Had a fantastic day/night at the Springhead, for our mums 90th birthday. I would like to say a big Thankyou to Lyn and her team, who put on an amazing buffet. Super venue, for a family party. 🎉🥂🍷

Drinks are relatively cheap here, staff are friendly and helpful and as it was a party we were attending, there was a substantial buffet provided. Only very small complaint and as I was driving a coffee would have been nice but it was not available, but overall would go again.

A very spacious place with a good live music set-up. Ruined for me tonight by finding a tissue in the froth of my beer. Ugh! Can still feel its texture in my mouth. (Edit -response to owner) Discovered it right as I finished the drink and in a hurry to leave. As I was driving I couldn’t have another beer anyway. When I got home I was invited to write a Google review. Here it is.

The Springhead pub has a wonderful beer garden at the rear of the property, must be the largest in the area. There are many picnic benches to sit and enjoy the outdoors especially in the warm sunshine. Also 3 wooden cabins have recently been built and are a brilliant addition to the outdoor space. The area is totally fenced off making it safe for both kids and dogs. There is also a good choice food menu being served from tea-time. The Landlady and her staff are always very pleasant. They are serving drinks/food outside due to COVID restrictions. I cant recommend this pub enough to have an enjoyable relaxing time.

The Springhead is a lovely pub with great music with the Frank Cleveland Big Band every other Monday from 8.30pm till 10.45. The Pub will be refurbished in a few weeks time to the highest standards . The next gig will be on the the 7th. May. 2018.

Great friendly pub, huge choice of Gins 😍 Lovely landlady and staff and a huge clean, tidy beer garden for families to enjoy. Also started doing food again, can't wait to come in and try.

A great pub with good staff sticking to the current rules very well so you can go and enjoy a drink safely the garden is large so plenty of space and ample tables service is good and started doing a limited food menu so you can get something to eat as well

Had a great night here. I may be a bit bias. It was my 8 year old grandsons football presentation night. All the parents each brought different things for the buffet and they had a race night to fund the football team. They had a bouncy castle in the rear garden area. And we had the function room for the doo. The pub and staff were fantastic and it was a great night for the team/parents and grandparents. A brilliant night thanks to everyone for taking part.

Great customers. Great land lady. Nicely upgraded. Shame area managers don't support the landlady like the regulars do. Excellent entertainment room to hire. Often have groups on and special events. A great local and for new customers alike. 😁😀

The best thing about the Springhead is 'mine host' Lynne, who encourages and welcomes local bands to go along for practise nights where they can sit and enjoy decent ales, wines and spirits with crisps etc. My favoured night is a fortnightly Monday evening visit of the Frank Cleveland big band who play a varied programme including wonderful renditions of Glen Miller amongst others. There is, on this night a small entry fee taken by the band itself to cover their own expenses. There is a large car park if you have a dedicated driver, though the interior of the bars are waiting for a badly needed refurbishment, as are the 'comfort' rooms. Lynne offers an extremely good buffet at a very reasonable price in the dance hall for any occasion and it is well worth a visit on one if the many entertainment nights. Looking forward to the refurbished place which will no doubt make a huge difference.

Was here recently for a wedding do. Place is a shadow of its former self. No caricature left at all just white walls not even a picture up. But on a plus point the Guinness was good.

Not been as a patron for a long time but have recently been for 2 separate children's parties. Decent sized room and accommodating for different types of entertainment.

Brilliant night, great band but freezing in the pub, don't go to the toilets unless you have to. You get frostbite! Great serving and a good pint.

Great pub, playing it by the book , so go there , abide by the current rules and enjoy yourselves and then when things get back to normal The Springhead will still be there .

There new revamp is wonderful.. staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful..we had a great 40th Birthday Party with a proper family atmosphere.. Would highly recommend..
