J. D.The cocktail highlight of my Scotland trip! I am not usually partial to dessert/sweet cocktails but these cocktails were so fun and surprisingly worked! The Jammie Dodger cocktail was surprisingly wonderful. Moreish and tasty - I had two. The venue is gorgeous and the service was really good. The host did a wonderful job of looking after us throughout the evening as did his colleagues.
C. W.Best real cocktails in Glasgow. It’s not cheap, but it’s not really expensive when compared with what most “cocktail” bars serve for slightly lower prices (liquid sugar).
All cocktails have premium ingredients using a wide range of alcohols but most impressive is the selection. Most drinks come in different size and shaped glasses, so you feel you are getting a new creation each time.
The setting is modern but classy and well setup for conversation with each cocktail serving a new topic of discussion.

D. M.This pub in the heart of Glasgow has just started doing food again. They have a new head chef and his food is great. It's a selection of small plates with an Asian influence. The fries are particularly lovely.
G.Cocktail and spirit menus are excellent. Sadly, the red wine choices leave a lot to be desired. Only three if I remember correctly to choose from and all receive terrible Vivino ratings.
Wait times for drinks a little slow, majority of staff pleasant but a few had a hint of arrogance. Ordered a rum, requested no ice. Came with ice... These small attentions to detail do matter when you're paying for a premium product at premium prices.
All in all, if they sorted out the very minor niggles, it would 5 stars. I'll definitely return and would reccomend it for cocktails.
Food menu also looked fantastic, I'll be sure to give that a go at some point.
T. M.Didnt have any food but shared some drinks in a very cool bar , obviously popular with the locals they were turning people away who hadnt booked from 6pm , I had 2 Morettis and my better half had an Aperol Spritz as we just enjoyed being out for a drink again
D. T.They screwed up our order by getting us 2 of the same mains when we had ordered 2 different mains. Told us we could have the mistaken food for free, sorted us out with the correct main within minutes, and then knocked 25% off the bill at the end of the night without even being asked. That's how you customer service.

G. N.As always great service, lovely atmosphere and the new cocktail menu is fab. The bar bites menu is great too. First bar outing since March 20 and the place felt really safe, staff were thorough in the cleaning process, table service was fab and the new cocktail menu even better.

E. E.Food was nice, the main (salmon with rice and sauce,) was a bit on the small side, a slight bigger portion on the rice would have more balanced for a main meal. For pudding I had an strawberry tart, this was superb, pastry was light and the tart was not too sweet served with ice cream. The place was lively, all tables taken. The service was good. We found the cocktails a bit expensive so we left. I had been a few times for dinner and the food has always been nice. The lobster burger, although tasty I felt it did not made justice to the lobster tail that somehow gets lots between bun and sauce and the batter. Venison Stovies were very good, a good portion in a rich gravy (not seen it recently). The pate was very nice and light. The sticky toffee pudding was top notch. On Fridays there is a bit of piano music going on too. Anyway, good place for a bite.

Me and my friend went out for the first time in 2 years due to covid. The place was clean, friendly and the staff that serviced us was extremely friendly. The place is very smart and very relaxing.

J. M.Had a great time and will not hesitate to return. There were 4 of us went for dinner before going to the Hydro. The food was absolutely delicious. One of our group was vegetarian and she loved the freshly made lentil soup. Another had the beetroot starter and 2 had the pate. Ample portions for a starter and tasty. For the main course, one had the risotto, which was very well received and the other had the steak fries. Cooked to absolute perfection and all agreed that it was the best steak we'd had in a long time. The staff were all very nice and very helpful and although the restaurant was busy, we were served promptly. The cocktails were incredible, if you like cocktails you have to try the Mad Garters Tea Party! Would certainly recommend a visit here and we will be back

A. B.Heard about this place through a friend, popped in for Sunday lunch with my mum to check it out. Amazing cocktails, didn't get to sample too many with it being a Sunday! Really nice welcome and friendly staff, we weren't in a hurry so didn't really mind the wait for our food. The Manager, nice guy with a big beard was really apologetic and helpful and made sure we were ok and food turned out to be great. Really welcoming, nice food, great service and food value for money will be back!
M. C.Stopped in here with a friend for a cocktail during a little pub crawl. I would say that the cocktails that we had were good but not anything that special or memorable. Also I felt a little that there was something lacking about the bar that I can quite put my finger on which makes me think that it wouldn't really be a place that I would spend a whole night in. Overall its a good bar and I would stop in again. I would say that this bar would be good for one or two drinks before or after going to a restaurant or a decent little place to stop by on a date night.

J. L. H.A wonderful bar, which even as you walk in, is visually stunning. Don't be intimidated by the fancy decor however, drinks are reasonably priced, and the bar staff happy to talk. The drinks selection itself is extensive and well rounded, with something for everyone, and a little more. We were even lucky enough to meet the owner, who was more than happy to chat, making our experience even better. The corpse reviver No.2 comes highly recommended.

