P.We’ve always driven past this place and thought: “Wouldn’t it be nice to try this one day?” Today was that day, and what a meal!!!
Great price for what you get and stunning food; everything was cooked really well and packed full of flavour!
There is great choice on the menu, even for vegans (if you are that way inclined) and it’s all reasonably priced! The roasts were £12.95 each and vastly better than a typical carvery!
Lots of parking, a charming and well decorated pub. They also had an open log fire and a lovely wood burner in the room we were in! It was so warm and welcoming.

It was well worth it for a walk in beautiful surroundings followed by a tasty vegan Sunday dinner with jam roly poly for pudding! The staff were so welcoming, great place and we’ll be back! Thank you

L. W.Dog friendly family pub with large menu (including lots of vegan options). Socially distanced spacing between tables. Plentiful parking in the car park adjacent to the main road. Large portions but lacking finesse. Nice touch with a dog mini menu. Interior needs a lift. Has the potential to be a really good pub with more attention to detail.

S. D.Fantastic hidden treasure which you could easily drive past. Friendly staff, lots of interesting things to look at decorate rge building. Good size menu with lots of specials, best fish and chips that I had ever had fish just melted in your mouth. Really enjoyable meal.
