection of drinks, excellent food, free board games comfy seats etc etc etc.
oh, and a tube station an easy wobble from the front door.
Why would ye no?
C. S.
Good pub lunch. All the pies were out of stock though, so disappointed in that.
R. J.
Had a couple of pints in here...was real ale but cannot remember what it was.
A nice pint though.
O. O.
Great pub grub and lovely ambience.
E. M.
Had a wonderful time here earlier this evening. We popped in for a pint as it's our first day living in the west end of Glasgow. It was also our first time going to the pub since the COVID outbreak. A tallish ginger staff member greeted us and was really great - he had really good knowledge of what was on offer and offered us a really lovely table by the window. Everything felt really safe and hygienic and definitely made us feel comfortable drinking there. The place also has a beautiful rustic feel and is very well decorated. Would highly recommend - we'll definitely be back.
L. M.
We had a lovely time here, friendly staff, a good football match, and the most amazing duck I have ever had in my life... Just delicious mhhhhh.
M. M.
Popped into Curlers Rest yesterday, I haven’t been there for a while but thanks to the excellent attention of Emily and Brad I hope to be back soon. Excellent selection of beers, wines and spirits in pleasant surroundings.
A. G.
Great pub with a range of really interesting beers that changes regularly. Good food too. Still excellent after lockdowns etc.
F. B.
Good bar and great food .Great staff
A. L.
If you want a Pub that changes it's Kegs regularly, then this is the place for you. They do keep bottled Beer and Cider in the fridge, which would appear to be regular stock, but if it's a Pint of Draught that you want, there are only a very few Taps that are available on a regular basis.
Some of these prices are less than £5 per Pint, but most are over that mark.
K. M.
Lovely West end bar & restaurant! Full of history, with the best staff. Drinks selection is brilliant and food is delicious. Perfect spot to relax in!
E. W.
Quite dark decor. A brighter coat paint wouldnt go amiss. Lagar was off, as in taste. Staff very formal, its a pub relax smile at customers.they are your bread and butter
A. S.
Dimlit but really nice interior, best brownies I ever had, wide choices of beers/liquors, very fun pub quiz!
G. G.
Good pub with a good selection of real ales.
S. M.
The staff in Curler's were absolutely superb on Saturday!!! We were a large group, ordering large numbers of drinks and meals - and we were so well looked after!! The beer is great (lots of choice - particularly for the ale drinkers) and the food was hot and really tasty. Every question we had got a helpful answer, every request was welcomed and dealt with. Fair enough, the TV signal wasn't great upstairs, but it was good enough (and outside their control). A great day out - we'll be back!!! Thanks!
E. H.
Good food, chatty casual put atmosphere. Older children friendly. Very good pub food
C. M.
Very good atmosphere without a great effort. Beer selection is enjoyable. Menu looks good too. Still good to visit.
M. A.
Fish and chips and sausage and mash. Both were great. American on vacation and these were just what we were looking for.
N. B.
Great drink, friendly staff and good background music
A. M.
Yeah good place for a drink, decent pub good service
J. H.
Very nice pub; good range of beers and other drinks; good atmosphere.
W. N.
Great pub with lovely atmosphere and super food. We popped in for supper and had an excellent bangers and mash. The beer selection is extensive and there is a compact but well thought out wine list. We liked the dark decor and subdued lighting with cosy corners. It was pretty full but still we could have a quiet conversation. Staff were everything they should be, it feels like a well run ship. Well done!
N. M.
Loved it! Good food, good service and very welcoming of my dog!
s. j.
On arrival we were met by a member of staff who showed us to our table. We were informed that it was table service. We ordered our drinks, food a few minutes later. The sausage and mash was very tasty 3 good sized pork and haggis sausages with a good helping of mash potato and gravy. The curlers burger was also fantastic. 2 flame grilled burgers with bacon and cheese with a side of fries and onion rings.
