To watch the end of the City match on the large screen tv's.
Unfortunately we lost, which ended our survival hopes in the Championship.
However the price of beer here is good so at least we could drown our sorrows.
The pub staff are really friendly and need all the customers that they can get after Lockdown ended.
Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

H.Friendly pub with cheaper than most beer
D. P.A reasonable choice of well kept beers including on hand pump, and some lovely gin cocktails. The Harry Pursey has quite a large single bar and a little outside seating. It attracts a bit of a rougher crowd since it changed to this incarnation, and it has more of a sports bar feel now, which isn't my style but might be yours. The bar staff have all been professional and efficient without warmth or friendliness when I've been in, which is normally at quiet times in the day - they seem braced ready to take control rather than chatty. None the less, it's all been quiet and calm when I've been there, and I've enjoyed a delicious glass before moving on swiftly.

V. G.Shame they don't do food anymore. There was a good dj on but he didn't have much of an audience. The music was too loud to be able to have a conversation. Nice staff and good prices. Why anywhere would do a referb and reduce the number of toilets in the ladies is beyond me.

K. W.Cheap beer, calm, relaxing atmosphere and they have both racing channels aswell as bt sport (not sure if they have sky sports but quite possibly). It used to be a weatherspoons so has that kind of feel to it but more of a proper pub than weatherspoons with a landlady who cares.
