Reviews of The Bon Accord
M. B.
One of the best whisky experiences you can get in Glasgow. Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The owner Paul is an absolute legend!! Go and grab a dram and a beer, you will not be disappointed!!
B. P.
Nice wee place in the corner, too meet locals and watch football !! Got nice small food menu, good food!!
R. H.
Great place for food and drink.
Draught lagers and real ales on tap.
The whisky gantry is to die for.
Lovely pub grub at very reasonable prices.Their steak pie is always tasty.
Friendly and attentive waiting and kitchen staff.
Even when busy. As it usually is.
If you've not been before, definitely worth a visit. You won't be disappointed.
D. D.
Great selection of hand-pumped real ales. Welcoming, friendly staff. Food looked good but I didn't eat there myself.
T. M.
Most likely the greatest Pub in the world for all Whisky lovers. The food is great (would call it sort od pub food). But the arrangement of Whiskies made this pub really special. Download the app!! for the Whisky bottles open to have such a great time.
T. R.
Absolutely incredible pub. First class service. The best assortment of whiskies you'll find nowhere else, ideally situated with transport links. Friendly locals and staff. Very highly recommended !!!
G. R.
Great bar and service, friendly bar staff, excellent selection of whisky and beers, nice food
E. D.
One of the best pubs I've ever been to. Great ales and whisky, really friendly staff, and an environment that's great all-over.
P. F.
Very decent two course pub lunch for £7.95. Excellent staff/service. Superb pint of Marston's Pedigree. Nice old fashioned decor.
J. L.
Great choice of Cask Ales. The most awesome Scotch Malt Whisky gantry. Good food helpful friendly sraff.
P. C.
I hadn’t been in for a while but visited last Friday with friends. I didn’t eat but the food looked wholesome. The atmosphere was friendly and the staff were pleasant and helpful but I was very disappointed to be told that the only Scottish ale available was Deuchars. There are so many excellent craft brewers in Scotland and all that was on offer was Deuchars. Not the Bon Accord that I remember unfortunately.
S. M.
Over 30 years since I was last in the Bon Accord and it's exactly what I remember, birthday lunch with my family, 5 of us sitting and eating a spacious table, food was traditional fare and it was superb, very reasonable priced for 5 meals, 3 sweets and plenty of alcoholic drinks and the bill was under £90. Definitely won't leave it so long till I'm back in this great establishment.
M. C.
A great traditional pub, service is the fastest and most attentive I have ever seen in a busy bar. Choice of ales a slight disappointment having drunk in The State Bar a few days earlier, however whiskey options were unbeatable. Footie, banter or grub; barstool, table or armchair - A great place to meet!
D. G.
This pub has always given excellent service from when it first opened at the start of the 1970s . And it current owner of the past 21 years Paul McDonagh is carrying on and making the place even better ! The selection of whisky awards the pub has achieved regularly stands testament to the quality this lovely pub continues to give and welcoming old and new faces gives this place that great homely feel to everyone 👍
f. w.
Great pub with home cooked food and a whopping selection of whisky. My other half saw the reviews for this place so we popped in for some lunch while visiting Glasgow. Strange location on the side of the motorway but don't let that put you off. We got there before 12 and nearly all the tables were booked out for lunch, a really good sign. They have an amazing value special 2 course deal on for 6.95. The food was home cooked and delicious and served quickly. By the time we left the place was packed. Very popular and deservedly so. Had a lovely lunch.
I. K.
Simply one of the best pubs in Glasgow. The range of whiskies on offer is stunning! Food is good too!
K. S.
Brilliant pub, great choice of ales and whisky. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Well worth a visit when in Glasgow.
R. Y.
Awesome range of beers, ales and whiskies. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cosy traditional atmosphere.
D.
Legendary Glasgow traditional pub / whisky bar, with great atmosphere. Does good bar food too.
B. G.
Absolutely excellent, food was lovely, ale was great, and whisky lovely ***** staff were brilliant.
M. J.
One of the best places in Glasgow. Friendly, good pub grub, great beers and if you're a malt whisky fan - heaven
L. H. C.
This is a great little pub. On our trip it was the best selection of scotch we could find in Glasgow. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations based on our tastes. The bar had plenty of people but wasn't crowded. We got a seat at 9pm on a Saturday without any trouble.
There are a few beers on draft and in bottles if that's what you prefer. No food, just peanuts and crisps.
d. b.
