Good food pleasant staff and great service. A nice area to sit outside in the sun having a Latte to complete an enjoyable meal. Vegan and vegetarian options certainly pleased my dining partners . I enjoyed a more meaty option.

We won a steak dinner for 2 and the food was delicious. I opted for the mixed grill instead of the steak and it was huge!!! Cooked exactly as I asked and very tasty. Hadn't been there for ages due to covid but will be back soon!

Group of friends with 2 dogs - we were made to feel safe, comfortable and welcome and the staff were very friendly. Anita was our server and she couldn't have been more helpful. We had a good laugh and the food was great quality and well priced. Establishment was clean and had great covid precautions in place.

Me and my son went here tonight. It's easily the best cooked meal we've had whilst eating out for years. I got the mixed grill - the steak was cooked the way I asked for and the egg was cooked perfectly too. I'm not even a fan of onion rings but even they were nice so I ate them 😄 My son commented on how good his dinner was and he's a fussy eater so that's saying something. The guy who served us was really efficient. I don't usually leave reviews but credit where credit is due.

We visited on a Bank Holiday Monday and were served very pleasantly and efficiently by Charis. We are regulars, as I'm addicted to their buffalo cauliflower wings. Burgers and pizza are great too and prices very reasonable.

Been to Jenny Burn many times. Always been a great experience. Dog friendly and the dog menu is great. Service is amazing… been served by Keira a few times. Very attentive and professional. She goes out her way to make sure her guests are happy. An asset to the pub.

The Jenny Burns new menu is really nice had the potato skins, steak and burger and desserts and all were really nice. Our pup also had a lovely time and really substantial meal from the dog menu. Charis our server was absolutely lovely and really good at her job, very professional and friendly.

We availed ourselves of the Thursday offer of 2 main courses and a bottle of wine for £23. The red wine was a Hardys shiraz and was very palatable. I had the mixed grill whereas my companion had the sirloin steak. Two others in our party had burgers with all the trimmings. The food was delicious. For dessert we shared the ice cream sundae among 3 of us. It was more than enough for us, very rich and tasty. One of our party had the sticky toffee pudding and custard which was "very tasty". We had booked for inside but as it was such a nice day(unusual for Scotland) we asked to be seated outside. A nice convivial evening watching the world go by outside. Thanks goes to Angela for her friendly attentive manner.

As we are regular customers (at least once a week)we find the staff excellent and they always remember our names and treat us with great care and respect and nothing is too much bother.The food is always very good and presented well hence the reason we have been going there since it opened.

They have disabled parking and big doors for easy wheelchair access 🙄. Toilets are run down as I'd decor letting the staff and customers down( come on Marstons). We had breakfast and an evening meal here. Both were lovely good portions. One disappointing thing was belchers frozen lorne sausage 😕 pork links were an option for some but a Scottish breakfast should have lorne. That apart breakfast 😋 was yummy haggis went down a treat. Staff were lovely and friendly couldn't do enough to make sure everything went well. We will be back

Arrived to a fairly quiet environment WAITED for the designated person to show us to a table !! As in every licensed premises we were asked immediately for a drinks order and one ()of two) did not have a lime in the neck of the bottle - after waiting my partner had to go to the bar and remind the server who was TALKING with another staff member The steaks were fine and cooked well As we were 'hidden' at table 10 no-one came down to ask if everything was OK - we think we were forgotten about Drinks far too expensive for the location Discount of 30% on the main meal should have been inclusive of the pepper sauce but wasnt Overall a reasonable experience but..........................................!

Starters were wonderful my gamon steak main was brilliant although some of the chunky fries were a bit under done unfortunately my wife's burger was a different matter, 2 patties on the bun 1 cooked ok the other was totally cremated round the edges and centre well over done, it was raised to staff but due to how long it took to arrive in the first instance we declined a replacement, between starter and main was a delay of around 25 mins with waiting staff chasing kitchen on 2 occasions.

Hi there My daughter has Epilepsy and Autism and it sometimes can be nightmare taking her out. It was her birthday and we decided to go to the Jenny Burn for an early lunch. I have to say that all the staff and in particular Sid made us feel so welcome. Sid seemed to understand our daughter (Autism) and when he brought out her birthday cake, he made her feel so special. Slight mix up between the order for our table and the table next to us but the server was new and you could tell she was extremely nervous. Because of the mix up 20% was deducted from our bill. Would definitely go back as apart from that everything was great.

Excellent Server who continually apologised but... food was presented well and very tasty but pod or two of peas, really, where are the vegetables, a common practice of making it an 'extra' no it's not an extra. Would consider a revisit in time but only A la Carte at midday, no it's short sighted.

