Carvery Was amazing. I was so hungry forgot to take a pic..gravy was left only. Large selection of veg, meat was lovely. Too full for dessert...but u GOT TO HAVE A CAKE AWAY !

Came in here with my sister a couple of weeks back for a breakfast whilst visiting family in Glasgow. Absolutely amazing, great price for a buffet breakfast! Couldn’t find any faults and would definitely recommend anyone nearby to pop in for a breakfast!

i'd give this location 5/5 star's except for they don't advertise when the kitchen closes vs the bar itself. it's a small nitpick but would like to know on either a website or even the host letting us know if we're coming in close to kitchen time before we sit down. otherwise, i love the food and the portions are very generous. the online order system makes it very simple to order and pay through an app.

Food was lovely and arrived 20 minutes after ordering despite being very busy. Portions are generous. We booked for the Wrong day but the staff went above and beyond to make sure we got seated. They have a play area for children.

Busy carvery restaurant on the outskirts of Glasgow. Booking recommended at weekends. Good selection of carvery meats with lots of potato and veg options, also can have a vegetarian pie to go with the potatoes and veg. There is also a menu if you dont want the carvery. Kids menu is also really good, with a little play area to keep the kids amused.

Lovely meal with 2 friends, we all had Carvery the roast beef was absolutely delicious and the gammon was so tasty. A wide selection of potatoes vegetables and gravies. Although full we still managed to squeeze in a dessert, even if we needed a box to take some home. 10/10

🙄 Google asked me questions about a visit to pizza hut. As I was filling that out it switched to questions about Wallacewell farm and I didn't realise! If I had any problems I would have approached the staff. The service was excellent! I really hate when people say everything is fine then moan about it after when the establishment can't fix it. which is what happened on this occasion. Please say if you are not happy with your meal! It's the worst thing you could do to a chef and these lads work really hard! Two people in the company ordered chicken and complained -to me afterwards! That it was quite tough. I wish they would have said because I'm sure the staff would have sorted that out! 5⭐service! My beloved carvery also got some complaints. The meat is second to none though!! The sides were a bit iffy. The brussels were either green with cold hard centres or brown mush. The yorkies were chewy and difficult to cut. The carrot and swede actually smelled and tasted like it was on the turn! I ate the carvery and still enjoyed it though! Thanks Mikey 😊! I feel maybe my company just compare it to how it was in the past and perhaps this is a little unfair. I hope you can get Mikey some help and freshen it up for evening service in future. That poor guy isn't 100% fit right now and I know it's a bloody hard job; that's why I don't do it anymore! I didn't mean to write a review but I hope this is helpful. I couldn't agree more that you deserve more than 3 ⭐. As I say that was for pizza hut! Sorry 🙄❤️.

Very happy with the service from William. He was very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing, although one or 2 vegetables at the carvery were a bit hard. Prices are unbeatable for the portions you get. Would like to see the kids area fixed up - the PlayStationa working and the claw machines fixed / filled back up. Great local restaurant.

Had an ad hoc meal today. Picked a sharing starter followed by chicken based meals, big mistake😜 Portions were enormous, felt guilty about not finishing. Our waitress “Hayley” agreed the portions were large and understood not finishing. Would heartily recommend eating here.

Amazing place! Half of it's set up for family wih younger children and the other is set up for more grown up groups. The kids zone is amazing and gives the little ones somthing to do when they get board but (the only reason for a star missing )the electronic machines tend to swallow coins. The food is well cooked and presented. Cake away is super yummy. Food is reasonably priced. What more can you ask for !

We booked a table for 12 noon for 7 adults 1 child and we were told when we arrived they needed the table back by 2 45 we dine in here a lot and have never been told a time to leave apart from that waited half an hour for 3 pots of tea didn’t have all the meats at the carvery and we spent a lot of money don’t think another 15 mins would have been a big deal just got time to sing happy birthday and then leave not happy diners.

I enjoyed every moment of my experience at this welcoming restaurant. We were seated and greeted quickly. The menu has a variety of foods, drinks, and desserts. You have an option to order or eat from the prepared food buffet. We chose the buffet which is self-serve, except for the meat, which is carved in front of you. The atmosphere is family dining with a bar. I even saw a video game or casino machine. I do not review food because everyone has different tastes, but I liked everything I ate. I am a picky eater with a sensitive pallet. The food was hot, fresh, and seasoned well. The only thing I would say is that the restaurant is rather dark, the lights were too dim for me; however, that is a personal issue, and it did not take away from my experience.