Had not been here for many years and was delighted to see that it's unique ambiance was unchanged. Friendly service and good food at very reasonable prices made it a very welcome return. Will certainly be back
J. P.
Ten handpumps; a velvety damson porter; steak and chips at insanely-reasonable prices; bar staff of elite-level skill; brilliant landlord; fantastic atmosphere; and terrific whiskeys. The Bon Accord is now my favourite pub in Scotland.
J. L.
Great pub well known for its vast selection of whiskies, no traditional Scottish beers good meals pleasant staff.
K. K.
Great selection o booze. Friendly staff. Plus, yer shoes make a lovely tippy tappy sound on the floor, like it would've in a pub in 1853. Also that one lass on the bar with curly dark hair had beautiful smiley eyes and it made me feel happy.
L. T.
Amazing atmosphere. Great selection of Whisky and really friendly staff. Spent a couple of hours here sampling Whisky. Immaculate toilets - super clean and loved the fact they had some emergency feminine products and other personal bits and bobs that people could help themselves to.
A. E.
Great old fashioned bar with a nice selection of beers and spirits.
L. I.
Fabulous pub staff are very attentive and they do a very reasonable 2 course lunch. Will definitely be back with my mum who loves a steak pie.
B.
Amazing pub and dining area ! Friendly welcoming team and has to be the cleanest cared for bar I have ever been in, Totally amazing home cooked pub grub ! Chef you are Amazing ! You have it down to a fine art, delicious, not to mention the massive selection of whiskey 🥃 Cheers you are all great !
M.
One of the best pubs in Glasgow. Great real ales and a wide range of whiskies.
B. M.
What more can you say about the Bon Accord. Great staff, great beer. Best in Glasgow by far
R. E.
Fantastic pub that welcomes all kinds of people, whether they are are whisky fans or not. Great good, welcoming atmosphere and a generous host. Best pub in Glasgow, and award winning too.
S. S.
Non intimidating whisky bar, with a great mix of clientele. Just a teeny bit from the heart of the city centre, which makes it cosy instead of chaotic. Friendly staff as well.
g. m.
How can you not love this auld Glasgow pub. I first went as a young man in 1977. Great pub, every Whisky Scotland has produced and variety of Ales. Staff courteous and friendly
L. H.
This was the first place that I tasted real ale in the seventies as a student in Scotland and was immediately converted. At that time it was owned by the Gallagher family with McLays of Alloa, Bellhaven and other beers from south of the border. There was a dance floor in the back at that time too that I think Kirsty G ran.
I always go back to this pub on my trail back home and love their macaroni cheese with a good real ale pint.
Keep up the quality and value.
Thanks
T. C. B.
One of the best pubs in Glasgow, great selection of beers and spirits - is well known for the vast whisky selection too. Staff are always fantastic too.
C. H.
What an amazing place this is to eat in , I used to come here many moons ago when I was a young guy , fantastic food and amazing service from all the staff working there, incredible value for money and just the best atmosphere you can ask for, will definitely be back again soon with my good friends for another afternoon of good food and drinks, 10/10 all round 👍
D. E.
Authentic local yet welcoming for a tourist like myself. I know nothing about Scotch and so it was great that the barman took the time to recommend something to my taste. It was very informative and the guy was clearly passionate about Scotch. Overall a great experience and a highlight of my trip.
S. B.
This pub has quickly become our local. The whiskey selection is fantastic.
J. I. (.
The best places in Scotland.
There are so many different kinds of whisky and everyone in it is kind
And pleasant to travel to Scotland and must stop by if you like whisky.
N. S.
This place not only has a ridiculous whisky selection with their own app, but also has the best cider I've ever had. Ironically enough its from NZ yet I can't get it here in Aus! Staff were really friendly and lovely too.
j. g.
First time there and loved it, staff were brilliant didn't have food but the next time we will it looked great
L. K.
Super helpful, great selection, and perfect environment for tasting whiskey with a few chips!
J. S.
Great selection of single malts, serves real ale, food, wines and spirits. Layed back atmosphere good for couples friends and family.
D. D.
Lovely pub...friendly helpful staff, great atmosphere, food excellent value for money
M. C.
Great pub with friendly staff, my first visit but would be happy to go back.
D. L.
A lovely place to drink and eat, whisky collect ion is nog massive but selection is good, especially independent bottlings.
