Went for the Scotland Rugby game, stayed all day. Amazing atmosphere and a really nice pint. Definitely recommend eating here too! Superb pub grub. I had the cauliflower wings and the fish n chips. Tasty!

Spacious place with lots of outdoor seating (with rain cover overhead) and indoor booths. Professional and helpful staff. Decent food and drinks for a reasonable price, and they have TVs dotted around for anyone who fancies watching sports. Smoking outside allowed. Easy to get somewhere to sit without a booking!

Popped in with Liz and Charlie after a walk in the park. It's dog friendly, outside only ,I think. Anyway we sat outside, there are bowls and a barrell of water for Charlie, self service obviously. Drinks reasonably priced, staff helpful and friendly enough. We were hoping to eat there as we had before and it was lovely, only to be told that there was a function on, the kitchen was swamped and they wouldn't take my order 😤. Apart from that, all good and definitely worth a visit

A nice building with a typical Greene King menu. The kitchen was very slow (staff storage perhaps) and the food was ordinary. Inside the televisions are so loud you can't talk. Probably ideal if you're wanting to want TV; not great if you're after a meal and company.

I was excited to come here to celebrate my girlfriend's bday, however, I was not disappointed . Not even a minutes wait time to get in or get a drink. On top of this the vibe was phenomenal. Warm and the music was delightful. Would come back here in a heartbeat. THEY ARE 'HOME' OF SIX NATIONS. AND I DONT DOUBT IT FOR A SECOND.

Went in on a reasonably busy Sunday night before going to a comedy show and was very impressed by both the food and the service. Steak pie was very tender, at first it didn't look like a lot of meat but it was hiding under the gravy, and the extra mini saucepan of gravy was a nice touch. Fish and chips again really nice, fish cooked very well it was fairly big and had a really nice crispy batter. The Eton Mess was extremely tasty, a good way to finish off the great main courses that we had. Highly recommended.

Overall its reasonable price. The drink has a good variety. The seating outside is good and covered in parts. I like the pub and for sports it's definitely got it covered with a few tv's outside as well! The whole staff checking you in at the gait is a bit of a pain if people ahead of you don't have the right app. Would be good if they let people who did in. However that's not entirely the fault of the pub The app is not the best and hard to find some stuff. Again not the bars fault.

Enjoy the schoolhouse, but after lockdown been hard to book online, after managing a great outside seat on Sunday afternoon & speaking with staff , advice on how to hopefully help book in future was good. App worked perfectly , and really spot on with sanitisation , staff very thorough 👌. Looking forward to visiting again...inside or out! Great work Schoolhouse.

This is one of only a few places where you can get a Pint of Brewdog Punk IPA.The price has jumped up a bit (£5.35)since the closure through Covid.This is a popular and well set out place with partitioning between seating in the grounds outside.Seating inside,of course is possible too.

Great meal here today. We had 3 courses, Prawn Coctail for me and Chicken Strips for my friend, Followed by the Veggie Burger and sweet potatoe fries for me while my friend had the fish and we ended with apple pie and ice cream, pints of shandy accompanied the meal. We sat outside in the sunshine shaded by a big table brollie and it was great. Thought it would be noisy with all the traffic noise but it was great, surprising how a brick wall and some wicker work can dampen the noise. Staff were awesome, cleaning and disinfecting tables, serving meals and genuinely seeing to our comfort. Will definitely go again.

It seems this place reinvents itself every six or seven years, it was the hogshead then the primary and now the old schoolhouse. Great inexpensive place to come and have a drink and a bite to eat, they’ve expanded the beer garden over Covid which has made it a great place to pop over to after an afternoon at “Kelvingrove Beach”. Dog friendly outside, not sure about inside.

Overall a nice place for some comfy food, having a pint (you might want to try some of the crafts beer first, before ordering a round of those though) or watching sports. Would make a reservation though, because it can get quite crowded. They take credit cards.

Very nicely presented pub in a handy West End location. Was very busy on this visit - if going for food, I'd recommend booking a table. The food is excellent, with a good range of choices on the menu. The bar serves a huge range of drinks including a gluten free offering from West Brewery. Outdoor seating area is nice, but despite having overhead heaters it's still a bit too chilly to dine outside at this time of year. Lovely pub that never disappoints when my brass band visit for our Christmas night out.

Went here to watch the Rugby World Cup on a Saturday morning. Their special World Cup breakfast was good value for money and tasty too, also had bottomless tea and coffee! Great large venue with friendly staff.

I've been 2 the old schoolhouse with my family many times in the past - usually during the summer holidays where me & my folks have sat out at the beer garden outside. I've also recently been 2 the old schoolhouse with my work colleagues on a work night out just before Christmas. Had a Mac n cheese with salad meal with glass of pressco. Then I had pink G&T. Both glass of pressco & Pink G&T were £4.99. Not bad 4 a nice glass of fizz. The staff were friendly & food service was quick. Before ending my evening with a soft drink: cola. Food & drinks are brillant as always! 5 stars from me! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ☺😊😀👍🍷🍝🍹🍴

Atmosphere is good, decent place for a drink. Food is less than mediocre, honestly don't bother. Mac and Cheese somehow £8 despite being somehow far worse than Cheesy Pasta. Lukewarm, not creamy at all. Garlic bread it comes with is squishy and unpleasant. "side salad" is all onion.

Great pub, especially for watching sports. Everywhere you turn you can see a big telly. The only criticism I have is that the drinks are slightly expensive for Glasgow, and that I'd prefer the commentary for a big sports match to be turned up a little. That is personal preference though. A nice wide selection of beer too.