Afterwards we tried the sticky toffee pudding. One was with ice cream the other with custard. Have to say it was fantastic. I would come back to the curlers rest again and again.
T. J.
Went for Sunday Lunch. I know it has rave reviews but I would say just decent pub grub. The pork belly I had was not nice, skin soft and fat nasty and tasteless. But good veg well cooked and nice dessert. Wife had fish and chips and said good fish but poor batter. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Just don't expect too much
J. S.
This is a nice pub near the botanical gardens. They have a small seating area outside. While having a large amount of seating inside. They have a nice selection of drinks as well as offering food. If you want to hang out for awhile they have board games you can pull out and play. It is not overly loud inside and the tables are not on top of each other.
M. B.
Only went for a coffee but looked at the lunch menu. Menu was fine considering the limited menu's at pubs during the pandemic. Daughter had her dog and the staff were very good with him.
N. G.
Great pub and a really good atmosphere.
D. M.
Curlers' Rest. One of the oldest bars on Byres Road, this pub does what it says on the tin. Staff are attentive and friendly and there is plenty of comfortable seating. Prices are reasonable. Use to be very much a students bar and still is to some extent given proximity to Glasgow University, but weekends see a very mixed clientele. Good food. Well worth a visit.
Q. H.
A West end classic pub. Been here forever will hopefully stay that way.
B. H.
Was very impressed by the fish and chips best I've had in a while. Staff and atmosphere were great.
R. W.
Such a wonderful and friendly pub. Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Plus the place is for the most part accessible sadly their upstairs areas is not accessible as you require stairs to get to the next floor. However the place on the main level is lovely and charming and fully incorporates what you want in a west end pub highly recommend for a drink or food. Can not say enough nice things about this place other than maybe a few more vegan and veggie options on the menu.
I offend find myself in this pub for a drink after a long day and I alway feel very safe and welcomed there which is a major plus for me.
Highly recommended.
P. M. U.
You have to enjoy this place. There is always a pleasant ambience. You can enjoy good food or you can just sit and enjoy the opportunity to chat. It's dog friendly, has a wider and varied selection of beers, wines and spirits and it's also reasonably priced.
R. W.
Nice atmosphere and realty nice beer! Apologies for the 3 stars I previously gave this place, it was a typo! The place is really cosy and the craft beers they have are great. I've been a number of times and never been disappointed (other than some crying children, but who has full control over that?! 😂).
C. E.
We had a really good roast lunch here. The service was amazingly quick considering how busy they seemed to be. The food was really nice, the meat and vegetables were among the best I've ever had, but the potatoes, gravy, and Yorkshire puddings were quite bland.
R. A.
Been coming here for years. Staff are always helpful and friendly, good selection of beer always kept well, and the menu has a wide variety of food to eat. Lots of seating and a large room with benches upstairs near the kitchen. Had some kind of bbq chicken wings, chargrilled and delicious. Will keep coming back.
G. W.
Good choice of wines and beers yet not the best value when it comes to price per pint in a student district. Attentive staff and the food is pretty good. The tables are well appointed (you can have a good conversation without having to shout over the music). The WiFi could be better.
P. B. B.
Good atmosphere, pleasant service but it took a while for food to arrive. ..and it was relatively expensive.
£14 for a burger is not going to attract many people for lunch.
On the plus side, food allergies are well catered for.
R. L.
A relaxed atmosphere, good food and lovely staff and our dog Ghillie had a fine time too🐶
C. M.
Food was very nice. Good atmosphere
J. M.
Busy Sunday afternoon. Food decent enough without being great. A few real ales on tap. Dog friendly. Staff welcoming. Handy for the subway. Regular haunt when in the West End these days.
S. B.
Made us a lovely steak and cheddar pie and triple cooked chips 5 minutes before food was stopped. And a beautiful pint of Tennant's lager. Highly recommend. Even for a drink, it seems a great place to be. And I'm from Yorkshire! Lovely waitressing and friendly service!