We visited late afternoon and all had the standard carvery. The meat was lovely and the veg was nice. Potatoes were a bit hard but edible. Lacking a little on the presentation. There is room for improvement especially on the sauces. The lighting is quite dim where the sauces / gravy is and no labels. For example there was mint sauce (no lamb offered) and my mother who hates mint sauce put onto her turkey! thinking it was cranberry. Some people cant see as well as others so I would recommend getting some labeling at that end. On the whole we enjoyed our dinner and we would go back again. Also thought the staff were nicer and more efficient than my last visit which was nice.

Will definitely be a regular there, as I live in the neighbourhood and recommend to others to try it. However, it was a bit weird being at a Greene King pub and they had no Greene King ales.

My second visit to this restaurant and I am happy to report my experience was as good as the first. The staff are SO friendly and helpful, without exception and the young chef behind the carvery was cheerful and fun. Exactly the way staff should be! Can't fault them in any way. The food was very good. The carvery roast beef and roast turkey were cooked to perfection. The selection of veggies is extensive and the portions plentiful. The prices are excellent too. I was so stuffed from the carvery, I wasn't able for a pudding...maybe next time, cos I will definitely be back. Keep up the good work guys!

Excellent meal at Wallace Well Farm. First time visit. We went out to celebrate my wife's birthday as a family. Friendly service from the outset (shout out to Kirsty and Sean who were cheerful and helpful). Servings were good sized. Good choice of deserts and cakes and ice cream were delicious (cake portion was huge). Service ended well when Kirsty suggested we could take leftover cake home. So that's tomorrow's dessert sorted. We'll definitely be returning

Tried to call to book a table couldn’t get through so decided just to head up with my wee ma. We arrived and was disheartened to be told it was fully booked. I had seen there was still a few tables free so asked to speak with the manager to see if we could get squeezed in as my wee ma is wheelchair bound and the thought of trying to find somewhere else was unthinkable.The manager was so nice and got me and my wee ma a table very kind of the manager to do so. The food was good but what let it down was that we were charge extra for more chicken skewers and never recieveds them plus we were charged extra bread and butted but only recieved one. We didnt ask nor want more chicken skewers but we were charge for them, not only that half the items on the desert menu was unavailable. We asked for a carrot cake, charged a caroot cake then got told when we sat back down that there was no carrot cake. The food was pretty good for but to be charged extra and not get anything... seriously

My family and I have been attending Wallace Well Farm at least once per month for nearly 2 years. I, myself am particularly focused on just how passionate members of staff are about what they do. This passion transcends into how the food will taste. I must say, bringing family and friends to eat here has been a delight and the consistency is on point. The breakfast buffet and the carvery have a wide selection to suit individual pallets. Fundamentally I believe that a good team, brings good results and in this case excellent food for what you pay for. I would like to point out that a member of staff that quite literally is an asset, is Kirsty. She is an example of how retail members of staff should be. Kirsty is very passionate about what she does, knows her business and is consistent each and every single time we visit. This member of staff can see the bigger picture of the business and knows exactly what customers want and performs in a professional manner with signs of leadership potential. Without people like Kirsty, food businesses like Wallace Wells Farm would not prosper. With this in mind, I strongly believe that the management team pride themselves in making sure their staff get it right first time and when it goes wrong with respect to food; they fix it. I would recommend this establishment for food as it is good value for money, ample servings and excellent customer service. A great experience overall.

Outstanding service. After a misunderstanding over our booking, the manager managed to squeeze us in and got us a table within 15 minutes or so. We are very appreciative of this, and wanted to leave this review as a thank you for the efforts of all the team. It's hit and miss. last visit - food was decent, even tho you can't plate yourself, just say how much you want. Safety measures are in place - sanitizer, one way system etc. Decent priced, staff are mainly decent (see below) and the desserts! Huge! Cons - even tho booked, still 25mins to get inside. staff not following the one way system. You get told when to goto buffet - which is a con because - we got told to go up before our starters and then after 35mins, I got bored waiting so asked if we could go up. Waiting 10mins for carvery, we get back to our seats and they have gave our table away! There are people sitting at our table! So after telling staff they moved them away but why give our table away? There was empty starter plates and full cokes on table! Anyway, got free dessert for mixup so it's not all bad. I will be back and I do recommend it. Just won't be back until things ease abit more as staff struggle when it's busy (and I'm going back years and before all this covid nonsense) but that reply, How long has that been on your copy and paste??? And no one has a 'usual standard' at this time - just some places I've been to have adapted better.

