J. M. F.Very good Hull bar and love the way they've arranged it in this iconic building. I used to pick up stationary items here in 1971 when working in Town Planning. Gave me the shivers to think of that but life always rearranges itself in Hull! Xx

Bit noisy today, group of chaps in the back room really rowdy. We wanted a quiet pint so we moved on.
M. C.Pleasant, old-fashioned local pub apparently owned by the same people as the Lion and Key on the opposite corner. Casks ales, friendly staff bigger than it looks from outside including a games room. It also has several phone charger points.
W. M.Absolutely love this place. The decor is amazing, such a qwerk to it. Drinks selection is great with plenty for all taste. This place is on my definite goto places in Hull.
S. K.A very nice and welcoming pub with a great atmosphere. The staff is fantastic and will gladly have a chat with you while you're having a few pints. The quality of the drinks is always great and the range varies from nice light hoppy beers to darker stouts with a wide pallet of a myriad of chocolate and almost coffee like notes. Overall a great pub for a classic British pub experience; however if you're looking for something more modern and youthful it might not be a place for you.
