Popped in for a few drinks before a gig at the hydro, got a comfy wee booth, quick service, friendly staff, good selection of drinks and cocktails, was very quiet when we first went in, but got very busy as time went on. Ideal for a few pints on your own or meeting a group. Toilets were also very clean.

Popped into Brass Monkey while heading back to my hotel for the night. Had a few pints at the bar and was immediately welcomed by not only Lisa, but by a few regulars as well. Excellent selection of craft beer for reasonable prices. I stayed longer than i intended to as Lisa and the locals were so welcoming. Out-of-towner on holiday or in the neighborhood, stop in and get Great service and great craft beer. It would be my local spot no doubt!

A great bar with a good selections of beers and gins. Staff are friendly and the place is uncomplicated and welcoming. Could do with more seats but you kind of get why they don't when it gets busy. It's a victim of its odd V shaped space.

Nice bar, got BT sport but I don't think they have Sky sports. It's bigger than it looks with an area to the right behind the bar. Very popular on nights when the Hydro has something on as its 10 minutes walk away.

Nice atmosphere, nice setting. They have some games if you feel like it. What's great is, they have an agreement with a burger place nearby. So you can grab a burger and and sit in with you pint here.

It's a great place and the outside space is perfect on sunny days as it catches the sun till late! I just wish they'd do something about the smell! Clearly they have a sewage problem and the horrendous smell can be really off putting at times. Apart from that, really great place, with great, reasonably priced cocktails! Stay away from the £10 large sauvignon blanc glass of white wine though, the house white is fab and the BOTTLE costs £14!!!! 😁

Used to like this place a lot. A bit expensive for drinks and the decor is getting tired. Not faring well compared to the fresher pubs around it. This may explain why it's been half-empty any time I've visited. Three stars for old times sake

Nice enough pub although staff very slow clearing glasses. A very overpowering smell of airfreshener as I was sat near the toilets. Quiz was good tho not cheap!!
