T. G.The Hare & Hounds, Churchdown is a Greene King local pub that also serves food. It was alright, with IPA at £2.50 a pint and food starting from not much more it offers good value for money.
It was fairly busy when I visited, a few people enjoying Christmas meals. The food arrived promptly. A couple of items weren't available but what we had was good.
S. a. D. C.We had a fantastic time at the Queens Platinum celebrations. A big thanks to Sue, Rees and all the staff for a very entertaining day. The drinks and food were great quality and very reasonably priced.
All the staff were friendly and the fabulous entertainment kept us there longer than originally planned. This is a really nice local village pub and highly recommended for all the family.
J. S.Nice little pub, parking and outside seating area. Friendly and welcoming staff. Pub food served was to a decent standard (Sunday lunch) plenty of choice on the menu. Traveling through and needed a pit stop, this place was great for what we wanted.
K. J.Lovely staff. The food was tasty and they serve massive portions. Children friendly. There was a male staff member who was so sweet with my boy! Made him smile!
M. S.Great food and friendly staff. The only problem was a member of staff had her children running around, which was quite dangerous when carrying hot meals and drinks. There were elderly people wirh a stick there as well, which made walking for them precarious. I don't think we will visit again despite the nice meal.
L. P.I am a wedding photographer who recently has the privilege of shooting a wedding at this wonderful venue, the staff and food were excellent. The wedding was wonderful and the ceremony room had really wonderful light to shoot (this is always a dream for a photographer) and was such a wonderful day, would highly recommend to any couple looking to book their wedding.
L. L.Very disappointed my cousins and went for lunch on Friday I had hunters chicken light bite chicken over done very dry, bacon sk hard it was uneatable. no Barbaque sauce it had dried up. And why o why do the put salad on a hot plate rediculuse.