My sister and I went in for a meal. The meal was lovely. The staff were so lovely. Our waiter Nigel, Kira (I think that was her name) and another young man surname Dunn were ever so helpful as my sister took ill and I had to get her home. The above staff came to our assistance by getting my sister water, and a cold cloth, the young man Dunn got us a cab and the young lady helped me get my sister to the cab. They were excellent. Unfortunately by the time we got home my sister had to be rushed to hospital. The decor of restaurant, the assistance and choice of food was lovely albeit a short visit. Staff were lovely but the food is no longer up to scratch . My daughter asked for for a rare steak and got a medium one . She sent it back and it was still overcooked . I only had a prawn cocktail . There’s not much you can do to that but the sauce was vinegary . The bread and butter supposed to come with it cane as bread and flora margarine . Not acceptable . I won’t be returning

Easy to book and gave us 2 hours which is a good amount of time. Plesent atmosphere for a family pub/restaurant. Only negative being the coffee machine was broken so was offered instant coffee. In a time where alcohol sales are banned in hospitality, they should make sure the alternative drinks are available.

Out of all the chain restaurants, this one didn't have the pay at a table set up as yet or a problem with the website. Booking online was easy and once the app or restaurant is ready for app payments, it will be great. As I said, in the past food has been excellent, but not this night sorry.

Went here to start a works night out and it did not disappoint. Had the biggest burger I think I've ever had and really enjoyed it. The rest off the guys enjoyed their meals as well so I would recommend the Jenny Burn for a meal and I will certainly go back again. Reasonable prices my burger was £10 but well worth it.

Went here for the first time with work colleagues to celebrate 2 of the girls' birthdays. There were 26 of us therefore we pre placed the order. The service was fantastic, waiting staff were just lovely and completely on the ball. I honestly couldn't have found fault if I had tried. Would highly recommend it and I will most definitely return.

A family friendly establishment in the southside of Glasgow. Comfortable environment with good seating inside and out. Reasonably priced and good quality but the cooking of the food could be better on occasion. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall a good place and a necessity of a place for this area.

The food is lovely, the place is lovely. We went on a bad day, some staff had walked out & left the very nice waiter to run 22 tables virtually on his own. Hence nearly 3 hours for a two course meal. We will give here another try as these things can happen. Overall really good.

Great place for a drink, friendly staff, lovely location next to a park and lake. The place is new and fresh. Clean and tidy. Unfortunately the food let them down. Whilst not terrible, it was just average, not what you expect. It is known for it's pizza so maybe you will have luck with that. Also I note it's got a playground inside and out for the younger children.

The restaurant has installed the social distancing measures, and have opened with a limited menu. The Sunday roast was nice although, the desserts were not the same, hopefully the old menu will return soon.

Visited with family. Food is ok. Average really and not that much to write home about. It's basic pub grub. Service is beyond slow sadly and with young children that is less than ideal. Also, drinks are not allowed in the garden next to the play area so we were told so we couldn't have a drink while supervising the children playing on the outdoor equipment. Fair enough if that meant alcohol but apparently it included soft drinks. Shame no one mentioned that to previous patron who had left glasses in the grass near the picnic benches in said garden beside play area. The female bar staff who served us repeatedly was very pleasant and cordial. A pity that the same couldn't be said for the surly waitress who forgot to bring our drinks, twice. Don't think we will be returning unfortunately, it's just not that good.

Me & my boyfriend have came down to this wee pub a few times and it’s always been nice. Today was really sunny and was busier than usual. The staff were doing their best but it was the busiest I’ve seen it. It looked understaffed and Siobhan, Des and Lorne were taking cheek off the punters but were so nice and coped well with everyone’s orders. Any negative reviews are people with zero patience and bad attitudes towards people doing their best.

Very nice restaurant, plenty of space and things to keep kids entertained. The menu is massive maybe slightly too big but you’ll definitely find something you’ll like! Food is good, not amazing but good for a family pub type of place. Staff very helpful and friendly. Will be back soon!

Went in the week for a business lunch and decided to take my family for a meal on Friday. Mainly because they make fresh pizza and my son was excited Bout the stuffed base pizza. I know stuffed base!!! Not bad for the money and a pleasant atmosphere. There's a pond and old boating building to the rear, but ( And I know this is not the Jenny Burns fault) but it's in a dreadful state and the swans swimming around the dog poo bins and other rubbish thrown into the pond kinda downgrades the location. A lot of new builds are going up around the Jenny Burns and hopefully the council will spend some of the new council tax on bringing the pond back into a fit state. But I'd recommend the pub and restaurant, just give the pond a swerve for now

Weatherspoon type place. Service was a bit slow. Ok food, nothing exceptional, same as weatherspoon but a bit more expensive. Caters a lot to kids so if your not keen on kids prob best to avoid, as it seems to be looking for the young family. If you have kids it might be worth it as there's a lot of play areas for them. I wouldn't go back as Picture house and weatherspoon in Rutherglen are similar with better choice of drinks.