B. E.
Sat near the door which was Draughty and banged shut constantly.
Spoiled our experience
J.
Very nice pub who have a great Covid system in place at present. Food was very nice and overall pleasant atmosphere.
J. M. N.
Nice relaxed friendly atmosphere, food on offer all day. A good selection of draft and bottled beers. Children welcome and so a couple of family groups among the clientele. Big and spacious, so never chaotic.
W. F.
Spacious bar great atmosphere with excellent bar service friendly staff great for booking functions
S. G.
Super cosy pub with a great selection of beer and spirits. Really homely feeling.
Good selection of food too. An afternoon or evening drink can easily turn into hours. Staff are friendly too. Highly recommend.
G. M.
Great selection of beers and spirits, friendly staff, clean and tidy public bar
L. L.
Very tasty and great value lunch, ordering via your phone is a bit of a pain but otherwise service was great
S. W.
I've only been here for drinks before, but was pleasantly surprised by the interior. I had expected it to be much smaller than it was, didn't realise there was an upstairs too. Drinks were fine, usual selection and reasonably priced. It is very popular and does get very busy at the weekend so means you could be waiting at the bar for a while. However apart from that no other complaints.
S. b.
Good vibes but slow bar staff
B. T.
Just had an amazing veggie Sunday lunch here. The nut roast was amazing, the gravy the veg, all delicious. Got a great beer pairing recommendation too! Great experience overall
T. W.
Very enjoyable food and drink, lovely atmosphere and dog-friendly to boot. Been here a few times and never had a complaint - although a larger rum selection would make it perfect!
D. W.
I haven't been here in years, its decor is much improved from my student-age days. A good range of beers and ales were on show. Staff were perfunctory, prices on a par with other bars in the area. This place lacked character, however, so I moved on after one drink.
P. K.
Lovely lunch of seafood platter to share and service good too. Nice atmosphere.
e. m.
Probably my favourite pub in the west end. Go in for a pint and before you know it 4 hours have pasted by. Nice chilled atmosphere and the Sunday roasts are amazing! Can't wait for my next visit :)
j. a.
Enjoyed the atmosphere and a good selection of drinks.
C. S.
Terrific food, and great staff. Definitely going back, next time I'm in Glasgow
D. O.
This is a homely little bar with great, cheap food and a lovely open kitchen. I had the 2 course deal and really enjoyed both the caesar salad to start and the chicken burger for main. The staff are very attentive and make you feel very much at home.
S. S.
Great place for a pint and a bite. Loved the Mac and Cheese. Also dog friendly and brought our pup a bowl & treats; lovely staff.
J. D.
A solid local pub with a good selection of cask ales as well as modern craft beer usually including some IPAs. It has a very cozy traditional atmosphere. The food is OK, but not something I get excited for.
G. R.
Popular place... Brad was the perfect host.
T.
A cosy atmosphere for a large pub. The menu is simple but executed very well. The sirloin Sunday roast is perfection and the red wine jus over the huge Yorkshire pudding was heaven. I will be coming back often.
a. s.
Nice place for a seat and a drink. Good beer selection . Didn't try their food - maybe next time. Al in all a very nice time spent at Curlers
J. P. (.
Oh wow. The best Sunday lunch I have had in a very long time, and the rest of the family agreed. Lovely cosy place and the fire going upstairs looked a real treat. Great service good prices and excellent food (again).
B. M.
What a fantastic pub this is. I think if I remember correctly like 400 years old. Lovely inside and have an outside section when warm. The pub has really lovely tasty food too. Great atmosphere!
H. C. M.
Expensive pint, good service, nice atmosphere.
S. H.
Native pub, but hit and miss with the music
G. G.
I loved it. The pub is a converted building and has great atmosphere. The food is good; I recommend the ham, egg and chips which I really enjoyed. The staff were friendly and the prices reasonable; all-in-all a great place to eat!