Reheated skinny burger and frozen chips was not the quality of meal I was expecting given the prices. Asked for condiments and they were never delivered. Made for a rather dull meal. Would have been better if the person delivering the food followed through with the condiments rather than asking someone else to do it and them getting the wrong table. A rather confusing question from a waitress if we were waiting on desserts and did we want them over just now only to wait another 10-15mins On a positive note the staff were very vigilant in clearing and cleaning tables and controlling entry and exit. Second time I've been (once pre covid and one today) both time half the party have been served desserts while the others wait for a simple ice cream. The staff where very apologetic but its pretty ridiculous thag it takes half an hour to scoop a piece of ice cream and stick some sauce and marshmallows on it when we had already been given cake and a sundae... Asked to cancel it and was told no it was just being done then waited about another 5-10 minutes. Absolutely overwhelmed with how amazing my experience was yesterday at wallacewell farm. I was greeted at the door with big smiling eyes. I then was ran through all the steps in which they are taking to keep us safe and then gave my details. Before I had even sat down i felt at ease and relaxed. The ordering process was very easy now the new app has been introduced. Then arrived our drinks within minutes of the order going through. All the staff were amazing especially one in particular Lucy - She came to our table after our meal carrying a basket almost the same size as her selling cakes. With lots of laughs and giggles we purchased multiple cakes to cake-away and had a cheesecake to sit in which were absolutely delicious!. I will definitely be coming back and recommending to others.

Was here on a Saturday afternoon and was seen to very quickly. But it went rapidly downhill from here. I came with someone who recommended this place as a good place for desserts. And that's all it's good for. To take away. First issue I had was pretty much no tables were clean. Found one that was relatively okay and the first menu I pull out is covered in gravy. I work in hospitality - it's standard practice to clean the menus every day. Second issue was although the starter came out quick, it was nice as well. The waitress took ages to remove those plates and bring the main. My partner's burger was fine and hot. But my chicken was cold. Clearly timing of the chef's is an issue. I can't say this was a great experience and probably won't be back either. The desserts aren't that great for an return trip.

The friendly welcome, service and value for money are all excellent. Under £7 for a large breakfast plate and 3 coffees is geat value. However, there were a few gripes. My plate had an odd point in the underside middle, which caused it to turn like a steering wheel whenever I used my knife. Not a huge problem but a replacement plate would have also caused a lot of food waste. The food was generally ok, however my fried egg was hard and my bacon was even harder. The scrambled egg was also quite wattery and tasteless. As if often the case with a buffet, the food was only luke warm, which meant it went cold very quickly. I felt like it needed 2 min in the microwave before I started eating. Ordering by app is also a faff, although I aknowledge the reasons why. As I say, for the cost its good value and I would happily return, however a few improvements to the food prep and temperature would go a long way to a 5 star.

Cakes are massive & again plenty of choice. There's an ice cream cabinet with a decent enough variety to choose from. Toilets are clean & well kept. There is a designated kids play area along side the seating area. It's brightly coloured & entertaining.

My previous review for here was not good, but it was a while ago, so thought I would try here again. Had a carvery this time. The pork and turkey were nice, but the beef was very dry. The vegetables were overcooked and soggy. My wife said her scampi and chips were OK. The staff are very nice and welcoming and the place looked clean. They don't have a great selection of beers though, especially real ale. Still not to the standards it used to be a few years ago, but better than my last two visits.

The Wallace Well Farm always intrigues me. It's a cozy chain pub, bar, restaurant and carvery, but it seems to be placed in the middle of nowhere with little nearby. That said though it's busy, popular place, the food is always good and their cakes are absolutely worth the price of admission. Well worth it along a wee trip out of your way for a visit. All of the usual COVID precautions you would expect are in place and the staff are good at making sure the tables are well cleaned between guests.

This is a good family place to go for lunch/dinner Parking is free and ample. The prices are reasonable and the menu is varied. Most go for the carvery which is decent.There is veggie and vegan options on the menu. Kids options are the usual you would expect, and there is a small play area for them. It's open enough that you can keep an eye on them from your table. There is lots of seating and there are busy times but I personally haven't had problems getting a table. They also do fancy ice cream and indulgent cakes.