J. E.Lovely meal in sophisticated surroundings. Lunch menu was very well priced and good value. The only downside was that the service got slower and slower as the meal progressed. The wait between getting the dessert menu and being asked for our order was ridiculous. The wait for the deserts was even longer. Ultimately the only way we were finally able to pay was by standing for several minutes at the front desk bill in hand. Would go back for drinks but would have to brave ourselves before ordering food, which is a pity

R. 2. (.Nice big establishment for the in crowd. Grand piano at the entrance area says it all. Nice well stocked bar with lots of unusual gins, friendly staff. Toilets are exceptional, didn't have food so can't comment but it looked and smelled fantastic. Nice relaxing atmosphere added to when the pianist started playing, it's a real shame I was stepping out into Argyle street when I left and not 5th avenue in New York

Going for what Glasgow needs right now... Excellent food in a stylish, relaxed environment.
From the greeting at the door from the smiley manageress to the great service from the boy in the braces.
I had the Veal which was one of the best dishes I've had in a while with my fiancé opting for the Tuna cooked to perfection (seared like it should be)
will definitely be returning to this lovely restaurant again and hopefully try more of the fabulous gin selection.

This time, within the space of a long weekend, I went twice. Once for dinner and then for lunch.
If you love oysters, cocktails and a down to earth environment, this is a good place to hang out.
The staff really make it for this place, exotically the general manager, who I would hire in a heart beat!
The menu is kinda rustic brassiere, which is the most interesting type of British food you could eat! They go all out, even the bread is brioch- this is what I’m talking about!

E. B.One of our favourite pubs, immaculate. Bit restricted on beer choice but I'm a guiness drinker so Glasgow can be like that.. and it's small non pint glasses... But it's lovely and you can time it when piano Man is on its all very cool.... Bring a big wallet if you plan to get pie eyed though.

They would only sell tap beer by the pitcher, my only disappointment, £4 for a bottle seemed steep and with a coke for my better half was £7 but I suppose that's what to expect. Service was fine

D. M.It's up a side street so you probably wouldn't stumble across it, I did, but I use that street as a short cut all the time. Beautiful building inside, but that goes for nothing if the food isn't up to scratch.
First time we went, we "just" ate of the lunch menu (sandwiches, salads, etc), impressed with the quality, so we tried the a la carte next time. The food is excellent and just a bit different, without being odd. Good range of wines and beers, haven't tried the gin menu yet (I hadn't realised there were enough gins in existence to need a menu until fairly recently)
E. J.Great new bar right on my door step. We came here on a Wednesday night and couldn't fault it at all. Firstly the decor is outstanding, nothing else like it in the city. The warm welcome at the door and the knowledgable staff just makes the place an all rounder instantly. Then after having a few cocktails in the bar we moved to the restaurant for food, again it was 5 stars. The food was presented so beautifully we took pictures of every course - we are not ones to usually do this but it was a must to show our friends. The food was to die for, the lovely waitress was so polite and attentive to all our requests. Honestly this is my new fav place that I will be paying many more visits too!

Went here with a gin lover (not being a gin fan) the bar tender took time to ask what I liked and made a cocktail -gin based- to my taste and it was great! The time spent and care in making drinks really makes it feel special!
Came back recently with a mate to introduce him to some whiskys. The staff were very accommodating and offered water/ice with no judgement which for whisky tasting is very important!
Excellent variety of drinks (rum, tequila, whiskey, burbon, rum, vodka, gin, absinthe) with a great variety of single malt! Was a great chilled out environment with the staff being distantly attentive! I would highly recommend this for anyone kicking about who wants a calm, chilled out, variety of spirits!
The staff are very friendly and happy to help out with anything drink related!
If your going definitely swing by the single malt menu and have a dram!
I have never eaten here so can't comment on that.

F. M.Had this not been a Christmas booking it would be a 3/5 star review. This was booked for the Google #DigitalGarage Christmas night out and was a smooth and easy process, all the staff involved were lovely. On the night getting our table, seats and drinks was easy. Further drinks and food options was a bit challenging, with servers not knowing parts of the menu which was necessary for certain individual dietary requirements. Drinks arrived late and wrong, food arrived over cooked, without set supplements etc. the overall service was slow (which is expected for Christmas but at times a even for that it was long).I'll be back to try the food again on a more quiet time as it looked rushed and therefore let it down but does have potential.

First thoughts were It's a bit too trendy for this old dear but all staff very attentive. Took coats, my friends suitcase and carrier bags as if it was an every day occurrence. No pushy water sales. Tap water came in lovely glasses with ice and lime. (NO CHARGE) Had pre theatre menu. So tasty and great value for money
Would go back. Good A La Carte menu too. Not a rip off. Thank you. 10 out of 10.
