The Farmers Arms is one those old pubs with lots of character and lovely views. The pub has seating outside and the customer service was very polite and nothing was too much trouble. The steak was outstanding both with presentation and taste. I thought the peppercorn sauce outstanding and the chips were very crispy. I would recommend this pub to my friends.

Made an excellent gluten free fish and chips - crispy and very, very nice. My wife loved her steak sandwich with a good hunk of meat cooked to perfect medium rare. Lacks a little ambience outside, but there are still lovely views from the garden. Staff were also lovely

Brilliant food and only a short walk away from Willow Hill Farm if you happen to be staying there. You can walk a few minutes through the Orchard to get there. We went one night at half eight and they'd stopped serving food unfortunately, but it was great when we had food a few days before. Would recommend if you're in the area.

Nice setting but i was a bit surprised how quiet it was, almost empty on a saturday lunchtime. Food was adequate, i had the gammon which was tasty but quite greasy but saying that i enjoyed it, i like chunky chips and these were not but that is just my preference Prices were very reasonable. More people need to try this pub, i will be going back.

Went in for an evening drink. Very welcoming, the lady who served was friendly as was another lady who I think is the landlady, and they both were happy for a chat and some lighthearted humour. The atmosphere was very enjoyable and relaxing and will definitely return before too long.

Stayed overnight enroute to Cornwall. From the minute we arrived we were made feel welcome. Our boys played all afternoon in the garden with the staffs boys. We had a lively relaxed afternoon. The staff were fantastic an absolute credit. We had our evening meal and the food was lovely. The service was impeccable. We will definitely be booking the cottage again for next year. Thank you.

New owners have turned this place around for the better. Still had my old review on here from before so have deleted that and renewing here based on the last 2 visits since the new owners arrived 3 or 4 months ago. Food now is excellent, all home made. The thai green curry was very flavoursome with chicken cooked perfectly. My wifes burger was a proper home made one with a great smoky bbq flavour. Not a massive menu or portions but it's just right and very fair prices. Good choice of lager, cider and ale on tap. Not a big wine list but has the general reds which was adequate. Service very good with friendly staff. Want to try the Sunday lunch next, will be returning for that!