S. B.
We stopped here for a beer and a bite to eat. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, perfect after a day of sightseeing and walking. The food was also very good. Great craft beers!
S. H.
Great homely pub. Great selection of beers, gins and whisky. Didn't eat this time but food is good. Well worth a visit
T. C.
Don't accept any cash which is pretty strange!
D. G.
Great track and trace. Great service. Loved the food and a very very decent selection of beers. What more do you want.
J. L.
Great service and friendly staff. Good selection on tap too
D. C.
A west end institution, lovely old pub with a good selection of beers.
M. W.
From the moment you walk in you get a warm welcome. The food is excellent and great value for money. Can recommend the pan fried king prawns and chorizo on toasted sourdough for a starter. Great atmosphere and would return again.
S. D. S.
We went for a Sunday roast. We had to wait over an hour for food but then they did give us a free round of drinks. Food was decent. All in all a good place to eat and I'm sure most people would get quicker service.
J. F.
Nice traditional public house with good choice of beers and drinks along with a good menu. Friendly staff as well. Would recommend this establishment.
C. M.
Good food and excellent beer choices. Very easy to book for events and they look after you well. We had our engagement party here and had a lovely evening.
N. M.
Tasty food. Scottish enough to be appreciated by the turist in me 😊
G. G.
This pub has been situated next door to Hillhead subway for years and it's a popular place to have a drink and something to eat with people who live in the west end.
Great selection of drinks and decent priced pub food and bar snacks are available but it can get quite busy at weekends as you would expect.
Fair prices and good service make this place worth a visit.
M. W.
Beer was fine but my Fish and Chips were over salted. The Fish left a puddle of cooking oil on the plate. In fairness my colleague thought the Steak and Amber pie was excellent.
N.
App was a bit dodgy because signal is really bad, so we struggled to order - but the staff was lovely!
A. A.
Great food and drink and lovely staff. Curlers still attracts the slightly unhinged though - I'm not talking loveable west end eccentrics here but the actually dangerously deranged. But maybe we were just unlucky on the day.
T. P.
Good food, excellent beers and friendly staff. What's not to love?
Great for families, the kids roast on Sundays being a particular highlight.
B. H.
Good pub with a good range of beers. A bit pricey compared with other pubs nearby. A unique feature of this pub is a large range of board games that you can borrow.
D. A.
Typical pub in Glasgow West End.
B. M.
Great place to meet for a beer, right on Byers Rd and close to loads of other pubs and restaurants. Does get very busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Serves food, but I've never eaten here, so cannot comment.
A. G.
Plenty of staff on. Yet we stood waiting at the reception bit for quite some time. After that hurdle it was fine. But first impressions weren't great.
K. L.
I love Curlers Rest, their selection of ales and craft beers is amazing. Although I have never tried their food I have seen it and it looks so tasty. I heartily recommend this pub
J. M.
Excellent, great staff & the beer selection is to. Just had a drink this but will be back to sample the food. Added bonus, dogs are allowed.
S. A.
Excellent Pub. Good selection of drinks and great service too.
S. M.
Disappointed that there is no snacks menu at weekend (sandwiches, paninis even chips), only full lunch menu. Food was good though, chips especially. Soft drinks portions are hobbit-sized, do they get many in here?
J. M.
Good pub. Great selection of cask ales. No traditional beers like Tennents Lager or Belhaven Best. Which is disappointing. Expensive.
I didn't try food so I've opinion on that.
D. V.
Good food next to a train station in Glasgow. Great beer recommendations. Food was good. A bit pricey for that part of town, but overall good experience.
M. V.
I really liked the atmosphere here. The food was good and staff friendly. It seemed like a great place to meet up with friends and hangout.
M. C.
Good pub. Wasn't in for long but the staff were friendly and the beer was good. I've heard the pies are great so will be back for one soon!
A. R.
One of my favourite pubs in Glasgow. It has plenty of space and it's very cosy. It is dog friendly, service is friendly. Food is ok, nothing special.