Don't missed Bon Accord malt bottling - Tullibardine 24 years old, highly recommend
B. H.
Great bar, an absolute staple of the area.
Another bar though that has a £5 minimum on card payments. Get it sorted Bon Accord!
M. K.
My wife and I called into The Bon Accord on Friday for the first time for food, drinks and most importantly, whisky. The food was great and there's a brilliant atmosphere. There's literally any whisky you could want and whilst ordering at the bar I got talking to the owner who was extremely welcoming and clearly an enthusiast! We had a great time and I will definitely be back at the next opportunity!
M. G.
Awwww man, this place, the whiskies, the staff - everything about it was great.
We only popped in for a wee dram each and the welcome and service was everything we could have asked.
Real friendly and knowledgable bar staff. Gave us all the time he could. Talked us through whisky options, checked with us what we were happy with spending first - so know price ambushes or pushy selling. Just a genuine whisky lover sharing his passion and a world of knowledge.
Being a local pub, it would have been easy to feel an outsider, but no, the staff made it a highlight of our weekend in Glasgow.
Recommended, whatever your knowledge and experience of whisky, they will meet you where you're at and you'll be better off for it.
d. t.
Love this pub, good value food and great beer
N. S.
Great selection of whiskys and ales, and helpful service. Quite old-school which is what you would expect from this kind of a real ‘institution’.
D.
Great selection of bourbons and whisky's with pretty decent and friendly staff the majority of the time. It can get really busy at the weekends with limited seating so prepare to stand but well worth it if you want a decent drink at a decent price in a decent Glaswegian bar not full of neds.
M. F.
Wow. Looks and feels like a fresher version of its own self. The staff are exceptional. Truly.
But the food...the food. 13 quid for a sirloin with all the trimmings was unbelievable - cooked perfectly. Old fashioned's for 6 quid.
Perfect pints too.
So, so glad i took the detour home and remembered this gem of a place.
And did i mention the staff?
Friendly, warm and attentive.
Bloody good show Bon Accord!
F. C.
First time in this pub restaurant, just a really nice experience in a very nice pub that's kept its heritage alive, very good special of the day and reasonable prices, recommend a visit, nice to find a place that's really a hidden gem.. yes there happy to see you!
A. S.
Nice to get back to this pub on a rare visit to Glasgow. Still offering good value food, and a selection of well-kept ales. Not as crowded as the city centre pubs, though it's not actually all that far away. Also has a back entrance that I didn't previously know about.
m.
Great pub in Glasgow City centre! Has a really traditional feel. Fantastic selection of whisky! The staff were very helpful when it came to choosing a whisky.
J. T.
First time visiting the Bon Accord for a long time and it is still as busy as it ever was. A very popular Glasgow pub which should be on any visitors to Glasgow list of places to visit. Fantastic selection of beers, wines and spirits and great staff that make everyone feel welcome.
A. “. H.
My favourite bar in the UK!!
Great selection of ales and a phenomenal selection of whiskies. Also does good food and shows live sport!
If you are ever in Glasgow then this is a must!!
G. M.
Great relaxing place, lots of whisky and beer to try.
B. H.
Great Beer and good food The dish of the day was greatand a generous portion
Y. S.
Busy at seven with groups eating. Beer was very good especially the Kelburn Jaguar. Food was reasonably priced home fare. Steak pie was delicious.
I. M.
This among the top Whisky Bars in Scotland, my favourite. The owner is one of the most knowledable Whisk aficionados and a really friendly and talkative host.
D. S.
The real ale mecca in Glasgow. More traditional than modern, but great beer and lots of other libations, great selection of malt whiskies too. Not changed in the last year.check it out
L. W.
Fantastic place if you love whiskey an ale then this is a must visit
C. J.
Friendly staff with good range of real ales and good quality and tasty food at very reasonable prices. Much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. Will go back next time we are in Glasgow!
N. E. P.
Great food, always good atmosphere, lovely staff and excellent service. Family run business with many rewards (no surprise on the rewards once you experience The Bon Accord!).
L. H.
Fabulous, hearty and delicious food. Portions are huge! Staff very friendly and attentive.
J. L.
Good selection of their own whiskeys. Food was good with friendly service at the table.

J. W.
Great pub . Nice bar staff and a friendly atmosphere.
