L.Really nice place, been coming for years and I'm loving the new menu! I have the jerk chicken skewers and they was really tasty! My friend had the flaming hot chicken stack burger and she really enjoyed it. We went when they was an offer on if you had the sizzling app and main meals was half price. So it was a right bargain.
I. C.Haven't been for years. Went for a big family occasion there were 16 of us. And the service was prompt and staff helpful and friendly. Food was reasonably priced and prepared to a good standard. Most had carveries as it was a Sunday. But a few of us went off the main menu. Only thing I'll say is the bar is a bit busy and hard to get served at times as only one bar staff. But will back.

P. B.Went here the other week for some food with my boys. Food was lovely with a nice and friendly atmosphere. Staff was great as well Jane answered any questions we had and was really nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this place as I'll be going back again

It was a Friday about 5pm ,there were people in of all ages.A good atmosphere and very nice staff.The food quality was very good as was the service. We would certainly recommend it to anyone and we are all going back ASAP again
J. W.Had booked a table for 1pm for 6 adults & 2 children. Taken to our table immediately, could see they were very busy. Joined a 15 min queue at the bar to order drinks & food to be told a 50min wait for food. The food was delivered piping hot by apologetic waitress. We all enjoyed our meals. Felt sorry for the staff as they were run off their feet.
C. A.It's a very busy pub,servicing hundreds of people every day. The staff are very helpful and always busy. The food is the best in the area out of a choice of three pubs within walking distance of each other.

C.Travelled from east hull tonight because of recommendations, as soon as we entered we were told about the wait time which was 1 hour, we were taken to our table and upon ordering at the till we were then told about the wait again which was no problem to us and kylie who served us was amazing. A hour passed and Matthew I believe his name was then came to our table apologising about the wait and telling us that they were a Chef down and our food would be with us as soon as possible.. within the next 5 minutes of this our food arrived and was absolutely amazing. Matthew and Kylie was spot on, we will definitely be recommending and returning again well worth the wait and money.

H.Went and ordered a curry platter and my family got ribs platter.....iv had better....we initially had gone for a carvery amd it was only 4pm....and all what was left was a bit of dried gammon....altho it did look busy. Its usually better when its not so busy as the quality of the food is better id say.
S. F.I was really impressed by the attentiveness of the staff here, despite being very busy. I came here with my 3 year old daughter, and there was a small wait for food, so we sat in the garden to wait and I made sure I could see our table unside in case our food cane. The lady who seated us (I assume she was the manager as she had a different top to the others) noticed that we'd gone outside and she came to let me know our food would be ready in a few minutes despite having not informed her we'd gone outside. And again, it was very busy so I was very impressed that she'd noticed this and thought to tell us. A lovely touch! I'd also like to recognise our waiter Matthew who was very attentive to everyone he served and he did not stop the entire time we were there. He had a couple of customers being rather difficult and he dealt with them so calmly and efficiently, and then quickly moved onto helping other customers without missing a beat. The food was also very good, far better than the stereotypical "pub grub" you'd expect for these prices. I really hope the team are recognised for their work, really great experience here!

D. S.Went in for first time in many years on a busyish midweek teatime, and did like the adult only area, food decent at reasonable price, but drinks very over priced.
E.As always the food was nice, it was equally well priced and the customer service from the majority of staff I dealt with was really good, however after a forty minute wait I had to ensure the order had been received, to then be told that because I ordered through the app, there was a 35-40 minute wait, without apology and almost as if that was to be expected.
This absolutely needs to be rectified, or at the absolute minimum, communicated clearly to your customers when they order not 40 minutes after.
I will not be ordering via the app again and
lastly, Vegan/vegetarian availability was poor at best

J. I.Nice clean pub, with excellent food. Quite an extensive menu. All food came quickly and was really nice. Staff helpful and polite. Nothing too much trouble. Shame they didn't have any real ales or IPA on draught but all in all a lovely meal out.

All the staff here make you feel warm and very welcome the food is always cooked to the best satisfaction of the costumer any changes you may want just ask and its get done. I dont eat peas so I asked but was being a jerk can I have beans instead,thinking the answer would be no to my surprise I got the beans 😁

L. J.There were 10 of us all work together so we were put in the function room at the back. Limited menu but still enough to chose from, went to the bar to order food and drinks , brought drinks to us and food took about 40 minutes to arrive. All food was hot and lovely , puddings ordered , social distancing was adhered to all the way through from the staff enjoyable evening,
J. B.We arrived for lunch and received a friendly greeting. Even though busy plenty of seating.
Upon ordering we were told it would be a 45 minute wait as they were busy, not a problem as busy normally means good.
I ordered the beef lasagna with an extra portion of chips and the wife ordered the mince beef pie with mash and veg.
The wait was actually about 20 minutes so pleasantly surprised, my lasagna was piping hot and very tasty the garlic bread was slightly greasy but very tasty and the portion of chips could have been bigger but overall very nice.
The wife commented that her portion of pie looked a bit small but again was very tasty and she was full after it so if it had of been bigger some would have been left.
Will definitely be returning in the future, very pleased..

D.Ordered the beef and chicken. Beef was cooked exactly how I ordered it and no grisle. Chicken was moist and mushrooms were freshly cooked.
This place had it moments a while back but definitely would recommend these days.

C.Free parking, very long queue to order food. Not great vegetarian options. Every time I've visited, the vegetarian options I've chosen are always unavailable. Can pay and avoid queuing by using the app. They accept Blue Light Card but you can't use the app to order if you're getting a discount so you have to join the long queue. Great staff though and working hard to manage with the new covid rules in place.
S. E.I came in as a walk in last tuesday which was the 21st of july for a meal and was really worried as it was my first time eating out from lockdown. I was made to feel very at ease at the door as all the information was given to me at the door before been seated. The waitress that was working that day michelle very polite and reasuring . Very bubbly and made our visited extremely pleasant and has made me wanting to return in the near furture

Partner Had The Steak And Chicken Combo Which He Said Was A Very Nice Steak, Nice Hot Peri Sauce And I Had The Lemon Peri Peri Chicken Skewers And Milkybar Sundae Which Was Amazing.
Pub Was Clean/Tidy And Staff Was Seen Cleaning Tables Throughly Between Customers x

T. B.Breakfast here is truly unbeatable in cost, £4.29 for an all you can eat breakfast! Everything is grilled too so it tastes awesome. Down side is that you can be waiting a long time for good to come out at peak times (10 to 11am). Night/lunch menu is very average and not that cheap though.

Lge mixed grill was spot on, cooked the way I asked for , medium, well done and service spot on as well, fairly busy but wasnt kept waiting long around 20mins.
