B.Went there after a trip to the deep. Very empty only ones in there till the end. Prices are decent and the it’s is quite a lovely place. Portions size are massive here and the chips that came with the fish are the thickest I have ever seen. But all amazing tasting.
Next time I come to hull I will like to visit this pub again. Hopefully next time I can finish it 😂

G. C.Good location, nice big classic style British pub, but they always seem to be having staffing problems, which leads to long queues at the bar. Also a little overpriced for the quality it offers. Edit: for the owner below, it happened at least 3 times, not sure what's the point of denying the staff issue, it's happening to all hospitality businesses, not just yours...
K. K.For years, I have always had a fond affection for the bar I still know as Green Bricks. Even with the name chage it's still just your average classic bar, not a ridiculously pretentious book your table service balderdash as its nearby counterparts. The drinks are not overpriced and the food what I have seen always looks nice, as for the taste of I can't comment as none has ever passed my lips. Unfortunately a right royal dust up not more than two feet away from my guest and I occurred, because the establishment was mostly populated by gym going rambunctious brutes in tight fitting t-shirts shouting over each other. Some of the beer thrown from the fight nearly splashed onto my Oliver Sweeneys, and that won't do at all. Bar staff beware how much your serving and who too! Therefore 3 stars has been awarded on last night's visit.... shame.
K. T.Lovely bar with a great outdoor seating area looking over the marina. There was only one bar member working, and a couple of people were left waiting at the bar for a few minutes, but other than that, great place

J. H.Wife & I was wondering round for lunch. Looked into several places but either a limited menu or the more exclusive were a bit more expensive. Well although very quiet with only one table we didn't wait long for our lunch to arrive. Tuna melt baguette & chicken, Bacon & cheese baguette. Both with tortias & a salad garnish. We ordered a bowl of chips to share. Well I must say it was rather nice, baguette just out the oven so nice and warm with a slight crusty outer. Plenty of filling too. The chips we're receptional with skin on and more like wedges. Couldn't eat it all and with a soft drink (included in lunch deal) & my beer came in at 14 quid. Music was on but not blaring. Toilets spotless. It's an old pub so the decor matches this. The seats were comfortable though. Overall very good specially for the price.

P. B.Food was nice. The barmaids looked over worked as their were only two of them running backwards and forwards despite it being really busy. Another pair of hands wouldn't go amiss. But over all they were both really professional and did a good job. Food was nice and it is in a great location. Especially to sit outside when a lovely warm evening occurs. Fabulous view.

W.I visited the Humber dock bar in January which used to be (green bricks), used to come here a lot and was back in town so thought I’d give it ago, got served from a lovely young lady called Ruby as I asked for her name especially due to hee customer service skills being of such a high standard. She was very welcoming and polite. I also ordered some food as I was out with my wife. We made some changes to the sides which Ruby was more then happy to assist with. The food came relatively fast and didn’t disappoint . My overall experience at the humber dock bar and grill was a great experience and will be returning soon once we are back in Hull.

c. c. s.We visited tonight ( 3 adults 2 children) , lovely welcoming staff from the minute we got there, we reserved a table and was seated straight away, food came out very quick (around 30 minutes) all food was hot and really tasty, really big portions, staff were all very professional and welcoming, there was a small issue with my dessert bill as I was undercharged but I went back and explained and paid the difference and the young lady that served us was very good and apologised for the error (was as much my mistake as hers as I didn't check before paying) will be visiting again

H. R.First time in. Lots of different Ales Ciders etc. Yeah I like the optimisation of whoever owns it. Has its own brewery. Quite impressive, but can't give it 5 🌟, price of the beer. Surely it should be a case of reducing prices on a week day, even by a £ a pint, I would definitely go in sooner than later.

L. A.Went for a burger and it was beautiful then went a following week and the Sunday lunch wasn't much. The staff really are nice here and do go out of their way to help you great beer selection and good prices. Only complaint is the toilets are filthy! Used tampon box on the floor, unflushed toilets, a door hanging off and a leak! I only used them then once and went to a different pub to use the toilet.

J. K.If you are looking for a reasonably priced steak in the Fruit Market area of Hull, Humber Bar & Grill (formerly the Green Bricks pub) is worth a try.
The lunch menu is well priced and a rump steak served on a 400 degree volcanic rock is £12.95.
We will definitely try it again.

1/8/2017 Went for lunch today with mum and sis. Lunch menu looked promisingly good until we ordered. No potatoes for jackets ..sad face..:( Picked some thing else. Cook came out to grumble at a member of bar staff about making some ( bad language) sandwiches then stormed off.... Sat 10 min for a very apologetic girl to come tell us no squeaky cheese ( that hollumi stuff) another sad face :(
Decided to get refund and leave feeling very peeved !!!! Bar man said not getting a delivering until Thur so if you want jkt spud don't go ...took a star back not happy.