G. T.
Electric Bear, Werrrd APA, took me by surprise, a wow! ale.
Sadly, I had to talk to Paul for the next two hours....😎
It is wonderful to still have the raport after 18 years...😫
C. H.
What a gem!!!! Fantastic selection of beers on the bar. Excellent food and very friendly staff. We'll be back!!
C. H.
Friendly staff, so much whisky to choose from and the knowledgeable team can help curate a great tasting experience.
s.
Bar staff extremely friendly and thoroughly enjoyed being introduced to new tastes and details of the drams to help me choose.
J. B.
Great pub. Great staff. Great atmosphere.
N. H.
Great place with excellent staff. Food was also very good. Staff were enthusiastic and helpful and very tolerance to my "American Naivete". Defi6woryh a stop by when in Glasgow
S. D.
Absolutely love this place. Amazing choice of whiskies, great beers.Welcoming, very friendly and knowledgeable owner, same goes for his son and the rest of the staff. Great pub, great atmosphere, authentic place!
Please note I've not had food here so my review and note is not taking it into account.
S. C.
Yes, the food is great. The staff is friendly and the prices are moderate. Just stop in for lunch or dinner and you won't be disappointed. The apple pie and the cheeseburger I had were great. I wanted the steak but they had run out. Lots of bottles in this place. Guinness on tap and other local beers.
A. G.
Great pub for whisky lovers! The stuff know a Lot about different varieties and brands so they will always offer good recommendations. Besides, price wise, it isn't expensive. Two pints of Guinness cost around £8. Definitely a good spot!
L. A.
Lovely ambiance, cracking food at good prices, good choice of drinks and excellent staff. Well worth a visit.
R. c.
Good pub for grub an a beer 🐻
m.
Probably the greatest pub on the planet for a whisky fan and ale drinker. Cheap and cheerful pub grub, knowledgeable helpful staff, good ale choice with superb local brews and an absolutely outstanding selection of whiskies. What more could you want from a genuine, quality, friendly Glasgow boozer?
J. K.
Great pub with an amazing array of scotch and ales on tap, great spot for food too.
F. e.
This is a great place to get reasonably priced food and sample a great variety of whiskey. The service was ok, but not really a pledge were they're looking for tourists too discover. The steak pie was amazing, the giant Yorkshire pudding was overpowered by the peppercorn sauce
B. F.
Lovely traditional pub, good local real ales
P. K.
Top pub top staff see ya in september cheers 😁😁😊😁
A. Y.
Lovely little spot. Felt like a local watering hole. Food was delicious. Highly recommend the steak pie. They have a free downloadable app to help you choose your whiskey. Good price for a night out.
G. B.
Great wee whisky pub but also does a good range of other drinks. Good for coffee if your wanting a light drink. Food served until around 7pm. Menu usually simple but always nice enough. Service always usually quick.
Quiz on a Wednesday night is a wee challenge, worth a go as it's free and has a mixed bag of questions.
d. B.
Amazing place to sample some fine Scottish hospitality, a decent dram and wide selection of local craft beers. Decent pub grub offered as well. You really must visit and give it a go. Smashing all round, lovely little beer garden sun trap out the back for summer too.
C. B.
We popped across to eat on our arrival for overnight stay in Glasgow. Meals were on the small side, but tasted great. Beers were good as was service. Quite a popular place, and soon filled up for a Sunday evening
C. H.
Lovely pub, a very agreeable pint and decent food. Service and price spot on too.
Y. B.
This is a must-go place while hosting international visitors. Excellent venue with fuss-free dining area for a quick business lunch. Amazing bar for dram enthusiasts. They also have lovely staff, who, as I understand, are all family?
Finally, my (only) favourite old-man's-pub, also accepts American Express!! Fantastic!!
C.
Great local pub. Excellent food. The meat pie and fish and chips are on point. Great portion size. Wait staff is very friendly. Over 400 whiskeys on tap!! Credit card machine was inop, so my group had to leave the pub to find a cash machine.
C. W.
Thanks to Thomas and all the Bon Accord staff for accommodating our family for dinner last Saturday. All staff were super-friendly and we had a wonderful night!
C. Y.
A very friendly and safe atmosphere in a centrally located family owned pub. Excellent range of Scotch Single Malt whisky and real ales. Highly recommended home cooking at very reasonable prices.