L. M.
Lovely food and very friendly staff. A cozy place to sit, have a drink and dinner in the face of some chilly Glaswegian Spring weather! Also very hospitable to our dog - very much appreciated.
D. M.
Really nice place. Menu not for us but atmosphere for a few beers, second to none. Highly recommended.
n. m.
the latest upmarket reincarnation of a very old Glasgow pub, good range of drinks and decent food, can get very busy at weekends, and pints are expensive (some around £5)
Back today (June 2019) for Sunday roast, beef so overcooked it was like inedible shoe leather. For the price charged the chefs shouldn't send this out.
J. Y.
Good food and quick service
C. W.
Can't recommend this pub enough, food was excellent, lovely atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff went above and beyond providing a water bowl for my dog and then a saucer of dog treats. I can't express how impressed I am!
J. J.
Good sized pub with a few nice quirks. Large selection of guest ales and a tasty, frequently renewed menu. Friendly mixed crowd place with events on from time to time.
A. P.
I'd say one of the best places to have an evening drink in the west end!! Quite a big place with many counters for drinks with reasonable prices. Never tried the food!
D. M.
Very old pub in the west end of Glasgow. Its right beside Hillhead tube station so can be reached easily from the town centre. Well worth a visit.
A. L.
Fashionable bar on Byers Rd. Busy, but bar staff are quite attentive and it doesn't take long to be acknowldged. Little pricey though, but amenable.
T. S.
Great lunch sandwich and a pint at a great price. Nice and quiet atmosphere during daytime and with a nice buzz at night. Big selection of beer.
A. M.
one of our favourite venues Brad, Dan and Claire are always most welcoming hosts. Very busy and popular place for meet ups, can highly recommend Curlers although weekends can be exceptionally busy
T.
Nice wee pub with plenty seating. We only stayed for a few drinks but the selection is decent, pints are poured well and staff are friendly. Nice and relaxed too
F. A.
Great ambience, not over busy so able to get great seats. Food was good and staff friendly and efficient. Food just fine!
M. N.
Passed this pub.then went back and.noted dogs allowed.tried it with 2 daughters and dog loved it.good range of beers.did.not try food.will do next time
k. c.
1st time visitor with another 3rd time visitor, lovely location close to Ashton Lane but without the same crowds and pretension, keep your eye on the ball if you want a table in here (which sadly I did not) and reasonable range of hot drinks on offer too though extra care should be given to the temperature of the warmed milk.
G. C.
Good food comprehensive of beer that you choose. Lovely atmosphere. Very comfortable.
E. P.
Love it here but the prices have gone up significantly recently so it's now a bit too expensive.
S. M.
Stopped in for a drink with my wife and our dog. Staff could not be nicer. Also dogs are allowed at your table for food. Great!
B. G.
Really nice place, we had a wee dinner here. As I'm intolerant to wheat, milk and egg it's hard to find a suitable place to my diet. Not in case, they were so nice and made me a menu suggestion.
G. W.
Went there for an event that was utilising their free function room. Plenty of space dispite the pub being busy. Friendly staff and good food.
P. S.
Good place to hangout with friends.
B. L.
Brilliant staff very helpful. A huge range of craft beers on tap. Very good food and decent prices. Always love visiting this place.
M. M.
Delicious food and cosy atmosphere, all the servers were full of good chat and friendly will definitely come back
S. B.
Love this bar, always feels warm and comfortable, food is great. Staff are quick and efficient. Great comfy seats.
l. s.
Big modern place on Byres road large selection of good beers food menu classic pub grub, nice good portions the place in itself it s a large room so I wouldn't call it cosy but I definitely be back.
I. G.
Still a good pub
D. F.
I love coming in here through the week and have a nice quiet drink in a relaxed environment. The beers on tap are superb.
D. J. M.
A nice old Pub, nice inside, good food, great atmosphere.
