Had a great night at bingo on Tuesday! The atmosphere was amazing the crowd were awesome. The bingo caller Craig was hilarious and made our night. The service was fast and efficient. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. My girlfriend won £240 on the snowball, happy days!!!!!

Had a fantastic night here. My favourite part was the great atmosphere created by the bingo caller Craig. He kept the crowd upbeat and lots of laughs were had by all. He’s quite handsome too which doesnt hurt.

I came into Hudson’s with some mates on Saturday afternoon. It’s a friendly pub and the barstaff were raising money with a charity raffle. The girl with the black hair was hilarious and was making everyone buy tickets. We had a good laugh and bought loads of tickets. This is a nice place for a drink with good staff.

I just popped in for a quiet one but ended up staying all night. The tennents was fantastic and so reasonable priced. The atmosphere was really relax and the dj tunes were awesome. The service was first class and Hao looked after me all night.

This is my local pub and I absolutely love it! The atmosphere is very relaxing with lots of sports always on. The staff are so attentive especially the manageress who is so friendly and funny. The drinks are top quality and inexpensive. They have a good selection of ales and cocktails too. The bingo has just started up again on Tuesday and it's brilliant! I would highly recommend Hudson's.

I came for a drink with my friend this afternoon. We had been shopping and just fancied a refreshment before heading home. We came into Hudson’s not expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The drinks were very reasonable priced and well presented. Lovely cold Stella in a Stella glass and my friend’s Bicardi and coke had a fresh slice of lime. The atmosphere was really relaxed. It wasn’t busy as it was early afternoon but the banter between staff the locals gave us a good giggle. They clearly know their regulars. It’s worth popping in for a wee drink. I will definitely be back.

just had theeee BEST night at hudsons ek !!!! came in for a pint because literally (and i mean literally we had £20 between us) and also (tuesday @4pm so f*** it) but APPARENTLY tuesday night is BINGO NIGHT so we decided to play! (thought i won the first round but i actually just didn’t know the rules so it was a foul) but we decided to just gambled our last £11 on two tickets for the last game and…….we WON !!!!!! WE WON £94 !???????? HELLOOOOO???? also hao and craig are absolutely the best people i’ve ever met in my life i love them<333333 (even tho craig booed me when i lost a round) but genuinely i couldn’t recommend ENOUGH this was so much fun (even if we didn’t win the money) we still had THEEE BEST TIME ever!!! guys get urself to huddies on a tuesday night! u won’t regret it! lucy and lewis xxxxx (table 9 i think?)

This is the most amazing pub in East Kilbride, I’ve lived in East Kilbride for 5 years and living in the village it’s the most brilliant pub in East Kilbride and I’ve tried a few! They are so polite but also so efficient. Also with covid they are doing what they can to make everyone safe!

Went down on Tuesday to watch the Scotland game, got in early to grab a seat and ended up taking part in the bingo, didn't win anything but had a laugh playing. Top class service from the bar staff and a good laugh from the bingo caller. Definitely worth a visit.

My wife and I had been shopping in East Kilbride and had to wait for our bus. We went into Hudson’s as it was close by and we could see the buses. We were surprised at how busy it was for early afternoon. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The 2 barmen we’re very professional and we’re chatting with everyone. The drinks were not expensive and well presented. The other customers also made us feel welcome. This is a great find for us as we come to East Kilbride quite often.

I love this pub. The bartenders are very friendly and helpful when it comes to trying new drinks. I went a few moths ago before Covid and was allowed to use a student discount which was fabulous! They should advertise that. I had Joe serve me and he was very helpful, I can tell he is very loyal to his work and will go beyond for the customers who come down. He is definitely bringing in new loyal customers. Would highly recommend.

I went into Hudson’s for the first time today. My bus was late. There were 3 cask ales on. I didn’t know that pub did real ale. I couldn’t believe they were only £2.50 a pint. The barstaff were friendly. I will be coming back the next time I’m in East Kilbride

Absolutely wonder service, and the pub are keeping to the restrictions really well! Social distancing measures are all in place, there's no music, and lots of sanitiser as well. I felt really safe and comfortable, and my server Astrid was wonderful, she made us feel at ease and sorted our order really quickly. Overall a great experience!

Excellent pub, always good & friendly service, very reasonable prices. Excellent selection of gins, wine, beers etc. Gin is particularly inexpensive at the moment - £2.58 for a double, & tonic only 40p. Good arrangements for social distancing, track & trace etc. All major football shown- would recommend booking a table at peak times. Would highly recommend a visit here.