A. M.
Great friendly place nice brandy but where are the brandy glasses
M. H.
Great range of cask ales, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere, beer garden at the back. Proper locals pub. Moderately priced, shame no discount for camra members but wouldn't put me off visiting again. In fact will be back next time I'm up there. Oh and if you like whiskey just ask the bar staff they know their stuff and there's loads to choose from.
M. B.
Beautiful local pub with great selection of beers and excellent food. Absolute bargain for the daily special deal. The staff are very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is cosy and comfortable. This place has live music occasionally but doesn't drone on with too loud music or sports most nights. Would definitely recommend.
S. M.
Been going to this pub over 40 years the reason is that it is one of the best pub's in Glasgow great selection of drink great food and great staff, the only negative part is the TV's I hate television in pubs
f. a.
Great food. Nice beer and lots of whisky to choose. Nice staff.
C. B.
Great pub. A proper pub. Great selection of beers and whisky. Highly recommend this place
P. C.
Nice traditional pub with large seating area to rear.
Took lots of table reservations for drinkers later in evening. Thankfully I was leaving before then but it meant that folk who had sat at tables would be thrown off them later. Though this is typical of pub management in Glasgow now.
Too hot, heating was on even though it want that could outside.
R. H.
So where to start, the BonAccord is absolutely awesome. First and foremost because of the staff. There were three young ladies working all knowledgeable about whisky and so totally super friendly. Then, of course, there is the whisky, an outstanding collection and at reasonable to extravagant price points. If you're in Glasgow and appreciate whisky or just want to experience and absolutely lovely afternoon pop into the BonAccord
K. K.
Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.
Back in the eighties this was THE pub to go to in Glasgow... so what has changed. Answer: NOTHING and that is the problem.
Decent pub with a good selection of beers and spirits but little has changed over the years.
I understand that they want to keep the traditional pub feel but this place lacked intimacy, character something. Compare to a rival such as The Pot Still which has maintained traditional character but which is always lively and interesting, this just fees tired. Sorry
D. B.
Always a cracking place to go for a beer or a dram. Their app is a technology wonder if you like to geek out on facts, origins, casks etc... they do a really decent bar meal as well which goes like a fair. Would not hesitate to recommend this place for anything.
Staff are always super knowledgable and friendly and do the place justice.
Paul and his team are an absolute gem in the city and well worth supporting!!
Would have given it 6* if i could 👍
G. K.
Famously excellent selection of Scottish beers and whiskies. Extremely good to be back!
G. B.
Great ale, silkie stout is amazing
M. A.
Comfortable seating and distancing. Fabulous gantry. Menu nice, varied and daily menu on blackboard. A nice garden out back of pub. Very pleasant and friendly staff.
S. H.
Amazing whisky selection. There's an app if you want to peruse the options by yourself, or the bar staff are always very knowledgeable and happy to talk you through the options. Fabulous comfortable chairs too.
J. S.
A special place. Staff are always welcoming and rotate lots of beer & whisky.
Grab yourself a wing-back chair and settle in. Warm, cosy, sport on TV etc. Its got it all. Have not tried the food but it looks good and is recommended.
J. G.
Decent wee pub and eaterie, honest decent food, reasonably priced
Nice comfy decor, lovely old fashioned but clean and well maintained toilets.
Knowledgable and very helpful staff, a world class gantry with a spectacular range of keenly priced malts
A daily special menu with 2 courses for £5.95, today's was nice pea soup and a smashing venison pie
Tiny criticism but the puff pastry on the pie is not very good, turns to dust when you cut into it.... Venison was smashing though
E. M.
Incredible bar with incredible service. The customers are all lovely which makes this my bar of choice. Outdoor seating and a great selection of drinks and food on offer. The staff are so friendly and always go above and beyond. If you are a whiskey drinker this is the place for you.
F. H.
In the words of Boz Scaggs, "what can I say?".
A Glasgow treasure, great food, very friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable and approachable bar staff. Not to mention the taste before you buy policy.
Oh, without being a known sports bar, they do show the football, and have one of the best Wembley 67 pictures to stir Scottish hearts, as soon as you walk in the door.
Looking forward to the renaissance, when this plague is lifted.
P. G. L.
Superb establishment, many great Ales, fantastic selection of Whiskeys, good food & friendly helpful staff that really know about the Beers & Whiskeys.
If you are in Glasgow you must visit this marvelous Pub.
