G. C.Food that tastes like home. By far the most authentic Mediteranean - Balkan dishes I ate in Hull. Hope will be added more Romanian dishes as well in the menu in the future. The host is a great guy as well.

T. Q.2 folk walk into Efe's this evening - 1 halal and 1 vegan. Julie, with excellent customer services, calls the chef over to our table. The chef is a nice chap and he finds out what my friend likes (she the halal eater) and then asks me what I like (am the vegan). He disappears to the kitchen and about 15 minutes later (another helpful member of staff) brings out our food - a huge portion of food with accompanying sauces, salad and bread. The food was AWESOME. My friend loved her meal as well - the chef had made her a spicy chicken pasta dish. The restaurant is quite big and the tables are well spaced out the bar stocks a good selection of drink including a cider suitable for vegans. Highly recommend this place!!!! Thank you Efe's for a lovely evening :-)

Pleasantly surprised by the range of food on the menu. We picked chef's special meze, grilled meat tapas and hummus. Portions were huge and the food was so delicious, I just wished I could have eaten more! So glad we chanced it, will definitely be going back.

However I was not over impressed with the food. It may have been because we visited on a Sunday evening and it was quite but I have eaten much better kababs from nearby takeaways. I felt it was over priced for the quality of food that was served but everyone did leave with full bellies and almost empty plates.