I'm usually a regular but haven't been in since this all happened and have been a bit dubious about coming into a pub especially during current affairs but I've got to say that I feel absolutely at home, table service and trays for pints to make sure no contact beforehand and track and trace upon entry. I visited Hudsons on the day that lockdown was re-imposed and to say that I was impressed would be an understatement. The establishment swiftly implimented new safety measures to ensure service could be as normal as possible which made me feel like I was in a safe and controlled environment. A member of staff was quick to greet me as I entered the pub to explain the new changes put in place, including track and trace, table service and a one-way system. This year has been a challenging time for workers in the service industry and I think the way that Hudsons is handling it should set the standard. c:

Been drinking along with many other people in Hudsons for many many years, never had any problems to complain about all the staff are attentive and always serve with a smile even when extra busy. I've never seen one fight or even argument that involved people getting removed. Everyone frequents this pub for a good time and even all the customers are friendly to one another. And last but not at all least the resident DJ Chris is always happy to oblige with any song requests and is always cheery. Haven't been to a pub that makes me feel so comfortable and welcome and proud to call it my local.

I have been in Hudson's a couple of times now since the relaxing if the lockdown rules. One thing that strikes me everytime I come in is the warm welcome and clear explanation of what is required during my stay. Hao always makes me (and everyone else I overhear) feel welcome and safe in what is clearly a difficult time for everyone involved. Each time I come in it seems like there are new, improved ways to make my stay feel more enjoyable despite the restrictions in atmosphere (music, football etc). This tells me that the staff are understanding of the continuous changes to the covid rules and proves that they are dynamic in their approach and genuinely have the best interests of their customers and staff. Their dedication to safety is clear. I myself work customer facing, and I can say with certainty how difficult it is to try and manage people's expectations and I can see that the staff genuinely care about the customer experience. It isn't easy working in the current climate but you'd never know that from the way in which the Hudson's staff work. Well done guys 👌🏼

I had the best night in ages tonight welcoming in my 22nd Birthday!! Everyone made sure we were well looked after tonight especially Hao!! I’ve never been on a Tuesday night where the boys haven’t been made welcome to be honest! We all feel like part of the family/ furniture in Hudson’s but we couldn’t be happier with all the staff and environment it the best place to be - we are treated like family in here and that’s what makes a difference between a pub and a place for friends and family to come. Good prices, decent weekly pub events (Wed quiz night, Thursday Open mic etc) and staff are nice, especially the female manager who is quite attentive when serving you. The clientele ruin it though sometimes, like roudy drunk old men or neds looking to pick a fight but the staff quickly get on that and remove any problems. IV been a local here for years but it's not 5 star material.

I'm an engineer working in pubs across the north of the UK, so get to see behind the scenes at many, many places owned by different pub chains. Hudsons is about the cleanest pub I have ever visited, both front of house, and, more significantly, back of house, too. You really can judge a place, and how its run, by what's behind closed doors. Visiting this week, the prospect of spending time a pub on the edge of a shopping centre, opposite a bus station, in a new town wasn't something I was looking forward to. However, seeing the public areas for the first time at "early o'clock" with no-one in them made me think that the place had just been freshly-refurbished. Not so - the last makeover was three years ago. It's a credit to how the place is run that it is so strikingly smart. I can usually get the measure of a pub manager within less than a minute, and Graeme impressed me with his friendliness, knowledge of the business, and enthusiasm for cask ale. Some managers are obviously just "doing a job". Graeme seems to genuinely enjoy what he's doing, and understands it well. Typically, a good manager will mean the pub is well-managed on all levels. Astonishingly, the bar tops were treated with spray polish, dazzlingly shiny, and you could probably flick a beer mat along the full 20 foot length of one, and have it fall off the end. In some other places, I avoid touching the bar top at all, as I may struggle to prise my hand off it. Spilled drink mess, dried out, makes a good adhesive. Landlords, don't try and cover it up with clutter, as we can still tell... Some pubs, like people, are immaculate but dull. Not so here. There's obviously a core of daytime regulars. Typically, in other pubs, these can be "characterful" sorts. There was great craic between bar staff and the semi-residents. A calm and fun atmosphere, not drink-fuelled edgy like other places I've worked. Sadly, some pubs seem to be day-care centres for those on the edge of society. "Care in the Community" with a pint. Three or four casks were on. Being a CAMRA member, I could talk vaguely intelligently with Graeme about what "moves", why it sells, and other such beery babble. The cellar is obviously well-managed. Hao, the assistant manager (I think - certainly the "boss lady" despite any titles...) really did made me smile with whip-smart wit, classic Glaswegian "in-your-face, but friendly" banter, mixed in with that classic Far Eastern charming abruptness, a formidable combination. She kept me watered with Diet Coke with fresh lemons and limes. Very much appreciated, and another small sign of the pub truly understanding hospitality. Much slicing of limes and lemons was going on, another telling attention to detail. Compare and contrast with the festering three-day-old ones slung in drinks in other pubs. Do I sound impressed? I spend a lot of time in these places, acting like a dumb engineer but observing closely. Hudsons really was outstanding, a refreshing place to visit after hard and grimy work in other less-well-managed places. They deserve success, and your custom!

A staple of Cornwall street been here for decades minor self aggrandizement from some staff, small lot and has disabled facilities which is a plus akward stairs to the gents toilets which can be hard to climb when drunk! Pricing is pretty good attracts the Ladbrokes Oldies from next door. Probably the best pub in the town centre overall by far. Does not offer food which though there are many surrounding options for that.