S.
Big thanks to Tim, Sue and Sarah! Couldn't have been more accommodating. Free camping with nice clean toilets and showers! Great food and drinks. They even organised a bunch of lovely locals to help fix my car. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!
J. “. C.
This pub has a remarkable atmosphere, homey, cosey and inviting. There is a great selection of beers, spirits and wines. My wife and I fancied a really classic, simple, pub grub type bite to eat, and thats exactly what we got, cooked perfectly.
W. W.
Met up here for a night out with old school pals. Lovely real ale and proper, efficient, friendly bar staff. Had 5 pints of ale and zero hangover this morning! A revelation. Good, clean beer and a pub run with care and attention to detail (complementary deodorant in Gents, perhaps in case one gets lucky?)
Tip: It quietens down slightly about 8pm as folk head off to their various nights out, a good time to grab a table.
We will be back.
J. m.
Very good quality .large portions well worth the money . friendly.. helpful and polite staff .
N. F.
One of the best pubs in Glasgow. Extensive beer and whisky selection, sports on tv and very good traditional pub grub. Table seating annd beer garden at rear. Friendly and efficient service.
D. C.
Lovely food and welcoming atmosphere. Very lovely staff and love the decor and historical pieces!
S. S.
Homely and friendly place for a stranger in town. Bar staff very knowledge about the excellent range of malt whiskies on offer. As a lover of single malt found new tastes and highly recommend.
M. S.
Best bar/pub we've been to in Glasgow. The ambience was lovely and the liquor selection was good. The local ale was good and check out their whisky collection too
R. H.
Great pub, warm friendly atmosphere with an out standing selection of whisky and real ales. You never be disappointed
C. K.
Fantastic bar! Great selection of real ales, malt whiskies, ciders, lagers and gins. Tasty pub grub and the friendliest staff you could ever wish to meet.
T. K.
Cracking selection of malts-over a 100 and about 10 real ales which are regularly changed. Does great food also. One of my favourite pubs in Glasgow.
J. N.
For us the best place in Glasgow so far. Good prices, excellent servis, everyone super friendly and helpful. Food was perfect and really cheap. Not so far from city centre.
We went there only for a wee lunch and tea, but they treated us as we were going to spend a fortune there.
We really recommed this place and definitely will be back soon.
N. M.
Amazing food and fantastic whisky selection :)
L.
Huge whisky selection 5
Great ambience 4
Food is not that good 2-3
P. N.
In 1981 whilst at Stow College I & a few class mates got slaughtered here on Old Roger ale - they would only well sell it to us in half pints but 6 later we achieved the desired state to return to Thermodynamics class. A great pub glad its still here.
X.
The bon accord is a lovely pub with a knowledgeable staff. The ale selection is phenomenal always trying new beers and the whiskies are incredible.food is hearty and good value love coming here

Good pub, good grub, great ales! Well worth a visit.
J. S.
Friendly staff who are very knowledgeable. If whisky is your thing then this is one of the best places to go, something for everyone and you'll learn a little bit too. My go to place when i visit Glasgow

One of the best pubs in Glasgow. Ten guest ales and as many single malts as you'd care to ask for. Friendly local, great pub menu and occasional live music.

A. W.
Busy, but ales were well kept and service quick and efficient.
L. M.
Great choice of beers and food. Plus they have a massive wall of whiskies ranging of normal cheap ones to very special old ones. Couple benches out the back and front for smokers

The largest Whiskey selection in Glasgow. Atmosphere is as good as your company makes it. A Pricey for my liking but service is good and will probably visit again

The food is pub food. You get good taste, a lot of food and very cheap. They have about 400 different types of scotch whiskey for you to try and the service is amazing with making suggestions on what to try.
J. C.
It looks a bit old school but the whiskey selection is top notch and the staff, young and old alike, really seem to know their stuff and are happy to discuss tastes and styles to help you select. Must go back to try the ales.
T. B.

Massive range (in price as well as variety) of whiskeys. Incredibly lovely bartenders. Asked the owner what his favorite whiskey was and his reply was "the next one." 😅
C. M.
I went in here today for a quick lunch for the first time. Exceptional service let down by pretty poor and bland food. Chips were of the frozen variety (which I actually prefer) but these were of a poor, limp quality. The rest was ok, but very basic. There are much better places nearby for similar prices.
M. P.
