P. W.Very quiet at midday on a Thursday so not much atmosphere. The barman was pleasant and polite but £3.95 for a pint of Stella is a bit on the high side but I'm from south of the river so maybe our beer is a tad cheaper. No great faults but nothing to recommend a return visit. I would rate it 6/10.

Guinness was excellent and crafted perfect by a girl member of staff who was very attentive and polite, well done, and thank you.

C.Went with my partners pool team for a scheduled league match and evidently a fifa tournament was scheduled at the same time as there was a crowd of very rowdy and noisy lads gathered around the bar and projector. As stated they were rather loud and off putting to the pool players. Points on the pub's part for ideas of getting people in the door however having it the same time as a scheduled league match isn't exactly the most courteous thing for the pool players.
J. M.Visited last Saturday, for rock day, which is held twice a month. Good craic and banter in here, with reasonably priced drinks.
M. I.A piece of nostalgia. So glad this pub has been reopened. Had some great nights in here over the years. Looks as good as ever. Bit oldie worldie. Went to see an act singing and was made very welcome.

L. J. G.Bought beer paid for pool £1 per game then two young guys turned up didn't appear to pay for any drinks alough had lagers and proceeded to put paper towels in the pockets of the pool table. Not a professional manager tbf. Felt a bit ripped off.

R. B.It's a fun place, it has nice bar staff working there and lovely people who visit regularly. It even has a pool table, if you can get around it on a busy evening. I've only been in on weekend evenings not sure what it's like during the week.

K. H.The Dram Shop is well located for a pub in the centre of Hull, on a corner site. We had drinks there early in the evening before it became busy. The feature circular bar and ceiling are of significant interest and worthy of a visit. There is a good well lit pool table here which attracts a good number of players, and the comfortable seating around the circular shaped space makes it ideal for socialising in small groups. And perhaps equally important the beer is great.

o.cheap and cheerful. beer was nice (a tetleys ). staff pleasant. comfy enough seating. usual sports type pub with fruit machines and music ( which was quite a good selection ).
C. H.A great pub with freindly staff and a wide selection of drinks. Whilst I was visiting for hull pride 2018, the group I was part of spoke highly of the bar, and it sister venue (saville row cafe bar).
