J. G.Huge selection of drinks, staff are friendly but the venue absolutely stinks of stale body odour. It’s twice I’ve visited.. first time I thought it was a smelly customer, this time you could cut the air with a knife.
D. H.TPR has a fantastic selection of craft beer and a great selection of continental draft beer. Also available are some quite unusual spirits. It’s mostly about the music and easy atmosphere. Nearly all the music is played on vinyl unless there is a live band or a DJ on and the selection is always quite eclectic.The staff are friendly and relaxed.

D. M.Alternative and off-beat drinking and music venue. Visited during a mid-afternoon pub crawl that needed a change of scenery from traditional pubs. It proved to be a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The range of beers is stunning and truly global. All beers are listed with short descriptions that made the selection of the draught and bottled beers straight forward. It worth saying again the range of world beers is unique and well described in paper guides. The music was sublime and provided an ideal backdrop and conversation piece. I think most passers-by would regard this as 'young peoples' bar but our group was 55+ average age and felt at ease. The music is eclectic and not aimed at any specific age group. I'm very happy to have finally visited this intriguing bar and I'm looking forward to future sessions.
x. _.Superb pub. Amazingly chilled. Great range of anything you want to drink. Full of good and interesting people. Affordable. Every member of staff is superb. Can give advice on any drink to suit your palate. One of mine and my husbands favourite places to go. Not been before? It's a must try out!! 5 stars to TPR all round. You guys are great.

The staff are all delightful and friendly, the variety of alcohol they serve is excellent and the atmosphere is wonderful. They play some excellent music and the weekly quiz is a highlight to be sure!
There's no place I'd rather spend my time and money whether I'm just having a few quiet drinks or gearing up for a night out.

j. r.It's a bar it's just a bar it doesn't pretend to be anything else. Vinyl is played by the owner who was a member of the beautiful south. Great range of beers from around the world to try.

D. P.This quirky 70s themed bar is a den of international beers to die for. Japanese beer? Of course. Icelandic ale? No problem. The staff are friendly and interesting, and there's a legendary pub quiz where 3rd place gets 1st prize - so it's an easy place to get chatting to people. The bar even has it's own beer now. Their quirky cocktail menu is entirely based on Buckfast, so 'Bucktails' - beware, Bucky's a famously punchy mix of caffeine and alcohol. If you are stumped by having so much choice then you can roll a dice at the bar to select your drink from their shortlist. Plus there are all the retro snacks I guzzled as a kid - Frazzles, Chipsticks&Co. Dogs are welcome, though probably not on the sofas.