There was a few issues on the last visit, the meal was very overcooked and could have been from day before it was that bad was a mixed grill. Ordered deserts on the app got charged on my card but it crashes told me to see staff member, only to be told I have to pay again and that I should get a refund for the original payment in a few days 🙃 Bad first time coming across this issue anywhere, staff member tried to say there was something wrong with your payment, advised and shown payment was taken for it. Poor system staff were unaware of what the code was. See photo. Still 4 Stars 🌟 as its usual great this place. Paid £18.60 twice still no sign of a refund.

Slightly more expensive than other carveries but well worth it. The meat was plentiful and tender as were the vast selection of vegetables. The staff were warm and friendly. The best carvery I've been to in years, we will definitely return soon.

Went to Wallacewell Farm for dinner with my husband and Auntie. It was better than the last time i was there so that's a bonus 😊 The food was lovely, husband had the mixed grill.... my goodness what a plate of food that was. Auntie had the Cod, chips and peas, she said it was very nice. I had the Macaroni and cheese with garlic bread. It was very tasty but a miserable portion for an adult. We came away with some cake so we were all happy 🤗

Had lunch on Monday we had the golden years menu 2 courses for £7 we both had the carvery followed by the apple crumble with custard. Carvery was just opened so everything was fresh. It is a bit of hit and miss with this place overall I like it. Staff could be a bit more polite, it's like you are just left to It, without anyone coming to ask if everything is ok. Food can be cold on the carvery sometimes. Staff is also somewhat rude at times. Kids love the sweets here.

Carvery was good though could have had more of a veg selection as mostly everything was potatoes cooked different ways. While eating our carvery there were staff members talking about how unhappy they were to work there to members of the public and how bad they get treated. The desert was meant to be hot chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, it took half an hour to come and was cold and when we were still seated a woman came and started to turn off lights which I thought was rude.

I have been going to wallacewell farm since it opened and have had no problems with the food it's always been good and value for money. The staff are lovely and always look after you specially Amy, Shelby, Stephen, Andrew, Aimee, David the list goes on. I know when it's there busy time you might need to wait for a table but I can insure you anytime myself and husband has been there we have never had to wait very long, you just go to the bar and get a drink. Keep up the good work guys will see you all again soon.

Been there in August with my family for a dinner on the way to Glasgow, I wanted to try carvery...all meat was gone but the turkey. Decided for a hamburger, pasta with tomato sauce for my son and salmon for my wife...nothing special and a looong wait. Nice play area for the children and lovely environment

Always does what it says on the tin. The deserts are massive. There is a little play area for kids so if you want somewhere the kids can run about while you eat this could help ease families eating out. They have a large car park too which is free. I often feel this is a slight down grade to brewers fayre which I feel is a bit hit or miss. But depends what your looking for. Staff are what really make the place. They are always friendly and helpful when we have been and it's the main reason we have been back.

I have visited this place several times now and enjoyed each occasion. The menu is varied and very affordable. There is a nice vegetarian section too which from a personal experience, each item I've sampled has been delicious! There is a carvery which is always popular. The highlight for my visits has been the desert menu as they offer a wonderful selection. The other aspect about the deserts are the portion size.......HUGE!!!! The only flaw that I can find with Wallace Well Farm is there never seems to be enough staff, either behind the bar or in the restaurant area. However, this doesn't valo away from the experience as I have always had a great time here!!

Their sanitisation regime seems well-drilled - mind you, it was similarly well-drilled before March 2020, so its difficult/easy to assess their attitude to hygiene, which can't be faulted. My partner and our son went here for the first time. Decided to have something off the menu rather than the carvery (which we should have went for). I ordered smothered chicken which came drenched in BBQ sauce. The chicken was wet and slimy like it had been reheated in water. The coleslaw was awful and the corn on the cob was sour tasting. As for the bacon you couldn't chew it. The chips were the best part of the meal. My sons boiled potatoes were wet and mushy inside too. Very disappointed. Definitely not fresh food that's for sure.

On a very dull day I had to go to Wallace well farm for a takeaway for our evening meal and I asked for a carvery meal, The chef cut three slices of meat, ham, beef, and turkey, I then proceeded to choose the selection of potatoes of which were roast, boiled, sweet, chips, mashed, also wedges, my selection of vegetables were as follows, the usual peas, carrots, turnip, cauliflower cheese, green beans , and broccoli, I finished of with cranberry sauce, mint sauce, and lovely brown gravy for the beef, Top marks to the staff for the kind attention given to me on arrival and to the chef for the presentation of meats.
